11/11/2025: The place is nice and welcoming, but the token system for drinks is surreal. Those who don't drink beer need to exchange three tokens, but to get them you need to exchange a minimum of €5, the same price as a beer. The problem is that the tokens you get are always odd, and you're forced to constantly change, so you end up taking out more than you need. Plus, you can't play inside if you don't drink anything (spoiler alert: the games are paid, not free for customers). Whatever you do, you pay, but it makes no sense (obviously, you go to the bar to distract yourself from life, and you find yourself with the same things you're trying to distract yourself from). In fact, I was speaking for those who don't drink beer; there's no point in mentioning quality beers if you don't drink it. For other places with sofas and beers and games and more, there's the Lizard Club, the Rock and Blues, Swing Band, Round Midnight Jazz Club, Il Moro, Meraki, The Wood, and Centra Bar. I repeat, contributing is okay, it's fair that everyone has expenses, but if I'm stopped, I repeat, for table football or billiards, which are already paid for, I think I'm contributing. I conclude that I find it absurd to give superfluous explanations for a review that I believe is constructive and then say "find more places like this." I don't mean to offend, but it's a bar/pub/club, nothing to praise in terms of novelty/difference in the area.

02/08/2025: We had a great time, the service was great, as was the cocktail show. However, when it came time to pay, we were surprised by the price: €71 for four drinks (including a soft drink and a dry drink at €15), which gives an average of €23 per cocktail... It's obvious that this place takes advantage of tourists despite its unfavorable location. Please clearly state your prices. Furthermore, we managed to resist the various dishes that were placed on our table without ordering them. I deplore this practice, which is absolutely not commercial and can only damage the image we have of the place.

07/07/2025: ⚠️ Very serious experience: We stayed at this property trusting the 4 stars declared and the images on Google and Booking, which turned out to be clearly misleading. The reality is profoundly different from what was advertised: it is an old, neglected property, with rooms that are more reminiscent of a nightclub than a hotel, and a style totally incompatible with the quality and hygiene standards expected for a hospitality facility of this category. At the time of booking, we were told that only a "suite with hot tubs" was available. Later, reading the reviews of other guests, we discovered that this is a systematic practice, used to induce customers to accept non-transparent conditions, thus configuring deceptive commercial conduct. We arrived at the property around midnight, with a newborn in tow. Despite having called the hotel 15 minutes before to confirm our arrival, we were given an attic room with an internal temperature above 45°C. The baby, a few months old, immediately showed clear signs of discomfort and sickness. The room, lacking adequate thermal insulation, was moldy, damp and had seriously poor hygiene conditions. Access was only via very hot stairs, totally unsuitable for those traveling with children or the elderly. The temperature makes climbing up difficult. When we asked for an explanation, the staff stated that - following complaints from other guests who had found the rooms "too cold" - they had chosen not to turn on the air conditioning before the guests' arrival. An unacceptable, illogical and irresponsible justification from a safety and health perspective, especially considering the presence of a newborn. It should be emphasized that the aforementioned gentleman was well accommodated at the reception, in a very cool environment. I showed up with my daughter in my arms in a sea of ​​sweat and visibly tired by the temperature. Only after repeated insistence were we moved to another room, which was still unsuitable: cracks in the walls, a shower in full view in the room, a clogged sink. Conditions that in no way reflect the definition of a “suite” or what was declared at the time of booking. We tried several times to contact the owner, without ever receiving a response. Online reviews have shown that the gentleman present in the facility is used to providing contradictory, evasive or completely false answers, systematically avoiding satisfying the legitimate requests of guests, with conduct bordering on legality. Further aggravating elements: • We were asked for €120 over the phone for the “suite”, the only available room with a hydromassage tub that had given us hope having decided at the last minute to stop, given the tiredness, unable to continue for 4 hours by car. We were not told the price of the second room. • When my friend asked to retrieve some personal items left in the first room, she was initially told that it was not possible because new guests were expected. Shortly after, the staff contradicted themselves, telling her to leave the keys attached to the door, implicitly admitting that no other guests were expected. • When we asked for a room with a balcony (for reasons related to smoking), we were told that there were no alternatives available, only to be transferred to a room with a view. This room, however, was located right next to a recycling company, with strong smog smells and under an overpass, in an area not suitable for families nor compatible with what was promised online. • There was not even a mattress cover. • The swimming pool visible in the advertising photos does not belong to the hotel, but to an adjacent bar, where the atmosphere is made inaccessible and noisy by loud music and chaotic attendance.

