La Trappola In Piacenza

A cool little osteria with hearty regional dishes. We were here for lunch and the food was delicious!

Today, Sunday, August 2nd, my family and I went to eat at Osteria La Trappola. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the owner in a very kind and welcoming manner. The unique location immediately reminded us of the unforgettable homey atmosphere of a trattoria. The menu was absolutely fantastic, with a vast selection, ranging from exquisite appetizers accompanied by excellent wines to fantastic traditional Piacenza first courses. I especially enjoyed the platter accompanied by excellent focaccia and exquisite lardo. The high-quality ingredients and the passion the chefs put into preparing them made the difference in the dishes. The service was also excellent, with very friendly and helpful waiters, ready to answer any customer requests. It was also nice to chat with the very pleasant owner. Overall, the best osteria we've ever eaten at in Piacenza.

Traditional dishes served in a truly lovely atmosphere by a very nice woman. It was a special evening.

A charming and traditional osteria with homemade cuisine that you can taste. The menu is small but excellent. The service is friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

Amazing food, the owner-chef is a delightful person, he describes his dishes with affection, I would say. He prepared a delicious lunch for us: the anolini with a 4-meat broth were mouth-watering, the pisarei were delicious, the tagliolini with truffles were sublime, not to mention the tortelli with very thin pasta, which melted in your mouth. Thank you, chef, for the care and knowledge with which you delighted us.

Very good traditional cuisine, although the portions were a little small.
