Saturday lunch at this slightly vintage but very well kept, clean and tidy establishment. Local cuisine but also revisited, especially the first courses. Good appetizers but the fried gnocco is sold individually, which is quite curious in the Piacenza area. Excellent house wine but like all the proposals slightly expensive for the location. Total price from the starter,
first course, second course and side dish ending with dessert with coffee and coffee killer above 50 euros, a bit excessive indeed. Very friendly and efficient staff. The proposal of a fixed price tasting menu with multiple courses would be appreciated, as offered in numerous other restaurants in the province.

Classic appetizers, cured meats, fried pie and homemade giardiniera, excellent, first courses with a touch of imagination between the classic and the new, various second courses including veal, stuffed guinea fowl, pork fillet with mushrooms, excellent choice of desserts, meal price complete around €40. excellent price-quality ratio.

The restaurant is located up into the hills of Castell’Arquata and along a narrow road. It features a spectacular view over those hills and vineyards. The food is fresh, perfectly prepared, and unpretentious. Ask for the house-bottled wine. The white served with my ricotta and sage ravioli in butter was light, delicious, unusual, and perfect with my meal. The red my husband had was also excellent with his meal. My husband’s primi meat ravioli in meat sauce seems to have been what Chef Boyardi was trying to recreate and can. Unlike the gooey, flavorless stuff, the real thing was amazing! We had two different pork dishes for our secondi - my husband’s with porcini and mine with cipolli. Both were excellent - tender, rich, and flavorful. Like lunch at your grandmother’s table. The clientele were Italian families and couples on a Saturday lunch.

Cosa dire. Uno dei miei posti preferiti in assoluto. Ci sono andato per cene tra amici, ho fatto la mia festa di laurea, ci sono andato con i miei genitori e ora ci vado con i miei figli. Passano gli anni ed é sempre una garanzia.
Rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale.
Grazie a Roberto per il servizio, e Fausta che ci fa sempre sentire a casa.

Ristorante in stile antico. Cucina casalinga e locale. Si viene di sabato a pranzo 🥙 e si prendono 5 antipasti (gnocco fritto con affettati) 5 primi (tortelli al ragù d’anatra 🦆) 5 dessert 🍮 (bene la sbrisolona con zabaione) vino ortrugo, bianco locale
