13/12/2024: My go-to place for the tortelloni marathon. For almost the entire year, except perhaps December, January and February, you can eat outside on the sunny porch. It always relaxes and satisfies me. I go with my dog, welcomed every time with pleasure by the managers. The cuisine is simple Modenese cuisine, but what more do you want than simple Modenese cuisine? Very recommended.

24/03/2025: pazzesco!!!! Allora volevo da sempre recarmi in questo ristorante di cui avevo sentito parlare molto bene e, in effetti, è stata una conferma!!!! Ho ordinato il tonno rosso siciliano con scorzette d'arancia e finocchio beh che dire una vera prelibatezza, poi un altro piatto che mi ha colpita moltissimo è stato il dessert....ovvero il cannolo siciliano,il quale era veramente una goduria completa!!!!

24/02/2025: Cena raffinata con grande attenzione alla qualità delle materie prime. Grande attenzione al servizio senza glutine riservatomi dallo chef. Cannolo siciliano a dir poco strepitoso come d' altronde tutti gli altri piatti serviti. Personale di sale gentile disponibile e attento alle ns esigenze. Assolutamente da ritornare!

07/02/2025: Siamo andati a cena una sera, posto sempre molto accogliente e caloroso un pó fastidioso se c’è clientela con timbro di voce alto abbiamo preso delle polpette di pesce molto buone e appetitose, frittura tonno alla griglia e frittura Buonissimi, Alessandro il proprietario ci ha consigliato una bottiglia di vino nuova molto buona oltre le aspettative per finire i dolci stratosferici!!! Che dire lo consiglio vivamente… A+++++

09/02/2025: It is the third time that I have had the pleasure of eating in this typical tavern and with great pleasure I can say that it never disappoints and the dishes are truly excellent. Credit to the gnocco and tigelle accompanied by an excellent platter of cured meats and cheeses. We also tried tortellini in broth, just like grandma's. I recommend this little place at the foot of the Castelvetro fortress to all those who want to taste wonderful traditional dishes.

05/04/2025: Very good food, the girls who served us were very nice and kind; if it weren't for the gentleman "perhaps the owner", who at the end of dinner, made us scream when he asked for a couple of bottles of water; it was very clear that he was pretending not to hear us since there were 2/3 tables left and it must not have even been 11pm. I got up to call him, he looked annoyed and didn't say a word. We felt really uncomfortable. The icing on the cake when it comes to the bill. Instead of giving us the total receipt for 4 people with the items of the courses and the individual prices written on it, he leaves us a receipt each with only the amount written without any items. We will definitely not be returning.

22/02/2025: Enchanting location, only used the restaurant on the way back from a ski mountaineering trip. Excellent quality of raw materials, impeccable service, prices in line with the dishes tasted. The platter of cold cuts and cheeses (caggiagione) alone is worth the stop👍

14/02/2025: We returned after two years for a winter weekend, I can only confirm, as in the summer, that the place is really worth it ... both for the location and for the restaurant, but there is no lack of kindness and hospitality!!

09/03/2025: Ho dato due volte la possibilità a questo ristorante di ricredermi ma, non è andata a buon fine. La prima volta gli antipasti e i primi sono arrivati quasi freddi, chiedo un calice di un determinato vino io e, un calice di un altro vino il mio compagno. Il calice del mio compagno arriva, il mio invece non era possibile servirlo in quanto era guasto il Coravin (quindi ho bevuto un calice di un vino “sostitutivo” che non desideravo). La seconda volta un po’ meglio ma ho notato trattamenti di favore tra un commensale e l’altro e un servizio un po’ sbrigativo. Non me ne abbia il proprietario però devo esprimere il mio parere sincero. Non ho digerito la super cazzola del Coravin rotto per non aprire la bottiglia che era indicata nella lista calici. Saluti

25/02/2025: Siamo stati io e mia moglie nei giorni scorsi . Bellissima location all interno del bel borgo di Castelvetro . Siamo stati accolti dal proprietario con gentilezza e professionalità . Abbiamo iniziato con un antipasto di assaggi di parmigiano in varie stagionatura con aceto balsamico, per continuare con un favoloso risotto carnaroli alla crema di parmigiano 30 mesi e balsamico . Abbiamo proseguito con uno stinco cotto nella birra con senape e miele che era tenerissimo , un burro e un sapore eccezionale. Come dolci abbiamo preso la famosa torta Barozzi e il cremoso di pistacchio. Il tutto accompagnato da un ottimo lambrusco . Ci torneremo sicuramente. Merita il viaggio anche per vedere il borgo

10/04/2025: Title: Experience below expectations Review: The location is undoubtedly well-kept, with a pleasant environment, ample parking and a suggestive view of the geese and the owned vinegar factory. However, the service left a lot to be desired: the welcome was cold and detached, and the interaction with what appeared to be the owner was unfriendly, to the point of making me feel uncomfortable in front of my guests. The food was good, but the final bill was not in line with the quantity and quality of what was consumed. In general, the quality-price ratio did not seem satisfactory to me. Unfortunately I would not recommend this experience to anyone looking for attentive service consistent with expectations.
