11/03/2026: The restaurant looks very inviting. The waitress was friendly and brought us to another indoor table upstairs but no one came to take order till we were about to leave. We ordered the pasta n cold cuts. Food was quite good. Service could be better.

09/03/2026: Beautiful location in the heart of Bologna's historic center. We had lunch outside, which is very quaint. We ordered a charcuterie and cheese platter with two glasses of wine. Everything was good, but the quality of the charcuterie was better at other restaurants in Bologna.

06/11/2025: I had booked a table through The Fork on October 14th for dinner on Saturday, November 1st. The night before, October 31st, the restaurant canceled my reservation at the last minute, leaving me completely without alternatives: all other restaurants were now fully booked. This was truly unprofessional behavior that ruined my weekend. If it were possible, I would give it zero stars.

04/11/2025: Pescaria - Bologna is a restaurant you absolutely must try. The dishes we ordered were excellent. The tuna tataki, in particular, is one of the best dishes I've ever eaten. The staff is very friendly and helpful, as is the atmosphere you feel when you enter the restaurant. Go there, you won't regret it.

14/03/2026: Giving one star wouldn't be fair. The charcuterie board was good, and the wine list was good. It's a shame about the problems with the main courses. We ordered 2 entrecôtes and 4 cutlets. The 2 entrecôtes and 2 cutlets arrived, the other 2 were forgotten (the order was taken by the owner). The 2 missing ones arrived completely different from the other 2, half the size of the others, and full of nerves. I asked the waiter why they were different, and he said he'd check with the kitchen and never let me know. It's fine that we had a reservation for 10 PM (but we still arrived at 9:40 PM), but if that's not possible or you have to eat badly, it's better not to accept the reservation, especially if a table will still set you back €400.

23/09/2025: You'd never guess a place like this was practically downtown. We ate well, but the desserts were truly overpriced.

17/09/2025: A truly unique bistro! The setting is stunning, with a charming and colorful atmosphere that makes every moment special. The staff is extremely helpful, always smiling and attentive to every need. The food is excellent, with attention to detail and prepared with quality ingredients. A perfect place for both a dinner with friends and a romantic evening. Highly recommended!

20/01/2026: A truly quality experience. The location is excellent; everything is incredibly close and within walking distance. The property is fantastic, a blend of history, research, and design. You can feel the attention to detail. They welcomed us with great professionalism and friendliness. We will definitely be back! Everything was wonderful!

30/03/2026: The bathrooms are shabby and poorly maintained, poorly cleaned, and the furnishings are shabby. What will the kitchen be like? Who knows... I wouldn't recommend it.

04/03/2026: The ambiance is unexpected given the location, but it's a pleasant discovery. The entrance is charming, and the receptionist was very helpful and attentive in assisting us during service. The outdoor area is very beautiful and well-maintained, while the main dining room is very dated and rarely attended to, but the food is excellent at an extremely reasonable price.

01/03/2026: A very quaint place, with plants, aquariums, and Chinese ornaments. Very unique service, definitely worth a try! Good food, though the second courses are better than the first courses. Parking isn't convenient.

14/02/2026: A very well-kept, discreet place. A vast selection of delicacies, and above all, a place to unwind. All this in the beautiful setting of Piazza Filopanti, which I always enjoy seeing.

23/02/2026: A wonderful weekend. Il Barone Rosso is nestled in the Bolognese countryside, just a stone's throw from Bologna and Modena. The farmhouse is beautiful and has a quaint restaurant where we ate amazing pizza while listening to live music. The room was spacious and equipped with every comfort. The owners were super kind and helpful. I will definitely be back.
