We chose the tasting menu "The journey", a journey through smells, colors, aromas, flavors of worlds near and far, of history and culture, of harmony and beauty. And when you get to the end, you already know that you will return because that "journey" cannot be forgotten. Chef Paolo Gramaglia, his wonderful wife and all the staff are an authentic excellence of the territory.

14/06/2025: We had made a reservation and that evening we happened to be the only ones in the restaurant. We were served to our every need and had a delicious meal. A real taste sensation!!!

09/07/2025: As Portuguese, fish is an institution for us, and we're very picky eaters. We ate grilled sea bream; it was very fresh and well prepared.

08/07/2025: Hidden gem frequented by Italians. Amazing service, beautiful outdoor patio with sunset view in July (can see a peak of Capri as well) great local seafood, fair prices, friendly waiters that speak decent English. A welcome reprieve from the tourist hotspots on the Amalfi coast. Will need a rental car or moped to get here.

09/07/2025: 4 of us attended the school in July. Easy shuttle from town; nice country atmosphere up on the hill; the hosts were gracious, helpful, and funny. Absolutely recommend to anyone considering it who might be traveling in Campania. Also, we booked our class only the day before, and it was fine.

04/07/2025: If you ever wanted to make pizza dough from scratch, try this, the staff are really warm and welcoming, Luigi is a real comedian, Maria has a lovely warmth to her, as did everyone involved with this experience. 02/07/2025: I can only say everything is excellent, from the service to the food to the hospitality where they make you feel in a familiar place. Very good pizza, typical local products always fresh, grown by them, even on the fried food, impeccable, dry and crispy. Fair price for what it offers, in fact I thought I would pay more... It was really worth leaving Pagani to go and eat the Pizza there...

14/07/2025: Sono venuto a Secondogliano per mangiare una pizza. Tante persone mi hanno raccontato che la Pizzeria da Paolo trovi il sogno mangiando la sua famosa pizza e non solo. Confermo quanto sentito, con la mia famiglia Paolo con suo figlio Giuseppe mi hanno fatto emozionare mangiando la loro pizza, nello specifico una Marinara Top, però dopo aver degustato una magnifica Zuppa di Cozze. Servizio al massimo livello, prodotti super e leggerezza. Grazie Pizzeria Nuova Italia . Ragazzi passate a Secondogliano e vivrete un sogno.

Abbiamo cenato ma anche fatto pranzo.Stadera abbiamo mangiato salsicce e friarielli, veramente top!Gnocchi al ragù,secondi perfetti,un menù di pesce e carne con piatti ottimi, varietà e qualità delle materie prime.Il.personale gentilissimo veloce e competente...i dolci per finire veramente buoni specialmente il babà al rhum!!!ci torneremo nei prossimi giorni per mangiare la pizza ,e il bello del locale è il forno e la catena di lavorazione della pizza a vista, veramente molto bello, tutto perfetto!

15/07/2025: Amazing, fresh seafood dishes. Friendly staff. We had a great time at lunch after our kayak tour. Highly recommended for anyone who likes fresh seafood. The regular menu is great but the fresh dishes of the day are out of this world.

08/07/2025: Excellent experience! Great find a little off the main streets in sorrento but still close. Came across this restaurant just by chance. From first being brought in to the fresh homemade limencello shots ay the end, the whole experience for my husband and I was fantastic . Great service from the farmer- and owner! Uses all his own local food that he grows. I had the baccala and my husband had the rigatoni- both Great and we had the recommened wine with our meals. Would definitely come again. GRAZIE MILLE!

01/07/2025: The best eggplant parmigiana I’ve ever had in my life (coming from a vegetarian who always orders this dish everywhere). The family who owns the place is so sweet. We went for lunch and dinner (it was that good), and neither disappointed. Their house wine selection was also delicious (we tried all of them), and the atmosphere is exactly what you would wish a place like this to look like. I can’t wait to go back. Thank you for the hospitality, for the dedication at what you do, and for keeping your roots. Grazie mille 🫶🏻

19/06/2025: An absolute gem of a sandwich shop. We went twice and the sandwiches were delicious. The two ladies running the shop couldn’t have been nicer. A must if you’re in Sorrento.

18/06/2025: Came here thanks to my daughter and TikTok 🤦🏼‍♂️. 45 minute wait in line to order then another 35 minutes to get it. But Food was excellent and worth the wait. The staff is friendly and fun singing along with the great playlist - keeps it lively met lots of nice people in line. Note: VERY limited seating! One small hack- download their app (extra 2€ per sandwich) and order ahead of time - pick it up at your convenience, however, you cannot order the classic hot sandwiches on the app …..that should probably be fixed but otherwise excellent.
