10/05/2026: The meal was excellent, the lady was incredibly kind, the gentleman a little rough but very friendly. I don't know if I'll ever be back in those parts. I was coming from Friuli, heading for Genoa, but if I ever come back, I'll definitely stop by. I forgot: I spent really little! (By the way, I specifically exited the highway so as not to eat the reheated sandwiches from the grill.)

29/04/2026: At lunchtime: A suitable place for a business lunch. Simple but tasty food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. I'm not familiar with the evening meals.
07/03/2026: We came on a Saturday night and found the place packed and very noisy, so much so that we had to speak louder to make a conversation.
The ingredients were good, although the dishes we tried were good, but not wow-worthy.
The service was a bit pushy and inconsistent.

22/05/2026: Excellent Irish-style pub/restaurant with a Guinness theme, the price is fair for truly excellent food, for drivers there is the possibility of taking a shower for €3 and a large parking lot for trucks, a night toilet and coffee machines always open.
21/05/2026: I was driving through the area in my truck and saw this place on my GPS with a huge parking lot, which is also monitored by security guards and cameras. I stopped for the night and had dinner here. It's a beautiful place with lots of photos of historic rock bands and is well-decorated. The food is FANTASTIC, fast, with generous portions and excellent quality. For a first course, second course and water, I paid €18. The quality of the service is unparalleled. Even the two waiters, despite the restaurant being full, were exceptional and quick. So, what can I say? When I'm in the area, I'll definitely be making a regular stop here.

24/11/2025: Hi, I've been a customer of the ice cream maker for almost 3 years, unfortunately the prices go up every year and the quality goes down every year. A while ago I had a chocolate cake, I expected a real chocolate cake, so not the one they usually have. Then they didn't tell me that putting a name on it would cost me more, so I didn't say anything since it was an order already made. Then in the summer I was curious to try their granita, which wasn't really granita, it was crushed ice with colorant, since I'm used to eating real Sicilian granita. Unfortunately, my partner and I, because he also used to order things from there, will not go there again given the high prices and the low quality that left us disgusted.

22/07/2025: E' sempre un gran piacere tornare al Barca, innanzitutto per la gentilezza e la professionalità del proprietario e del personale di sala (manca molto la signora che abitualmente accoglieva la clientela e gestiva il carrello dei bolliti, alla quale va il nostro caro ricordo). E' sempre un gran piacere inoltre degustare i salumi e i primi piatti della tradizione piacentina e i bolliti misti che oggi, però, non abbiamo ordinato a causa del caldo. Rimedieremo in autunno! Ampia scelta di dolci. Buon vino, un gutturnio della casa e prezzo adeguato alla qualità dei prodotti offerti. I nostri complimenti, come sempre!
19/07/2025: Cena in coppia in questo ristorante. è stata una piacevole esperienza Cibo eccellente, preparato con materie prime di ottima qualità che esaltano ogni piatto. Sapori autentici e ben bilanciati, che dimostrano grande attenzione nella scelta degli ingredienti e nella preparazione. Anche il servizio è stato impeccabile: il personale è cortese, disponibile e molto attento, sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza con discrezione. Prezzi onesti per un’esperienza culinaria di livello. Consigliatissimo

15/03/2026: I don't understand people who say the food is good. The cold cuts are already starting off: but can you serve salami that's obviously industrial and Milanese-style in Piacenza? Thick pancetta.
Butter and sage caramels... oh well, I won't comment.
Fried fish: good.
Fine salad and seafood appetizer in general are pitiful, made with poor quality ingredients.
Meat: I packed it up to take to my dogs.
Sorbet: too sour.
Coffee: good.
Pizza: just one, they obviously use very low-quality cheese.
There were three of us, we spent very little, but I would have preferred to pay a fair amount and eat at least reasonably well.

09/10/2025: Strong musty smell and "bizarre" hygiene conditions. The employee made me coffee while sticking his hands in his mouth the entire time, biting his nails. He then gave me breakfast with the same hands, without washing them. The bioches seem to be from a while ago. I also don't recommend the communication style; they make you a coffee and it seems like they're doing you a favor.

04/05/2025: Sono ritornato in questo ristorante a distanza di qualche anno e il ricordo positivo che avevo si sono rivelati giusti .
Pizza molto buona e ricca di ingredienti.
Servizio veloce e amichevole.

10/03/2025: Ristorante pizzeria a Castel san Giovanni un pochino dislocato. Trovato per caso e ben accettato.
Pizzata con amici di sabato, locale un pochino affollato ma ben organizzato.
Ottima la pizza salsiccia e friarielli ma anche le altre pizze presenti sul tavolo non erano da meno.
Vasta varietà di dolci e di ottima fattura.
Qualità/prezzo wuau.
Lo consiglio per trascorrere una serata piacevole!

31/05/2025: Ci siamo fermati per pranzo, classico ristoro alla mano per pescatori o cacciatori ,cibo discreto, un vassoio di salumi per due ,(due fette di salame 2 di crudo, 2 di coppa, 2 di pancetta , quindi considera 1 fetta per persona...) 2 secondi scarsi (2 fette di arrosto e 1 coscia d'anatra..) + una bottiglia d'acqua ,1/4 di vino e due caffè 60€, direi piuttosto caro, il menù ci è stato detto a voce, errore nostro di non aver chiesto il cartaceo, comunque dovrebbero specificare meglio che 30€ a testa è un prezzo fisso.. indipendentemente da quante portate prendi, forse cosi' non perdono la clientela, stampare un foglio , non e' un gran costo, visto che le portate sono sempre le stesse..oltretutto ordinato una porzione di rane fritte ,considerata la specialita' del posto.. dopo 40 minuti, ci dicono che la portata viene gestista se ci sono piu' ordinazioni..... davvero poca trasparenza da parte del locale.... informatevi prima..

17/05/2025: Posto non accogliente, nonostante che abbiamo preso il permesso per sedersi solo per bere arriva il proprietaria o quella che è . Ci ha trattato male solo per liberare il tovolo nonostante erano altri tavoli liberi
