16/05/2025: I have been a tourist in Sorrento for several years. And this is my favorite cafe! Nice staff, clean, delicious, friendly, reasonable prices, the best service. I especially want to highlight the smiling girl Liana, she makes the perfect cappuccino and always pleases customers with her warmth.

11/04/2025: Prices beyond all logic and not displayed, not even a glass of water accompanies coffee or cappuccino, practically nothing of Neapolitan courtesy.

23/02/2025: Horrible! I expected much more from this pizzeria, I was with some friends, we were having fun with our cell phones in hand, but then afterward Mr. Gianluca moves the ball a bit and makes us sing throughout the place. It seemed like an excellent place where I could eat, we ordered, "chill", in terms of the style of today's kids. Some pizzas arrive (for my friends) and two of my other friends and I had split some Cheese&Bacon Chips. Maybe you will be shocked by the price, it will seem impossible, but you can go and see the menu yourself; €8 for plain chips (which were the size of your mouth, with a little cheddar and two strips of bacon). Absurd price, for chips from the bag with cheddar and bacon... The pizzas finally arrived but first while I was seeing how they prepared them, I saw the chef of the restaurant opening a bag of cooked ham, which you can find at the refrigerated counter of the supermarket. I had a mortadella and pistachio and a sausage and broccoli shared with my brother. Until last night, they remained inside my belly, too heavy. Price of the drink. I was amazed, a friend of mine had told me about it and I thought it was very good; I hope you improve the things I told you and I will come and try your other products.

13/04/2025: Eravamo in quattro e abbiamo mangiato le pizze, sui prodotti nulla da dire ma per il resto c’è poco da salvare. Accoglienza e servizio da bettola da due soldi, camerieri maleducati e cafoni; nonostante avessimo prenotato al mattino ci hanno fatto accomodare vicino al cesso! Da evitare almeno che non siete fatti della stessa pasta di chi vi accoglie!

29/03/2025: Recomendado por nuestro gerente de hotel en Il San Cristoforo, este es un lugar muy agradable para comer, lleno de lugareños, es luminoso, animado y con un personal amable y atento. La comida, ya sea de la amplia gama de pizzas o pasta fresca / mariscos, es sabrosa y buena relación calidad-precio, el vino por copa limitado a un tipo de blanco, tinto y rosa solo, aunque no es una ruptura del trato! Dolce excelente y parecía hecho en casa. En general, una recomendación satisfactoria y bien vale la pena buscar - ¡vaya ahora!

13/05/2025: La vue est magnifique. Par contre un risotto servi tiède avec UNE crevette à 20 euros c'est clairement exagéré ! Je ne recommande pas cet établissement.

04/05/2025: Restaurant mit sehr schöner Aussicht über Neapel. Guter Service. Gute und reichhaltige Barkarte. Übersichtliche Menükarte.

15/05/2025: Un Gran caffè ai massimi livelli con prodotti d'eccellenza e personale ai massimi livelli. Atmosfera unica e dettagli del locale da lasciare senza fiato. Anche il conto lascia senza fiato ma comunque in linea con l'offerta e la magia del luogo. Chi passa da Napoli deve comunque andarci, ne vale la pena!

15/05/2025: Jösses vilket stroppigt ställe. Servitörerna som hade koll inomhus i stora rummet var så sjukt otrevliga. Vi var ett stort sällskap på 9 personer varav 2 barn. Barnen ville såklart ha glass från glassdisken så vi reste på oss och gick och betalade och hämtade. Detta för att gelato inte fanns på menyn. När vi väl betalt och fått vår glass och skulle sätta oss med de andra som drack kaffe och åt dessert, blev vi avvisade trots att vi påpekade att vi tillhörde gänget där inne. Glassen fick ätas ute. Kul. Nej.

05/06/2025: Great flavors, disappointing management behavior. We ordered a strawberry smoothie, a tiramisu, and a latte macchiato, and although they all tasted fantastic, we had to wait over 15 minutes for them to be served — which felt excessive considering the café wasn’t too crowded. The waiter was very polite and professional, and the food itself was truly enjoyable. However, the experience was soured by the unpleasant behavior of a bald man who seemed to be the manager. He stood near the restroom area during our entire visit, watching security footage on his phone. While I was waiting for the restroom, I politely asked him twice in English, “Excuse me sir, are you in line, or may I go in?” — using a respectful and calm tone. He clearly heard me but completely ignored me, not even glancing up — as if to say, “You’re not worth responding to.” Moments later, he immediately responded to a staff member who spoke to him, proving he was fully aware and simply chose not to acknowledge me. A kind staff member eventually told me I was free to use the restroom and that the man was not waiting. Bottom line: While the drinks and dessert were excellent, and the service from the waiter was warm, the manager’s arrogant and dismissive behavior made me feel unwelcome. I personally wouldn’t return — respect and human decency matter just as much as good coffee. #RespectToBeRespected.

25/04/2025: Um lugar excelente. Ambiente moderno, bem animado, muitos jovens no lugar, música tipo balada, atendimento bom e rápido, Pedimos 2 sanduíches, estavam simplesmente perfeitos, meu marido falou que foi o mais gostoso que ele comeu na vida. Tem uma variedade muito grande de pratos e drinks. Só vai, fui recomendo e voltaria. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — Un lugar excelente. Ambiente moderno, muy animado, mucha gente joven en el lugar, música club - estilo, buen y rápido servicio. Pedimos 2 bocadillos, eran simplemente perfectos, mi marido dijo que era la cosa más deliciosa que había comido. Tienen una variedad muy amplia de platos y bebidas. Solo tienes que ir, fui, lo recomiendo y volvería.

19/06/2025: We were seated by a lovely waitress however, after reviewing the menu we found it to be overpriced and to be honest no dishes that really stood out to us. I went over to explain to the waiter we were going to just leave it. Before I even for the chance to make my apologies for us changing our minds he went crazy, hissing at me, shooing me out the restaurant like I was some kind of vermin, highly embarrassing and unprofessional. So pleased we didn't spend our evening/money here now, do not recommend.

18/06/2025: I came in here hoping to have a nice dinner with my mother and sisters, but it was quite the opposite. First we waited a long time for them to come and take our order and when we told the waiter our order which was 2 gnocchi’s, A side of french fries, and our drinks, he then proceeded to assume and say with such unnecessary attitude that we were going to share. I told him that wasn’t the intention because the girls were simply not that hungry even though one of them ordered the fries and the other one just ordered a drink. I then talked to another girl and she said that we can’t share. Once again I told her we aren’t sharing, but I guess the only capacity they have in that restaurant is to listen to respond, not listen to understand.

11/03/2025: I would like to point out that for some strange reason the review was published about two years later. We went to Hortus for a quick lunch yesterday. The welcome is top notch, they are all friendly and nice, as well as professional, but what went over the top is the quality and flavor of the food: as in an ancient Neapolitan tavern, you can find almost forgotten flavours, excellent Campania products, both produced and from the land, and dishes prepared in an impeccable way. In addition to what you can see in the photo, we tasted the "broccoli and sausage" pasta (I don't remember the name they gave it)... sublime.

25/02/2025: It was alright. It’s near Pompei so that’s where it has its value.

30/05/2025: Ate here out of necessity before going back to our ship, should have walked on. Struggled with communication, thought we asked for pasta with fungi, got seaford risotto. Food was okay, price was outrageous, cash only and no change offered, couldn't be stuffed arguing to get change. Staff friendly enough.

28/05/2025: The food isn't bad, but the service is terrible, and the customer service representative charged me for an extra dish I didn't eat. Clearly, I ended up paying for it.
