I was also very impressed by the rest of the staff: everyone was polite, respectful, and always available. A very pleasant experience, I'll gladly return.
14/06/2026: A great bar at Varco Carmine, inside the port of Naples...young and helpful staff...Sicilian pastries and a room for business lunches. Recommended!

09/08/2026: The staff is poorly organised in managing customers who receive their meal without being able to sit down. It's a rush to get a table even though there are only 6 tables, you never manage to sit down and to eat a salad for the modest sum of 15 euros it's not worth it.

21/08/2026: Average breakfast: the ricotta sfogliatella was good, but the cappuccino was overly sweet (as if sugar had been added or an overly sweet milk had been used). When asked to change it, the first waitress was polite, but another waiter, who arrived shortly after, asked for explanations in an indifferent and rude manner, causing the first waitress to immediately bring the receipt to the table. Working in the restaurant business requires a friendly and empathetic approach to customers, which was not the case here. Therefore, I would not recommend this bar.

19/07/2026: We happened upon this place by chance, ordered a croissant, two pancakes, and a crepe. The total cost was €18. The price isn't questioned, but the quality is extremely poor. The croissant was incredibly hard, and two pancakes looked like the ones in a bag that were supposed to be white Kinder Bueno, but were simply filled with Nutella and crumbled Kinder Bueno. A crepe was a strange color, stuck in your throat, and was too chewy. What can I say? We paid a fortune for four products of a quality that couldn't even be found in the worst croissant shops in Italy. I've been to many, but this one disappointed me terribly. Don't go there!

18/07/2026: It's a nice bar where we often sit as a group. Their prices are very competitive and the food is good; they bring a basket of hot, thinly sliced chips as soon as you sit down. We often have an interesting deal: the first drink is €7 and the rest for €3, available during the week. Another nice deal is a €10 food and drinks deal (I usually get a Margherita, which is truly excellent, not a given for a bar). The staff is truly exceptional; the owner really cares about his customers; he always makes you feel welcome, no matter how crowded. Plus, they've never asked me for reviews; I'm writing this because I care about this place, which has become a regular stop for our group.

30/07/2026: Every time I order pizza, it's always good on time and I can say that there's a pizzeria right next to me, but I don't go there because it's rubbery. Since I tried it at his place, I really like it and I recommend it!!!!!!!!!!

01/03/2026: I saw the good reviews and decided to check it out late one night. The place seemed a bit plain when we arrived and I almost changed my mind, but I'm happy that I didn't!
I just had a 1.5 eur cornetto and it was amazing. Best bang for buck that I've gotten for sweet pastry in a long time. Ignore appearances, this place is the real deal.
