13/01/2026: Unacceptable order. This time I ordered a turkey leg, which cost €15, and it arrived raw on the inside. The problem wasn't visible from the outside because the skin completely covered the meat, which is why I took a bite without realizing it, seriously risking illness. I decided to give the restaurant one last chance, even though I'd received undercooked white meat in the past. I tried calling the restaurant twice to let them know, but the number was unavailable. The situation is extremely serious: chicken and turkey are extremely dangerous if not cooked properly. The potatoes were also heavy and difficult to digest. Total lack of attention to food safety. A terrible experience. The photo isn't even very clear, but when I peeled the meat off the bone, the blood-red veins were still visible.

20/07/2025: Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima serata, per iniziare prima della carne ci hanno offerto una serie di antipasti davvero tanto apprezzati, la carne consigliata da loro ottima. Lo staff disponibile e il conto davvero onesto ,molto consigliato.

28/12/2025: Only someone who doesn't understand a thing about cooking, and probably not even about good food, can give "Ristorante Il Gambero" a star. Here, you "eat really well," but above all, you eat with an open mind: you have to let yourself be guided by the chef's suggestions, who has a personal, unconventional vision and—not to mention—is also "very nice in his own way." This is not the place for those who put on airs, for those who want to be pampered every three minutes, or for those who mistake obsessive attention for quality. If you need constant confirmation or to feel like the center of the universe, "look elsewhere." You come here to eat, to trust, and to appreciate authentic cuisine, without unnecessary frills. The "value for money" is excellent, a rare thing these days, and the overall experience is more satisfying than many restaurants that are "starred" only by reviews. Recommended for those with "a good palate, curiosity, and a modicum of self-irony." Everyone else can just keep giving stars at random.

04/01/2026: It was one of the few open restaurants.The food was really good. I had Ravioli with cod. The waitress was so kind to tell us from the beginning the service was gong to be slow.

31/12/2025: I wouldnt recommend this place. No atmosphere at all. Inappropriate music. Basic food for high price in off season Ordered wine from list but was not available. Service unfriendly and then when I was paying, something I have never experienced in all my travels I was asked „ arent you going to give a tip“ .Unbelievable.

21/10/2025: Great place .....Lorenzo and Riccardo provided great service and hospitality...the breakfast was first class and servers were attentive but not intrusive....the grounds were beautiful and the outdoor pools were excellent ....especially enjoyed the limoncello at the outdoor bar area after dinner....the eggplant parmesan was excellent as was the ragu.....thanks for a memorable visit!!

21/09/2025: Good hotel with friendly and service-minded people. The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but the hotel had a shuttle bus which compensated for this.

20/01/2026: Expertise, quality and convenience

20/01/2026: I've known this rotisserie all my life, since I was a university student, since the 1980s, basically. The city is now overrun by tourists, and it's impossible to eat peacefully even in the worst restaurant, or pizzeria/trattoria, in the historic center. So one Saturday, after walking up and down the entire Decumani without finding a place to eat, at least not in the places I liked, I had an epiphany. I remembered the lasagna (the real one, not the Emilian one) at "Vaco e Presse" and I told myself, even if I had to eat it in a tray or on the counter, it's fine, but there I discovered, after more than 40 years, that there's a small indoor dining room where you can sit down to eat. There was no lasagna, but I was attracted by the Genovese, and my wife by the sausages and broccoli rabe, as shown in the attached photos. The first was very good, and the second was acceptable. The quality/price ratio was unbeatable. I don't think there are many other places of this kind in Naples with such a wide selection and good quality food at very fair prices.

12/03/2026: A real disappointment! Extremely high prices (a Margherita pizza costs €13 and a glass of wine €10), average/poor pizza, and rude staff. Never again!

11/03/2026: The pizza is delicious, of course, in Naples. The service is expensive, 28 euros for four people, so you have to know that. Is it worth it? It's a bit irritating when the staff stands there and stares at you constantly. You can also eat well at other places, and it's certainly cheaper.

05/07/2025: Siamo rimasti colpiti positivamente da questa pizzeria. Essendo emiliani e per la prima volta a Napoli abbiamo scelto casualmente il locale e siamo rimasti soddisfatti delle varie tipologie di pizza assaggiate. Ottimo servizio e prezzo onesto.

