11/07/2026: We stopped for dinner, everything was excellent, and the staff was friendly and efficient. Gnocco fritto with Parma ham, passatelli with fresh sauce, roast beef and potato chips, and mascarpone cream: everything was delicious and light.

28/06/2026: I've been there a couple of times, and the food isn't bad. The first time, though, 24 euros for a grilled meat platter with four pieces of meat seemed a bit steep, and oh well... the second time, the food was still pretty good, but the decaf coffee was just rubbish. My coffee at home is better. It's not 5 stars, but 3 would be too harsh, so somewhere in between.

16/05/2026: We went on a Saturday evening with a group of friends and children. We chose the pizza tour, but it took us over an hour to start eating the pizzas, and the bacon was everywhere, even on a vegetarian one. The taste, I'm sorry to say, was non-existent. It was a terrible mess with children coming from various places scattered around the one we were at, and we spent a lot for having eaten just a few slices of pizza each. €77 for three of us seemed really excessive to me.

01/07/2026: Very good, well-topped pizza. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, the dining room is very warm and basic. With a few improvements, it could become a truly top-notch restaurant. I still recommend it.

23/11/2025: Always a good choice... tonight, double-cooked octopus and tuna tataki, accompanied by a Franciacorta Saten. Highly recommended. Returned today, November 21, and some small flaws arose in the service (the Chateaubriand plate wasn't brought, the bottle of Ripasso wasn't opened to let it breathe, and the dessert knife and fork were requested twice). Tortellini weren't exceptional (a bit lacking in filling and overcooked by a minute). Desserts need revisiting. The rest was good, as usual.

13/07/2026: Dinner with friends...very nice and pleasant location. The meat and zabaglione dessert were delicious.

10/07/2026: The Centrale is right in front of Formigine Castle. The occasion of July with the love I want you for... where we also saw the Danzaland dance show. Formigine was certainly crowded, but they found us a spot at the Centrale for a pre-dinner drink. What can I say? The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was good.

26/07/2026: Disappointing wedding planning: minimal portions, awkwardness, and forgotten details. Not recommended. Review: We attended a wedding at the Nero Balsamico Restaurant in Casinalbo with a group of about fifty people, but unfortunately, the event organization and management were decidedly disappointing. Upon arrival, the welcome was completely lacking: no one told us where to go, leaving us confused until we discovered we had to go upstairs. This welcome was immediately uncomfortable, especially for those with small children. Main points of criticism: Disappointing food and portions: The portions were truly meager and everything was minimal, completely unexpected for a wedding reception. Incredibly, even the baked potatoes ran out and we were told there were no more for everyone. Given the small portions, we, as guests, were forced to ask for extra food, paying for it separately. As guests, we don't know the total amount spent by the newlyweds to make a direct quality/price comparison, but the overall quality was unsatisfactory and meager. Furthermore, the wine selection was limited. Missed cake cutting: A major disappointment and source of considerable embarrassment for all of us guests was the dessert service: there was no traditional cake cutting. We had the slices delivered pre-cut by the waiters directly to our table, which greatly annoyed the newlyweds as well. Service and comfort: The only credit for the table goes to the young man who served us: despite the precarious service, he showed great willingness and was very helpful. The air conditioning inside was definitely too high. There was also no option to play music. Positive aspects: The venue is well-maintained and has a beautiful outdoor garden. Free and very convenient outdoor parking. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, although quite a distance from the upstairs dining room. At the end of the day, following the inevitable complaints, the owner (or his representative) offered a discount to the newlyweds. However, the embarrassment and inconvenience lingered. For the management of such a significant event, I absolutely cannot recommend this venue.

15/05/2026: The price was very reasonable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was typical Italian with lots of sweets. The coffee was very good. We didn't visit the bistro. The room was functionally furnished and a little worn, but very clean. The beds were comfortable. The walls are a bit thin. There was plenty of free parking. The hotel is somewhat secluded. The garden and terrace are very nice and well-maintained. Overall, the price/performance ratio is good. We'll be back.
