17/12/2025: Due to a traffic jam on the highway, we decide to exit at Berceto for lunch and head to the Ca' Mari inn, which none of us had heard of. It's an iconic place on a large, green, tree-filled plateau with a classic little church. As soon as you enter, you feel like you're at grandma's: the stove, the furnishings, the tables, the tablecloths... Everything makes you feel warmly welcomed. The friendly lady explains a simple menu with intriguing dishes. The tagliatelle with mushrooms and ravioli with goose ragù are memorable. The goose breast, beef fillet, and picanha are all delicious. The price is fair.

28/12/2025: I was fortunate to discover this restaurant. I say fortunate because, besides being a restaurant with an elegant atmosphere, it's also a place where you feel welcomed like family. The manager is someone who, with kindness and professionalism, guides you on an excellent food and wine journey. His wife is the one who adds a touch of elegance by taking care of the aesthetic details of the restaurant and was a great support to me by helping me with photos to create a beautiful memory of the day. The waiters are also very knowledgeable: attentive to customer requests and ready to offer explanations about the dishes and wines served. I celebrated my son's graduation at this restaurant, and that's why I can tell you how lucky I was. They all made it an unforgettable day. Of all the restaurants I've been to, this is the only one that, in addition to meeting all the requirements mentioned—quality products, cleanliness, elegance, fair prices, friendliness, etc.—has something fundamental to me: a big heart that makes you feel more than just a customer: a friend. Thank you all, and I'll see you again soon.

13/07/2026: Amazing. I asked for an off-menu dish, and as if by magic...my request was granted. The food wasn't excellent, but it was exceptional. If only there were a 6-star rating...the service was attentive and thoughtful, the atmosphere was refined and comfortable.

06/06/2026: Second experience at Bassa Da Ivan! This time I listened to the person who recommended this place and ordered the ORZOTTO!!! It was good, but so good it was a shame to only order one!!! The cured meats and appetizers are excellent. I recommend the mixed one with Tosone, polenta, Culatello, and Parma ham. The wine list is extensive and well-chosen.

14/02/2026: After many years, we finally return to Ivan, and nothing has changed: quality, kindness, and the atmosphere are top-notch. The main dining room is bright and airy thanks to the large window overlooking the garden. The menu features all the treasures of this region, starting with the cured meats. They're a must-try, and the house classic appetizer is worth the trip. We start with the tosone e pancetta, fried polenta with an incredibly fluffy lard pesto. The culatello and prosciutto are perfect, sweet, with an enveloping flavor; it's worth adding a few slices of salami, aged yet tender and with a timeless flavor. All accompanied by Pizzavacca's excellent giardiniera. Among the first courses, featuring anolini, braided green tortelli, and orzotto with salami paste, we were tempted by the lasagnetta with three ragùs. It's not your typical lasagna; it's not wrapped in béchamel, but topped with a parmesan fondue, making it incredibly delicious. Among the many layers of soft, thin pasta, here are the three ragùs: the savory yet sweet meat is perfectly evident given the absence of béchamel. The second courses are also inviting, but the space left is minimal. So, we shared tender sautéed snails on a potato cream. A sweet conclusion with some Carnival treats. As for wine, we treated ourselves to a champagne all-you-can-eat meal, but the wine list is endless and caters for all tastes. In conclusion, a lunch to remember. I hope to return soon.

22/07/2026: Excellent pizza, with an easy-to-digest dough and appropriate toppings. The menu offers a wide variety of choices, from traditional to gourmet pizzas. Despite it being a Saturday in the middle of summer and the place being packed, I must say the service was prompt and attentive. The hillside location benefits from a favorable climate, allowing you to dine al fresco on warm summer evenings while enjoying the pleasant cool breeze. For families with children, there is a well-equipped playground nearby.

14/06/2026: A perfect evening, with an intimate setting in the outdoor garden. The menu was interesting and, in my opinion, exquisite. Excellent value for money, service, and quality. Kudos to all the staff.

12/07/2026: Typical Neapolitan cuisine restaurant, excellent and high quality food, I had the tagliolini with lobster, it was delicious and the fish was very fresh, compliments also to the courtesy of the waitress, highly recommended restaurant

17/07/2026: An unforgettable dinner experience. The food was the exact mix of high cuisine and tradition I was hoping to find, the service was attentive and proactive, and the, recently renovated, hall was inviting and decorated with the works of local artists. If you're new to Parma cuisine the taste itinerary is a must, but if you're well versed already I highly recommend their seasonal dishes, the risotto had a surprisingly elaborate taste that I can't stop thinking about. I don't drink, but their Wine selection is stellar, according to a friend who was with me. For dessert I had the extravagantly prepared "on the spot Tiramisu", which the owner herself makes at the the table for your entourage. My main criticism is that the air conditioning was a bit weak, leading to the room being slightly warmer than I'd appreciate, especially when mixed with the leather chairs. All in all, an experience you cannot afford to miss when visiting Parma.

26/06/2026: Wonderful restaurant with great menue, magnificent chef and very nice wine selection. Best chioce to enjoy very tasty food, nice atmosphere (many thanks to the staff, Marco and Christina!) and good wines. Simply perfect!

28/06/2026: Great place, very quaint, and the quality of the ingredients is evident. Despite being a delicatessen, they also offer interesting vegetarian options: I had two tortelli, one with lemon and ginger and the other with cherry. Everything was homemade, and everything was delicious.

18/02/2026: Taiwanese people pilgrimage to Europe in winter (Via Francigena) Accommodation in Cavazzola Very delicious vegetarian dinner and breakfast Slept very warmly and comfortably The dogs and cats were so cute ☺️ Accommodation in Ostello Della Cisa was closed in winter, so the owner helped me drive to Passo della Cisa and back to stay another day. The next day, he drove me back down the mountain to Pontremoli.
