07/07/2026: A historic and highly appreciated place that has always been there. They have raised the target a bit and that's fine. In the summer, coming to dine here is a pleasure, it's cool and the view of the surrounding hills, so tidy and beautiful, takes you elsewhere.

26/03/2026: In a warm and comfortable setting, modern yet delightful, we enjoyed their famous torta fritta with cured meats. Absolutely amazing! An excellent glass of wine and their own pickles. Friendly and professional service, no surprises at all... Filippo, number one!!! The experience is worth the trip.
25/03/2026: Everything was perfect. We'll definitely be back. The people were as wonderful as the food they served us.

Okay, the company pays, but the secretary starts asking me if I go to starred restaurants. There are only five stars here for the ridiculously high prices.
5 pieces of fried gnocchi €10
1 mixed cured meat (the only good thing) €36
3 flaccid pisarei
A half-empty bottle of very poor Malvasia left on the table: basically, there's €50 more in the bill, and honestly, I'm fed up with having someone waiting to peel me at lunch while I go to work. Enough.
30/07/2026: Nice place, good food, good fried cake.... the price was a bit too high for what we ate.... well, I don't know if I'll go back....

15/07/2026: A typical mountain restaurant. Excellent cuisine, generous portions, reasonable prices, and friendly, welcoming staff.
16/04/2026: At Ivan's, I can't figure out what the dissatisfied people ate, I say this for what little my opinion is worth.
Whenever I'm in the Vezzolacca area, I try to go there.
Tomorrow, since I'm nearby, I'll stop by again to see if my opinion changes.

12/07/2026: We had dinner a few nights ago on the cool outdoor terrace. The pizza was well-cooked and generously topped, and the tortelli with spinaroli mushrooms were fabulous. The pisarei was to my liking, a little salty, but delicious. The staff was very friendly, and the prices were fair. The homemade bargnolino made by Mr. Silvano, the very kind and charming owner, was also excellent. Highly recommended.
21/06/2026: We went to the Valtolla pizzeria restaurant last night. We arrived around 9:15 pm without a reservation. There were many empty tables and many people had finished dinner. After two minutes, the owner came over and told me that if they had us for dinner too, they would have to wait too long for the others. We were eating two pizzas. I'm speechless.

01/01/2025: Taverna inserita nel cortile del castello di Vigoleno con paesaggio suggestivo, personale discreto ed efficiente, menu' con cucina tipica emiliana, salumi buoni, pisarei e faso' buoni, dolci buoni, da provare.
29/12/2024: Locale bello e pulito, mangiare buonissimo, prezzi onesti ma sorattutto la signora che serve ai tavoli con dei grossi occhiali neri educatissima e gentilissima. Super consigliato!

02/05/2025: Trattoria di una volta e rimasta tale anche nell'arredamento, gnocco fritto non unito e salumi eccellenti. Buonissimi anche i primi piatti e ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Personale gentile, soprattutto la cameriera.

29/09/2024: Agriturismo intinto in uno splendido paesaggio appenninico,ricavato dalla ristrutturazione di una fornace di fine 700.All'interno 2 salette da pranzo rustiche ed ordinate,ambiente molto familiare .Il servizio è curato da Miriam,angelica fanciulla dotata di solerzia,garbo e grazia.Il nostro desinare s'è composto di 2 generosi antipasti con salumi di rara bontà,compagnati da giardiniera casereccia, focaccia calda e bortolina.2 primi,plin di zucca con amaretti e anolini al formaggio,apprezzatissimi.1 secondo,battuta di manzo con fichi caramellati,letteralmente sbranato.Come epilogo uno squisito dessert.La parte beverina s'è pregiata d'un inebriante gerwuztraminer una bottiglia d'acqua potabile e caffè.Prima del commiato avendo notato servire delle accattivanti pizze abbiamo deciso di esportarne una da gustare a magione.Conto totale e probo di 99 euro.A Dio piacendo arrivederci e grazie...

21/07/2024: Yet again we were here in Italy for 4 weeks and as it is one of my favourite places, we went here 4 times. Brilliant food and service. Love it and look forward to comming again next time.
