15/03/2026: I went for a birthday party where they had a fixed menu for €35. Service was a bit chaotic; we had to ask for water and bread several times. The food was mediocre, the platter was good, but the tigelle were very few. The first course was very poor, the gramigna pasta with ragù was not good at all, and the portions were tiny for what we paid. If you like loud music, there's a room with a live singer. I personally didn't like it during dinner, but we started eating very late, so I imagine it's usually served after dinner.

08/02/2026: Poor service. At 7:00 PM, 10 of us asked to stop for a quick aperitif; with the place empty, the annoyed manager complained that we were filling up the place. Five of us stopped anyway, and the wines were presented on a blackboard that... "If you can read, they're divided into whites, reds... huh! Simple, right?" My glass was awful. We got up at 7:30 PM with the place still empty. They were as sour as their wine. If only they'd lessen the swagger, and if these two have problems with each other, they should get therapy. AMEN

05/04/2026: A bit strange place.. they didn’t offer a Menu card ..instead they convinced us to take the Antipasti…and they offered a 10 different plates of vegetables ..some raw and some grilled…post that our appetite to eat was lost…we came to Italy to taste some local specialties..not to eat vegetable raw and grilled…the spirit was lost…to our surprise they charges 160 Euro .. we were family of 4 …2 adults ..2 children…I read similar comments in the review …I can confirm that…there are superb restaurants that offer great for that price that we enjoyed later….if you go here ask for Menu …if they don’t provide ..I suggest you leave..otherwise they will surprise with a heavy bill

05/04/2026: A truly unique restaurant. From the outside, it's very unassuming. But at the table, you feel like you're part of a large Italian family's home. The antipasti are served in abundance. You definitely need to come hungry. Despite this, the quality of the dishes is top-notch. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Be sure to save room for dessert. They offer a wide variety of options, each one better than the last. We had a wonderful evening.

11/09/2025: Passing by on our motorcycle, we decided to stop at this restaurant. We were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff, and we had lunch outside overlooking the lake. The menu offers a variety of dishes, but we chose their specialty, crescentine with cured meats and cheeses, and I must say the portions were pleasantly generous! Everything was delicious. The only complaint I have is that the crescentine were a little greasy, but that's a minor point. I'm just mentioning it for the record, but it certainly won't keep us from returning. We were also pleased with the price.

17/12/2025: I've been to this bar, where I go quite often. Last night I ordered a gin and tonic with Bull Dog gin, listed as 7 euros on the online menu, but was charged 10 euros because, according to the cashier/bartender, the menu wasn't up to date, despite my complaints. Who knows what else is wrong with the menu? Be careful of the apparently unclear prices. Evidently, the customer isn't always right, despite the obvious. The drinks were good, though.

12/10/2025: Everything was amazing! We came two days in a row because the atmosphere, the welcome, the service, the food and the cocktails were so good! I highly recommend this place, and I will return without any hesitation! Thank you very much!!!

12/03/2026: I went here for dinner. We were in the room below where there was a large table, and we couldn't talk because they were very noisy. Despite this, the food was very good, especially the cold cuts, but the service was a bit slow.

01/03/2026: I went yesterday with three of my friends. The place is nice, we were seated right away, but the staff was a bit grumpy, except for one very kind blonde waitress who lost our order. We ordered: lasagna alla bolognese, which I didn't like at all; it had a strange flavor and wasn't creamy at all; tortellini in broth, very salty broth, pasta a little undercooked, but otherwise not bad; tagliatelle with mushrooms, very salty and almost raw; and finally a dish whose name I can't remember, a stuffed pasta, but this one wasn't bad. Leaving the place, and to this day, our clothes were filled with a pungent, disgusting odor. It's not the place's direct fault, but I think it's to be expected, so a cloakroom might be a solution. Unfortunately, it's an inconvenience, especially for us tourists. Unfortunately, I don't feel like recommending the place, especially based on how we ate.

23/01/2026: Trattoria Amelia is one of those hillside trattorias that makes you want to return even before you've left, a place where time has stood still since the 1970s and where you immediately feel at home. The atmosphere is simple, authentic, and unfussy, but it truly warms the heart, especially if you love authentic Bolognese cuisine.

04/03/2026: After several reviews from friends, I decided to come here with my colleagues to try more. We tried the pizza straccia, although the stracciatella wasn't very rich and dense, but rather very runny, and the prosciutto was a bit too salty. A cheap pizza with mozzarella, sausage, Genoese pesto, cherry tomatoes, and basil was not bad. The pizza dough was very good, but perhaps the combinations or the ingredients needed rethinking. Then I came to try the tagliatelle with ragù, and this one wasn't quite up to par: the ragù seemed store-bought and honestly, very cheap and flavorless. The gramigna with sausage was a bit better here, but still decent. The cotoletta alla bolognese was average, even if a bit creamy. The staff, depending on the waiter, was sometimes good, with one waiter being less than friendly and the other two being quite friendly. The prices were fair, and the location was nice, in the hills.

16/03/2026: We had a wonderful dinner. Garganelli al grottino and husbands pizza were yummy. Also, delizia al Simone dessert. Plus generous portion of wine, beer, and bread. Highly recommend giving this family owned restaurant a try!
