20/09/2025: Popped in for lunch on Friday at noon. Each dish was a work of art. We had gnocchi with snails, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms (in season), and the zucchini dish. Each presented harmonious combinations of flavors and textures. They provided a basket of sour dough bread that was perfect for getting the last bits of sauce. Presentations were colorful and artistic. The service was friendly and efficient. The restroom was very clean with a design that would be very accessible to persons with disabilities / wheelchairs. So glad we found them. Amending my review to say that we enjoyed it so much we decided to make it our last meal in Parma before catching the train to Milano. Today the new dishes tried were the bucatini with asparagus & caviar, and spaghetti with coconut, cashews, & oysters. Everything was as perfect as yesterday.

19/09/2025: This was an incredible dinner in Parma. Quite unexpected. Not your typical Italian restaurant. It was an Italian, French, Asian fusion IMHO. Really should have a Michelin star. The staff were knowledgeable, attentive and accommodating. They helped with wine and spoke excellent English. We shared 4 dishes. First they brought an amuse Buche. Then we shared cipolla with Comte sauce, then the tagliatelle with porchini mushrooms, then the fish (cod on our visit) with corn, then the chocolate dessert. Every dish was beautifully presented and tasted even better.

08/09/2025: We had lunch at Trattoria Oppici, and as always, everything went perfectly. The appetizers were high-quality and very generous. The gnocco fritto was delicious and light. The dishes and desserts were very carefully prepared. The wine list was impressive and certainly unmatched by other restaurants in the area.

29/09/2025: Recently renovated, this welcoming, and tastefully decorated restaurant offers an open-air counter, a chalkboard with the daily specials, and a few tables outside, protected by planters. Street-level entrance with a small step. The terrace adjacent to the door is level. The service is excellent. Friendly service, a constant smile, and genuine helpfulness: they describe the flavors, suggest pairings, and you can tell they're passionate about the product. Excellent organization, even with people queuing. The first time I went, I had a warm zabaglione and it made me want to return; the second time, a zabaglione affogato. Sublime. Distinctive flavors and a complimentary crunchy wafer. A top gelato shop in Parma for quality, personality, and service. Prices are in line with the quality and the area. I hope they're a huge success, because they deserve it.

21/09/2025: If you've never been to Casa Ramona, you're unfamiliar with the area. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and personable. Ramona is the jewel in the crown, and she'll be happy to advise you on every aspect. The menu is rich and carefully curated, respecting tradition. The wine list is comprehensive and features a few unexpected twists. A true local landmark. Try it and believe it.

20/09/2025: I've only been once but I'll be back soon, I really liked the environment, the owner Ramona and the staff are very helpful, kind and knowledgeable, the food is of excellent quality and well prepared dishes. It was a pleasant evening, good value for money. I have been back several times and I can confirm that the food is good and the food is very good.

08/09/2025: Very satisfied. The cold cuts and cured meats were more than excellent. We also had some very high-quality first courses. The wine was excellent. The atmosphere was unique and suited to the setting. The price was reasonable. The waitress who served us (a brunette with short hair) was attentive and kind. We all enjoyed it.

14/09/2025: Don't miss it! It's always a guarantee, in every way. High-quality ingredients, unique dishes, refined yet balanced. You can savor every single ingredient. I've never had risottos this good! The focaccia poker appetizer is indescribable; you have to try it to understand. Excellent quality wines and olive oil. The desserts are equally as good; I love the cheesecake. Very clean place, bathrooms feel like living rooms and are equipped for every need. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, everyone is kind and smiling. A big thank you to the owner, a lovely person who created such a unique place. We'll be back as soon as we can. 15/09/2025: Excellent trattoria, we were greeted with great courtesy and helpfulness despite having made a reservation on a Sunday only ten minutes beforehand. Generous dishes, excellent platters, and a truly good house wine. The prices are fair: we ordered a cheese platter, a charcuterie board, a first course each, wine, and coffee...highly recommended!

18/09/2025: I visited this place with a group of friends. Let's start with the fact that the service is meticulously cared for by the owner, who is very friendly and takes great care and passion in explaining each dish they serve. We took his advice, and for an appetizer he recommended fried mushrooms with turmeric mayonnaise, which, needless to say, were AMAZING. The mayonnaise helps offset the slight flavor of the fried mushrooms, which are so light and delicate that they blend perfectly with the mayonnaise. Then we continued with a first course. I was persuaded to order tagliolini with mushrooms. I was very hesitant because I'm not usually a fan of them, but these were DELICIOUS. Handmade tagliolini made that day and a mushroom sauce that had an incredible aroma. To finish, a lovely dessert, of which there's always room. The price isn't excessive, around €50 per person. Obviously, if you want to add a good bottle of wine, you'll spend a little more, but it's worth it. I always recommend booking because the place is ALWAYS FULL. They also accept dogs and are treated with special care. Another important thing is that the cleanliness is impeccable.

02/10/2025: We were looking for a restaurant near Parma, and our high expectations were more than met. The restaurant was delicious, with top-quality cold cuts, as were the first courses we ordered. The service was extremely friendly, and the price was in line with what we ate. Highly recommended, we'll be back.

21/09/2025: Manubiola, the home of porcini mushrooms. Truly everything is EXCELLENT, from the crostini with porcini mushrooms to the porcini lasagna, fried mushrooms, risotto with porcini mushrooms, etc. etc. Very friendly staff, and finally the waiter in charge of desserts, VERY NICE!!! Finally, if you like porcini mushrooms, you can't miss it. FABULOUS

21/09/2025: The best restaurant I've ever tried for having mushrooms. Period. If you go for dinner you need to book weeks before, but for launch usually there's no problem. Give them a ring, just to be sure.

28/09/2025: The Trattoria/Osteria di Fornio is truly a wonderful place to stay: the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The cuisine is a dream for those who love tradition: Emilian dishes prepared to perfection, with authentic flavors and attention to every detail. From fresh pasta to main courses, everything is top-notch. A place where the food is divine and the atmosphere even better... it's impossible not to want to return!

Located in Fornio, not far from Fidenza, it's the kind of place that welcomes you like a friend, not a tourist. The atmosphere is truly evocative: the open kitchen makes you feel part of the ritual, while in the basement, an ancient stone cellar holds mouth-watering cured meats: high-quality culatello, prosciutto, and similar cured meats, flavors that reflect the region. The dishes, too: we ate divinely, all authentic, well-balanced flavors, made with excellent ingredients. The service is warm, welcoming, and kind: you truly feel welcome. In short, Osteria di Fornio is a complete experience for those who love traditional cuisine, with a family atmosphere, excellent cured meats, and a touch of excellence. Highly recommended!
