What can I say! Angela and Isabella welcome you like a guest into their home... and the food at their place is truly home-cooked, with top-quality ingredients... everything is delicious and plentiful... and the bill? For what you eat, you'd have to spend a lot more... well done.

Until a few years ago, we often came to Farini's in Montereggio... nostalgic vacationers for these mountainous places and the delicious dishes of these valleys. Well, we returned after a good five years with some dear relatives (also from Lodi... or somewhere around there), because we had promised Angela (the owner) that when we crossed the threshold and up the steps of this trattoria, we would do so accompanied by just as many purebred "Figoni"! AND SO IT WAS. My goodness, what a welcome, both in terms of food and atmosphere. Yes, because "They" welcome you with wide eyes and a broad smile, unabashedly bringing you their best local dishes, with excellent wine that even a teetotaler would enjoy (while Mirko, from afar, nods and chuckles). Then the "bill" that's presented to you at the end is another effective digestive that makes you want to return. I won't dwell on the food: it's worth coming to taste. Thanks again, dear Figoni.

Yesterday, in the company of motorcycle friends (7), we drove from Cremona to the I FIGONI restaurant in the Montereggio district of Farini. What can I say? I agree with all the positive reviews. Excellent cured meats paired with various sauces, excellent first courses: 3 stuffed tortelli, EXCELLENT, pisarei and fasoil EXCELLENT, chicche with mushrooms and herbs EXCELLENT. After skipping the main course, we moved on to desserts, then coffee. She offered us a digestif after the meal. But since we were on our motorcycles, we abstained, thanking her. The ladies in the kitchen and in the dining room were very helpful with their advice. Perfect service, clean place, and the bill very FAIR. I'm not saying we'll be back, given the distance of 100km. A mountain trattoria in a small village. A small and welcoming place, just like the people who served us. The food was plentiful and good. We'll do it again.

We ate so much, and the owners were very nice and kind. We'll definitely be back with the whole family.

I had a truly pleasant experience. The staff was excellent in every way: friendly, always available, and attentive to every need. You could clearly tell they loved their job, because every gesture and every smile were genuine and never forced. The food was excellent, with attention to detail and prepared with quality ingredients. Each dish was tasty and beautifully presented. The facility is also very welcoming, well-organized, and makes you feel immediately at ease. A place you'll gladly return to and one I recommend without hesitation.

A mountain trattoria in the Apennines, exactly as it should be: family-run, simple, warm, with homemade food, abundant, tasty, and reasonably priced. I always love returning to Dennis; the grandmother in the kitchen can satisfy anyone's palate. Generous portions and prices just like in the old days. I recommend everyone stop by Montereggio to refuel there!

Good trattoria: a simple place, but the food and portions are top-notch. There's no menu, but the lady kindly and smilingly explains the various options. The portions are generous and the food is good. We'd heard about it and wanted to try it (even though it took an hour and a half to get there). We'll definitely be back, even with friends.
