02/02/2026: RUINED SUNDAY We had booked this restaurant for a family Sunday to celebrate my daughter's graduation, having just returned from Milan. Having fond memories of the place, I called ahead to specifically ask if they catered to celiac disease and lactose intolerance. The answer was clear: "Yes, no problem." Once we arrived, however, the situation was the opposite. When ordering, we mentioned the intolerances and were arrogantly told: "You can sort it out yourself, just avoid what you see on your plate." When we asked for specific ingredients (since butter and dairy products aren't always visible), we received rude and superficial replies, demonstrating complete ignorance on the subject. Result: my daughter was only able to eat an octopus salad. Added to this was the truly sloppy service: a bottle of wine ordered from the menu wasn't available, the alternative was poured directly into glasses without tasting, and one of the glasses even contained water, which the wine was carelessly poured into. Meanwhile, other diners were served appetizers of questionable quality, while my daughter received none. When we asked for gluten-free bread, we were told they "never bought it." At that point, we asked for the bill (€130) and left. The problem isn't the price, but the unacceptable way they treat customers, especially when it comes to allergies and intolerances. We had called ahead precisely to avoid this, but the restaurant demonstrated utter superficiality and disrespect. I almost never write negative reviews, but I do so to spare others this terrible experience. Ignorance, incompetence, and arrogance ruined our Sunday. Absolutely avoid.

01/12/2025: We arrived at 4:00 PM, were seated, and didn't have a long wait even though the place was busy. We ordered two first courses (1 linguine with clams and 1 linguine with seafood), which were good, but the mussels were cold and the clams were very small. For the second course, we ordered a calamari platter for two (we specified "abundant"), and we received a normal amount of calamari, not too small but not too large, and a nice plate of mixed salad. We went to pay, and the lady at the table charged us for two calamari platters (we'd only ordered one, but at most she'll charge me a little more because I specified "abundant," not a whole one) and a plate of salad for the "modest" price of 10 euros, which I hadn't even ordered. I specified the items I ordered and ate, and the lady replied that she had ordered two fried items even though I'd asked for one. Then I checked the receipt and found the salad I hadn't ordered. As is my custom, I paid, thanked her, and never returned, without a fuss.

28/12/2025: New management... I don't know about the restaurant, but a tea at a table near the entrance costs €7.00 plus a €2 service charge. Prices aren't displayed.

15/03/2026: The restaurant is great. We visited the restaurant on Saturday. We celebrated the birthday of our Italian friends there. We liked everything. The atmosphere is very good. The prices are reasonable. Delicious dishes. The music and the performance of Italian songs certainly pleasantly surprised us... everyone in the hall sang and danced.

02/09/2025: Ordered pizza for delivery... as a restaurant owner and a customer, I can say you have a long way to go. Terrible dough, cooked at too high a temperature because it was burnt on the top and raw on the inside, tomato sauce that needs reworking... it bothers me because pizza is one of the easiest things to make... to get it like this, you have to do it on purpose... never again.

26/09/2025: I'll share my experience. I'm a frequent customer at this bar since I work nearby, and lately I've noticed a notable change in prices... When there's a blonde lady at the counter, the prices go up, while when there are young men, the prices remain the same as always. I thought it was appropriate to highlight this, since a regular customer would realize this. I hope it's just a mistake and that the lady doesn't know all the prices.

25/09/2025: Few people talk about it... what a shame. The staff are friendly and helpful, the place is very comfortable to relax and let the "devils" run wild in safety, and the space is very large. I was pleasantly surprised by the appetizers that accompany the aperitif: delicious, plentiful, and mostly "different" from those at the usual bars. Well done... we'll definitely be back.

Another absolute highlight is the cuisine, simply exceptional: dishes prepared with fresh, authentic, and traditional ingredients, expressing the local area with great quality and flavor. Breakfast also deserves a special mention, with homemade desserts made daily, prepared with care and passion, just like in the olden days. Behind all this, you can clearly see the hand and heart of Giovanna, a true hostess, who manages the property with love, dedication, and great professionalism. The result is an authentic and special atmosphere, made even more precious by a truly stellar staff working in perfect harmony. A place you'll gladly return to and one I recommend to anyone seeking a stay filled with genuine hospitality, excellent cuisine, and meticulous attention to detail. My sincere congratulations to the entire team.

19/10/2025: Don’t do it. As said in other reviews, this business is greedy. A reservation was made by our tour guide for lunch, when we got there the waiter asked if we were having just drinks. We said we intended to have lunch. We ordered drinks and realized my husband didn’t care for the menu. We said we changed our minds and wanted just drinks. The waiter said if we didn’t order lunch they would charge us 100€ for the little boat that took us from our tour boat to the restaurant (less than 50 feet). He said it was the owner’s policy. We had to eat lunch there. I also heard an older couple at the table beside us ask if they could split a risotto. The waiter said no. This place was not packed, and we were in fact the first people in the place. We told our tour company who said that little boat transfer was included in our tour cost and vowed to never recommend them again. Terrible service.

13/01/2026: Unacceptable order. This time I ordered a turkey leg, which cost €15, and it arrived raw on the inside. The problem wasn't visible from the outside because the skin completely covered the meat, which is why I took a bite without realizing it, seriously risking illness. I decided to give the restaurant one last chance, even though I'd received undercooked white meat in the past. I tried calling the restaurant twice to let them know, but the number was unavailable. The situation is extremely serious: chicken and turkey are extremely dangerous if not cooked properly. The potatoes were also heavy and difficult to digest. Total lack of attention to food safety. A terrible experience. The photo isn't even very clear, but when I peeled the meat off the bone, the blood-red veins were still visible.
