01/06/2025: We had lunch in the outdoor area, very enjoyable and breezy. So much so that we ate tortellini in brodo at the end of May!!! Exceptional!!!!

26/05/2025: We were on a trip to Carpi on a Sunday in May and by chance we ended up at Duomo 13. We had a great time and had a pleasant culinary experience.

27/04/2025: An excellent experience. Tried by chance, but still enticed by the excellent reviews, we discovered a truly excellent place in our Carpi. We were welcomed by the owners who immediately put you at ease. You sit down and it feels like you are at home with friends who assist you with professional but truly welcoming ways. For this time we decided on the fried gnocco and the cold cuts platter, the result being that the gnocco is amazing, soft and absolutely not greasy, which is not obvious, for me with stomach problems I would have eaten two pieces and that was it, instead with theirs I would have eaten endlessly, and the cured meats were really excellent. We decided on a pasta, homemade pasta with pecorino cream and crispy bacon, result, I brushed those too. For this first experience it went like this, and therefore very satisfying, but we are determined that there will be no shortage of other occasions and often to eat in this place. Thanks to the owners and the kitchen staff.

The location is surrounded by greenery and is perfect for a special occasion like this. Delicious and excellent quality food. I thank the owner and all the staff, always available and attentive to our needs. Highly recommended both for celebrating special occasions and for tasting excellent food in a welcoming atmosphere.

18/12/2024: The girls, always very kind, offer an excellent choice of dishes to take away or to nibble on as an aperitif on the spot, everything is really excellent, very good!!

11/05/2025: Years ago we went there and for our anniversary we chose this restaurant. Little choice and too many particular dishes (duck, pigeon, veal kidney, snails) ... there was not a second fish to choose from. Even the dessert my husband had was not up to par. The service and the location are 5 stars.

10/05/2025: Food was tasty, nice that they have classics on the menu. The menu does cost excessively for the dishes served (parma ham, pasta, tortellini soup, etc). The courses arrive on the table in rapid succession. Restaurant is a bit austere. The matching wines are really fantastic!

03/05/2025: We found this place a bit by chance... passing through. The quality of the food was very good: we had an appetizer with tigelle and cold cuts, two first courses of fresh pasta and a second course. The pasta is definitely homemade and very delicate. The only complaint is that the prices are a little approx. in our opinion re for the area (outside Modena) and the quantities (satisfactory but not "abundant"). The location is very nice and the service is very attentive.

24/05/2025: Updated to May 2025 and increased the rating. An excellent appetizer, culaccia and cheese, a plate of tagliatelle with ham, truly delicious. Also the tortelli with butter and sage, excellent. Very pleasant crostini, a sparkling pignoletto, coffee and a good zuppa inglese. More than fair price. Recommended. The place organizes evenings with music and high-level artists. The place is very pleasant, kind and helpful whoever comes to the table. In the nice weather, the possibility of eating outside, under the porch. PS wifi perfectly working

01/06/2025: I am not usually given to reviews but am moved to post this one for two reasons: first, because it was the best meal of my life; second, because I can’t let the previous two reviews stand. The menu is a sort of “Bottura’s Greatest Hits” combined with a few current numbers - and what hits they are! Extraordinary inventiveness, concentrated flavour and moreishness on plate after beautifully crafted plate. Some - like “Five Ages of Parmigiano Reggiano in Different Textures and Temperatures” - are a paradox of subtlety and power. Unforgettable. The evening was presented by an enthusiastic and friendly staff and made even better by the fun table we shared with delightful folks from the US. Perfect.

26/05/2025: Never experienced something like this. Like Massimo's meals, the experience is perfectly balanced between luxury and authentic warmth. Lara's presence just makes everything that much more special. Would recommend and go back in a heart beat.

26/05/2025: We're on vacation in Molina di Ledro. We've eaten at Al Lago several times. All the dishes are lovingly prepared, the pizzas are amazing, and the wines are wonderful. The service is very friendly, helpful, and prompt. Definitely worth a visit!

19/04/2025: location esteticamente molto bella, personale simpatico tuttavia prestate attenzione agli upgrade delle scelte ( si ordina un tagliere normale eti portano quello piu costoso del menu' senza consenso), non PERMETTEVI DI RICHIEDERE PORZIONI ABBONDANTI... nel caso preparatevi a pagare tre piatti di riso al culatello perche la porizone abbondante non esiste.. o meglio due porzioni vengono addebitate al prezzo di tre porzioni ... ma voi a cena siete solo due ...... la colazione invece ... lascia spazio alla fame

22/03/2025: Cozy room but compared to the gourmet experience of the restaurant, expectations were a little high for the rooms which are perhaps a little more "dated" in the details especially in the bathroom! Friendly and professional staff! Castelvetro fascinating town, a wonderful discovery!

05/05/2025: Nothing to say except that they do everything: everything needed to make customers feel at ease. Available, precise, friendly, professional. And even for those who don't eat pizza they still give the opportunity to consume the highest quality raw materials.
