04/05/2026: I went for a quick aperitivo. The charcuterie and cheese platter was excellent, along with a glass of local red wine. It's definitely worth returning for more time. Returning for a Sunday lunch, I can confirm the excellent charcuterie accompanied by dips, jams, bread, and cheeses. The atmosphere was casual, the prices were excellent. The dessert was delicious, too!

30/05/2026: A simple and welcoming atmosphere just steps from the center, with knowledgeable, professional, and always smiling young staff... Excellent food; a vanilla custard that will remain a delicious memory forever. Highly recommended!

Excellent products, from the cured meats (especially Culatello and Parma ham) to the Parmigiano Reggiano. Fair prices, super friendly service, and a cheerful atmosphere reign among the staff. Absolutely not to be missed.

10/05/2026: Lunch at Osteria di Fornio A place where you immediately sense attention to detail, elegance without excess, and a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere. The ambiance is exquisite, impeccably clean, and the staff is friendly, helpful, and very professional. They make you feel welcomed naturally, without being forced. The cuisine was truly delightful: the cured meats were simply divine, of the highest quality, served with great care. The selection of dishes was also excellent, and the pairing with the Franciacorta rosé was very interesting. I also greatly appreciated the lightness of the preparations and the overall balance of the food. You can tell when a restaurant has genuine customer care and a genuine passion for the restaurant. A wonderful experience. I will gladly return.

09/05/2026: A wonderful discovery and an excellent experience with delicious traditional local dishes. To start, a platter of cured meats, hams, and parmesan accompanied by fried polenta, herb and ricotta tortelli, and maltagliati with a walnut, onion, and apple sauce—delicious and delicious. I couldn't help but try an excellent second course, a braised rabbit, and to finish, an excellent tiramisu-style semifreddo. The service was impeccable. I hope to return soon.

13/05/2026: A truly beautiful and refined restaurant. The outdoor courtyard is stunning, making it feel like you're out of town when in reality you're just steps from the center. Excellent food, with many truly original options, for both risotto lovers and non-risotto lovers like myself. Very friendly and helpful staff. The bathrooms were spotless despite the restaurant being busy, with complimentary toiletries such as deodorant, shoe polish, and hair gel in the men's room—a touch of class and pampering. The quality/price ratio is excellent. A top-notch experience! Congratulations!

12/05/2026: A brilliant risotto restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. Very nicely decorated. The staff are really friendly and speak excellent English (even though I tried to place my order in Italian). Risotto lovers will find a fantastic selection. You can tell that risotto is the owner’s favourite dish. Highly recommended!

The tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms was a fragrant embrace, the main courses exquisite, crafted with the passion you sense from the first bite. And finally, the homemade desserts: simply irresistible, the sweetest way to end a perfect evening.

03/07/2026: I absolutely loved it here. We stopped by on a road trip not expecting much but my gosh was it a lovely lunch. Delicious meats and cheese, certainly in my top 3 deli meats I’ve eaten in my lifetime. Whatever the whipped creamy cheese was, was incredible. The staff were kind and helpful although a slight language barrier as we don’t speak Italian. It didn’t mean the service was any less, they were all extremely attentive. The place is absolutely spotless which I would give 10 stars for. I rarely attend a restaurant where it feels immaculate, but this place is pristine clean. Glasses, plates, cutlery, serving boards all immaculate. Seating was comfortable. It was lovely a cool in the restaurant temperature wise. I loved it here!!!!

31/05/2026: We stopped here to shop on our way back. The staff were very attentive, and we were greeted with a sampler of their products. The quality was fantastic. The Parma ham, salami, and cheese were all excellent!

26/06/2026: A lovely discovery. Good food, generous but not excessive dishes, fair prices. A special compliment to the service. We were a small table of old friends who needed to chat, and we were given plenty of time to do so during dinner without being forced. Personally, I had a lovely evening.

06/05/2026: Visited for a wedding reception. It's certainly a curious place of considerable historical interest. Home to the monks whose hydraulic works reclaimed the surrounding land and made farming possible for centuries. It's also home to the accordion museum.

05/05/2026: We ended up here by chance. We didn't expect much more from it than a place to sleep and have breakfast during our trip to Tuscany. But what a lovely place. The village is nice. The surroundings aren't particularly special, but the hotel is top-notch. Highly recommended.

20/05/2026: It was blackthorn season and we were lucky, we had lunch based entirely on blackthorns... Everything was delicious.
