I had great expectations but unfortunately was not my cup of tea. Fried pizza is good but the filling was disappointing. Majority of the starters was not available. Very average

Spectacular fried food shop, near the Naples waterfront.
I tried both the fried pizza with sausage and broccoli rabe, and the one with white chocolate, which had a peculiar name that I can't remember right now.
Truly special, Neapolitan cuisine is fantastic, and Naples is beautiful!

If you are in Naples you must absolutely try fried pizza. This restaurant is an institution of the fried pizza. We went at 7 on a weeknight and the restaurant was full in a matter of minutes. We stayed inside because the weather was not great but they have a beautiful terrace also. We started with mammeli and arancino then had the pizza compa and Neapolitan. We finished with dessert, the Napoli version of churros- you can see how delicious looks in the photo - accompanied by many toppings.

Excellent fried food shop with a varied menu of fried pizza only, located in a beautiful location near Margellina. Truly special fried pizza at reasonable prices. Worth the trip. Highly recommended.

Masardona is a must-try for anyone who loves authentic Neapolitan fried pizza. The dough is light, and the frying is expertly done: dry, perfectly crispy, and above all easy to digest. Despite being a fried pizza, you won't leave feeling heavy.
Special mention also goes to the Battilocchio with Gay-Odin acorn-flavored gelato: simply amazing. The contrast between the warm, crispy fried pizza and the cold, creamy gelato creates a perfect balance.

I had lunch here and overall it was a good experience. We started with some appetizers, including the fried provola in carrozza (fried cheese in a carriage). I wouldn't particularly recommend them because there's a lot of bread and not enough provola, so they're a bit over-fried and not very filling.
As for the fried pizzas, they're quite good: nothing incredible, but definitely very tasty. We tried both the one with broccoli rabe and sausage and the complete one, and both were well-made and had plenty of filling.
The service is excellent, very fast, and the staff are very helpful. Plus, the location is very pleasant, especially because it's close to the sea.
Overall, it was a positive experience.
