The pasta with prawns was rich and creamy, and the lobster was perfectly cooked. Paired with a glass of wine, it made for a perfect meal. 10/10/2025: Positive experience at Ciro Salvo's 50 Kalò today. There was no wait, as they seated us right away (it was around 1 PM), and the pizzas were delivered in just 5 minutes. The bucatini frittata was excellent, as were the pizzas and their beers. Definitely worth returning!

29/10/2025: Tried this place because of the glowing Google comments, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. The atmosphere is lovely — elegant and welcoming, the kind of restaurant you really want to like. Sadly, the food fell far short. The ragu was overwhelmingly salty, burnt (despite their claim that it’s “intentional, according to their study”), and the entrées, though clearly aiming for sophistication, were dry and uninspired. A beautiful setting can’t quite rescue a disappointing meal. For the same price range for contemporary Italian cuisine , I’d recommend Terrazza Calabritto in the same area — much much better food and execution.

23/10/2025: On a scorchingly hot and sunny Sunday, this trendy restaurant in Portici proved to be a random, yet rewarding, refuge for the traveler about to visit the royal palace. The house-made fried dish of stuffed anchovies, brought to the table while waiting for the paccheri, was a fitting culinary debut. This was followed by the seafood pacchero, brought to the table in a dramatic fashion, even though only the lobster shell was present, which was also a great success. The glass of white wine proved to be the perfect accompaniment to the dishes. The homemade dessert was delicious and tasty. Polite and efficient service, fair price. Well done.
