16/03/2026: We had a wonderful dinner. Garganelli al grottino and husbands pizza were yummy. Also, delizia al Simone dessert. Plus generous portion of wine, beer, and bread. Highly recommend giving this family owned restaurant a try!

02/09/2025: We visited this place with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing in many ways. The portions were decidedly small for the price, especially compared to the generous portions we saw being served at other tables around us. We had the distinct impression that we were being penalized in some way, perhaps because of our Southern accent? I sincerely hope I'm wrong, but the difference was too obvious to ignore. Furthermore, the service was slow and inattentive: we had to wait a long time to order, and the waiters seemed distracted and uninterested in non-regulars. The atmosphere was cold, and guests were treated poorly. It's a shame, because the place has potential, but we won't be returning.

04/03/2026: After several reviews from friends, I decided to come here with my colleagues to try more. We tried the pizza straccia, although the stracciatella wasn't very rich and dense, but rather very runny, and the prosciutto was a bit too salty. A cheap pizza with mozzarella, sausage, Genoese pesto, cherry tomatoes, and basil was not bad. The pizza dough was very good, but perhaps the combinations or the ingredients needed rethinking. Then I came to try the tagliatelle with ragù, and this one wasn't quite up to par: the ragù seemed store-bought and honestly, very cheap and flavorless. The gramigna with sausage was a bit better here, but still decent. The cotoletta alla bolognese was average, even if a bit creamy. The staff, depending on the waiter, was sometimes good, with one waiter being less than friendly and the other two being quite friendly. The prices were fair, and the location was nice, in the hills.

10/11/2025: A typical, very welcoming location. Nothing is left to chance, from the daily specials to the varied menu, with excellent quality from appetizers to dessert. The wine list is also excellent. The staff is attentive and friendly.

06/11/2025: I liked it; the menu wasn't overly extensive, but it was OK. The waiter was super friendly. Excellent wine selection and good ingredients. I'd say the prices are quite high; I expected to pay a little less. There are only a few tables, so it's best to reserve. There are also some outside if you want. Pulpo a la gallega, a completely canned dish.

04/04/2026: DO NOT COME HERE!!! They’re so rude! Especially the owner, literally shouting at everyone and the employees. Was rushing us to order, we didn’t know the exact names of what we wanted so we were like asking, she was shouting at us and across the whole store. So disgusting. Also saw her shout at this couple for not knowing that they couldn’t bring outside food but they had drinks. You don’t need to deal with people like that.

31/03/2026: A small café serving classic Italian pastries and coffee, along with a large selection of wines. The strawberry maritozzo is delicious, and so is the coffee! Friendly, smiling staff 😊👌🏼

17/02/2026: For me, this is the best pizzeria in Sasso Marconi. The pizza is truly delicious! The dough is light and crispy to perfection, and the ingredients are always fresh and high-quality. The staff is also very friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. If you want to eat good pizza in Sasso Marconi, I absolutely recommend it!

16/02/2026: Good morning, I haven't used this pizzeria yet, but I think few people care about their customers like the owner does. We're the security guards stationed at Monte Mario, a place with no address or number. The owner came to inspect the place to see if home delivery was possible. We appreciated the gesture and will clearly be returning customers. Thank you.

01/10/2025: A bar near a gas station. The path from the road to the entrance is a sort of rubber mat. To access the entrance, there's a small step, perhaps difficult for wheelchair users. The bar is equipped with mirrors, tables, and old, rickety chairs. A wide selection of pastries, accompanied by the friendly barista or owner. The toilet has no seat. The coffee tastes average. There was a large influx of customers, mostly municipal employees on duty. I was supposed to sit at a table, and the manager gave me a hot latte and the pasta, which I had to carry, one by one, to the table and back. When the owner or barista arrived for work, the tray also came out after my second order. So, the barista was much more humane and empathetic than the bartender.
