Everything was delicious...even if I haven't managed to get to the second courses yet...a round of applause for the desserts

I'd heard good things about it from my trusted friends, and today I discovered they were right. Given that I called at 1:00 to check availability and made it clear that I was leaving Piacenza (40 km away), they said, "No problem." They offer their own menu, and you eat what you want and pay accordingly. Moral of the story: The two of us ate coppa, salami, pancetta, Russian salad, fried gnocco, savory pie, tortelli con la coda (tortelli with oxtail) and mushroom sauce on the side, pisarei e faso (a type of pasta with beans), anolini in brodo (a type of pasta with mushrooms), roast guinea fowl, roast beef, roast pork, cooked salami, baked potatoes, a dessert, a bottle of ortrugo (a type of vegetable oil) and a bottle of water, espresso corretto (a type of coffee with a touch of spiciness), and, last but not least, Bargnolino. Total? Not 100, not 90, not 80, but 72 euros for ladies and gentlemen. Alessandra's service was impeccable, the icing on the cake. ❤️

Very good Piacenza menu with a wide selection of tastings.

Good food, and plenty of it in the truest sense of the word, because you get what you want and as much as you want. But it's impossible to eat all the appetizers, three first courses, two second courses, dessert, wine, coffee, and liqueur and pay €36. The atmosphere is authentic, nestled in the hills, and it's wonderful that there's none of the background music they play in all the trashy places to appear trendy and then make you pay for it, which I hate. Full tablecloth.

Truly delicious traditional Piacenza dishes. Options for various food intolerances are equally delicious. The desserts deserve a special mention.

I went to this restaurant yesterday with my partner. The place was packed, but even though we hadn't booked, they seated us. Excellent home cooking (meaning the wonderful ladies prepare everything themselves), impeccable service (Martina served us, very professional and kind), and a more than fair price. Highly recommended!!!!
