Ristorante Primavera In Castell'arquato

Our second stop on the weekend, and the bar has definitely been raised. While the exterior retains the charm of a village trattoria, the interior surprises with its understated elegance and spectacular views of the valley at sunset. The staff is extremely friendly, and the house wine exceeded our expectations. The cuisine won us over with excellent gnocco fritto (fried dumplings) accompanied by quality cured meats, including a superb spalla cotta (cooked shoulder); the pisarei (a type of pasta) were also excellent. The only small complaint was that the tiramisu was perhaps served a little too cold. We say this with kindness, as Venetians, who believe tiramisu must be close to perfection, but it's a small detail that doesn't ruin an absolutely positive experience. Highly recommended for both couples and groups. Thank you!

A restaurant with a stunning view of the hills and vineyards. Some dishes are excellent, others less so, but the service is friendly and attentive. Good value. They also cater to those with food allergies!

I celebrated my retirement with fifty-two guests. Excellent lunch and perfect service, very attentive to vegan/vegetarian needs. The staff's kindness was above average. Absolutely recommended for enjoying the beautiful and the delicious!

Despite short notice, we were welcomed for a quick lunch with a group of 35 people on a trip from Venice, and we sampled the famous gnocco fritto with mixed cold cuts and pumpkin gnocchi with gorgonzola cheese and walnuts. Everything was delicious, accompanied by excellent wines from the owners' winery, which we brought with us. We highly recommend it and hope to return soon!

Welcoming place, good service, dishes (pork with polenta and guinea fowl) served cold. If they had been hot, they would have been even better.
