I have been a customer of the Osteria di Fornio for at least ten years, although I go about once a year due to the distance between my place of residence and Fidenza. This restaurant is a real point of reference for good Emilian cuisine, expertly revisited by the chef in a more contemporary key, without however distorting it. At these levels of quality it is difficult to talk about dishes being better than others. However, I would like to point out the Buon Insieme menu, thanks to which we got to know the Osteria di Fornio years ago, which represents an excellent way to get to know the dishes of this place and its territory at 360°. The welcome from the dining room staff was also genuine and professional, led by the friendly husband of the chef and co-owner. A service as warm as that of taverns and as attentive as that of an excellent restaurant. Absolutely recommended and, without doubt, we will continue to return.

Simply the best restaurant in Fidenza and the surrounding area, a must try if you are in the area. Cristina and Luca the owners are extremely friendly and their team looked after us very well. We had some delicious Culatello and salame, wild new season asparagus flan, creamy light scrambled eggs with seasonal mushrooms followed by homemade Tagliolini pasta with wild mushrooms, followed by tender succulent pork cheeks with wild mushrooms and finished with homemade creamy ice cream with various accompaniments. We drank 2 bottles of very good Prosecco, 2 bottles of full bodied dry Lambrusco , coffee and grappa finished the most delicious meal. Reasonable price for their top quality produce. Can only highly recommend!

Excellent experience, absolutely worth trying!!!

we had lunch with a company of 12 people on Sunday 11th, the fourth time in a year, now we are at home even if we have to do (very willingly) a 40+40 km, and I must say that every time we feel better and better, we get up always the bar in a bit (just a bit because when you are at very high levels the margin is always thinner to file) typical restaurant, very clean, sober and elegant, spacious cellar also for the eye and smell, professional and very nice owners and staff, splendid dishes and each with the delicacy and refinement that only the chef's touch can give; half sleeves stuffed in capon broth are downright touching; absolutely adequate quality for the price, you arrive happy and leave even happier, sorry not to stay for dinner too! today in Parma and its province on the podium without any ifs or buts Soon !

Nel cuore della pianura, a breve distanza da Fidenza, sorge questa incantevole osteria. Il suo menù, caratteristico della zona, offre un'ampia selezione di vini nazionali e stranieri. I piatti, attentamente preparati, deliziano il palato. Tuttavia, sebbene il cibo sia gustoso, manca quel tocco che susciterebbe il desiderio di condividere l'esperienza con gli altri. I prezzi sono medio alti, e le porzioni rispecchiano l'atmosfera più formale di un ristorante rispetto a un'osteria.

Tra i migliori 3 ristoranti italiani provati in vita mia. Amo questa regione, questo posto è il top del top del top del top.

Prima volta in questa osteria, dopo che ne ho sentito spesso parlare. Una volta concluso il pranzo mi sono resa conto del perché sia così difficile prenotare.. tutto veramente squisito, dall'antipasto misto, ai salumi e formaggi della tradizione, alla cucina semplice e al tempo stesso elegante di questa osteria. Rapporto qualità prezzo corretto, considerando peraltro le porzioni piu che soddisfacenti. Spero di poter tornare presto.

Tutto perfetto dall'accoglienza al servizio, passando per le portate di una cucina semplice ma non banale ed attenta alle stagionalità . Ambiente curato e moderno -perché chi lo ha detto che le osterie devono essere sempre polverose?- buona e ben assortita la carta dei vini e in generale prezzi del menù corretti. Torneremo più spesso.
