27/01/2026: Damn these Bolognese people! We had two lovely tigellozze and a spritzzone that we both devoured in five minutes (delicious). Both the waiters I was lucky enough to see were amazing, and DAYUM, what a location 🙏😔 (Recommended, the space inside isn't very big, but outside they take everything back) I recommend it 🤭💞

25/03/2026: A typical trattoria serving authentic Bolognese cuisine, as well as exceptional grilled meats. The food is excellent. We're regulars. The atmosphere is simple but comfortable: recommended for those who want to enjoy authentic local dishes.

18/03/2026: We've been going to this butcher shop for 30 years now. They have everything, and it's top-quality. When we need to make unusual requests, just call one or two days in advance and they'll be happy to accommodate. I hadn't eaten kidney or sweetbreads (mainly made up of thyme, but sometimes pancreas and salivary glands) for years. Thanks to Agnoletto, I've gotten over that craving.

20/12/2025: We've been customers for a while; we used to be happy and trusted. Since they renovated, you have to be careful. A few days ago, along with the meat, we ordered ravioli balanzoni. It's a shame they dumped more than half of them on us, which were now visibly not fresh and smelled of stale mortadella (I'm attaching a photo of fresh ravioli vs. faded and stale ravioli). We noticed this at home the next day because they'd cleverly hidden them underneath the package. It's really difficult and tiring to always be on the lookout, which is a shame because we'd had no problems with fresh pasta until now.

03/06/2026: At the gates of Dozza Castle lies a simple restaurant with slightly dated furnishings, but in a wonderful location with an exceptional panoramic view. For an aperitif or coffee, you can sit in the shade of some trees on a cool, breezy terrace, overlooking the hills and the massive castle walls—a spectacular sight. For lunch, you can sit either in the large dining room or in the adjacent rooms with huge windows overlooking the valley. We had lunch with typical Bolognese crescenti (fried dumplings), called gnocco fritto in Modena, and a delicious assortment of cured meats. The service, perhaps due to a misunderstanding, wasn't exceptional, but it was friendly and very kind, with a touch of typical Bolognese joviality. Overall, a nice experience. I expected to spend a little less, but not too much. Access to the bathrooms was really inconvenient; I don't know how a disabled person could manage two flights of narrow, steep stairs.

31/05/2026: Excellent experience, good food in a beautiful medieval setting. The mutton was truly excellent. The wine selection is extensive and excellent. Highly recommended.

04/05/2026: Excellent pizza. Since we had a bit of a drive to get there, it was lukewarm when we arrived, but the dough was excellent and not too greasy, and the toppings were nice. Very friendly staff.

17/02/2026: For me, this is the best pizzeria in Sasso Marconi. The pizza is truly delicious! The dough is light and crispy to perfection, and the ingredients are always fresh and high-quality. The staff is also very friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. If you want to eat good pizza in Sasso Marconi, I absolutely recommend it!