27/06/2025: Ci ha accolti la gentilezza e professionalità di Raffaele, accomodati all'interno di una sala che sembra raccontare ai clienti il carattere di Napoli. Consigliati sapientemente abbiamo scelto una frittura alici, calamari e gamberi accompagnati da una delicata maionese al lime che ci ha stupiti. A seguire la pizza che era da provare doverosamente...e che vi dico? Una poesia! Consigliatissimo anche per il rapporto qualità eccezionale/prezzo. 08/02/2026: If you're in Monteruscello and want to eat well, hearty, and without frills, Polli e Contorni is definitely worth a visit. This rotisserie offers much more than just the classic fare: chicken is the star of the show, but the selection is surprisingly extensive and well-curated. In addition to chicken and turkey, you can find both chicken and pork sausages, trachie, and tasty slices of meat, all cooked with care and flavor. A special mention goes to the grilled chicken, offered in unique versions like chicken in wine or chili pepper. The chicken in wine, in particular, is truly excellent, juicy, and fragrant, a choice I recommend without hesitation. The baked potatoes are also excellent, flavorful and well-cooked, the perfect side dish. The panuozzo selection is also very interesting, offered here in a decidedly oversized format, designed for those who are truly hungry. For the bravest (or hungriest) there's even an extra-large version, a true gastronomic challenge for several people. The venue is unique and well-structured on multiple levels, with a splendid rooftop terrace that makes the experience even more enjoyable, especially on mild evenings. On Friday nights, the atmosphere is made even more fun by karaoke: a well-organized event with a talented and engaging entertainer. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and helpful, a detail that makes all the difference. The small parking lot is also convenient. In conclusion, Polli e Contorni is a casual yet refined place, ideal for eating well, in abundance, and with a smile. I recommend a little more attention to the organization of the restrooms. Overall, recommended.

08/03/2026: I've known this location for several years. I was used to it and was guaranteed a safe bet under the old management. But unfortunately, there's a new management that, in my opinion, needs to be reconsidered. The bathrooms lack soap and hot water. We order a Margherita for my son and a Cistecca Montese sandwich. The Margherita arrives, and we immediately notice that the mozzarella is floating in a centimeter of water. We call the waiter, have it remade, and explain the reason. He brings it back, this time with less water, but without basil (you can't see a Margherita without basil in Naples and the surrounding area). Cistecca Montese, I specify that instead of the melted cheese, I'm substituting scamorza. The sandwich arrives and I see that there's both melted cheese and scamorza—horrible! We remembered the children's playground much better. It was freezing down there, there were three or four air conditioners blasting at 30°C but you couldn't hear a thing. My son asks for his jacket to play in, that's all there is to it.

05/03/2026: With the new management, the service really needs to be overhauled. We waited more than two hours for the sandwiches... plus there was a pizza that arrived instead, it was a disaster right away. You asked and no one knew. They were at the mercy of the people who came and asked if anything had arrived and looked at each other... it's a shame because the sandwich was very good. I hope this is just the beginning...

03/01/2026: In less than a month, we went from 9 to 9.50, and even seemed unhappy with the €10 a sandwich. Great way to lose a regular customer.

21/12/2025: The only positive thing is that a Margherita still costs €4.50, and the fact that it has the usual raw tomato flavor is just a minor detail. The pizzas are average for a town that can't get any lower these days. Special mention for the classic frittatina, which, in addition to tasting of vinegar, also costs €3. It's ridiculous, and not even the best sit-down pizzeria is worth it. I'd remind the owners to always remember where they decided to open their business. The Mordidita is a no-go for me.

24/09/2025: Well-kept facility and clean sea, free showers (cold water). Parking is €6 for the whole stay, very good; two sun loungers are €30 at the end of September, a bit pricey. The beach is rocky: water shoes are required. Overall, beautiful!

03/09/2025: I was at this beach club the day before yesterday, intrigued by the positive reviews and their Instagram page, which convinced me to go. It's very nice, I must say, impeccably organized, everything very well-organized and cared for. I have nothing to complain about even the bar area. If I had to find a negative, it would be the "bathrooms"—they're comfortable and have all the amenities—but there are some customers who don't know what hygiene is here, let alone at home. Just one phrase: "Toilet bowls covered in urine." I don't blame the beach club... but they could be a little more careful about this. What else can I say? The underpass from the parking lot to the beach club is very convenient. I'll definitely be back.