10/06/2025: What can I say? The Masaniello hotel is fantastic, the staff is competent and very kind. Having arrived from an unpleasant adventure, we were welcomed super well. I booked a suite. The staff, knowing my misadventure, made me find the room already with the air conditioning on. The room was perfect, spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend it. We will definitely be back.

24/09/2025: Ate at the restaurant here. Had the best raviolis ever in my life. Stopped here from our private boat tour from Sorrento. Fabulous. Service was amazing. Really expensive. You really start to see the prices go up the closer you get to Capri and positano. Worth the spend but most likely wouldn’t stay here.

22/09/2025: staff very rude, went on a boat trip day here and felt forced to eat. staff told us if we wasn’t to eat it would require €100 per person to access capri town which now we have found out this is a lie. they were very shocked none of me or my friends liked fish food and was extremely rude and looked down their nose at us, especially the man in the grey blazer with grey hair, mocked our accent and made us feel very little, we left without ordering as we felt trapped and very unsafe - do not recconmend

30/11/2025: The lady serving, along with the young woman, are incredibly rude. They focus on speed of service, not quality. I won't be returning due to the rudeness of the staff. Not recommended.

27/11/2025: If there were a chance to give negative stars, I would. I went to this place with a friend, and what happened alone would be enough to make me never set foot there again. It was pouring rain that day, the place was packed, the marble floor soaked, and there's a very slippery step to access the side room, made even more dangerous by the rain. The step wasn't marked and wasn't made non-slip, which is required by safety regulations. The result: my friend slipped and fell, hurting herself, hitting her back and arm on the edge of the step, and all because the place doesn't care at all about customer safety. The staff's reaction? A casual "Are you okay?" and then absolutely nothing. No concrete help, no attention, no courtesy. Not even a measly coffee offered after a fall caused by their obvious negligence, a fall that could have had far more serious consequences. A place that doesn't put safety first and shows no consideration when someone gets hurt inside or outside the premises is simply not recommended to anyone. If you want a safe environment run by people who respect their customers, look elsewhere.

12/06/2025: Servizio scadente,eravamo due adulti e una bambina di 6 anni.Per la bambina abbiamo ordinato una cotoletta con le patatine fritte che è arrivata dopo più di un ora,addirittura dopo aver servito i nostri antipasti e dopo che abbiamo avuto il tempo di consumarli.Per finire in bellezza non potevano servire il caffè, perché a detta del cameriere la macchina era guasta da qualche giorno ed erano im attesa della riparazione.

03/06/2025: Questa sera sono andata a mangiare da Fresco con 3 amici. Premetto che sono celiaca ed avevamo scelto il posto proprio in virtù di ciò ed anche perchè altre volte ero andata a mangiare lì quindi conoscevo il prodotto. Stasera ho ordinato la mia pizza senza glutine e il cameriere, come sempre molto corretto, mi informa che poteva esserci rischio di contaminazione ecc. Decido lo stesso di prenderla. Arrivano al tavolo le prime due pizze, tra cui la mia che appena arrivata, subito capisco che non era senza glutine. Ormai celiaca da 12 anni, riesco a capire subito quando un prodotto è senza glutine o quando no. In più, conosco la loro pizza gluten free e quella arrivatami, non aveva né spessore, né le caratteristiche della loro pizza senza glutine. Lo faccio presente al cameriere che porta via la pizza e ritorna successivamente a dare due fette di questa a due miei amici. E figuriamoci, sono stata contenta che abbia dato due tranci ai miei amici, ma il danno l’ho avuto io in quanto celiaca. Sono rimasta venti minuti ad aspettare poi la mia pizza che non era neanche buona come le altre volte, nel mentre i miei amici mangiavano i loro piatti. Alla fine, con il conto, mi aspettavo che avrebbero avuto un minimo di accortezza per lo sbaglio commesso. Invece no, ho pagato la mia pizza, mangiato una pizza che non mi ha soddisfatto, e per di più, si sono scusati per quanto accaduto solo dopo che io gli ho sottolineato che lo sbaglio commesso era stato estremamente grave. E ripeto, grazie per i due tranci dati ai miei amici ma nel frattempo sono rimasta io, celiaca, senza pizza e dovendo aspettare altro tempo prima di poter mangiare qualcosa.

16/12/2025: I stopped by on Wednesday morning for breakfast and had a truly excellent cappuccino: velvety foam, perfect temperature, and balanced flavor. The cookies were fragrant and fresh, perfect to accompany the drink. But what made the experience special was the magnificent view from the café—one of those views that truly makes you feel at peace with the start of the day. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service courteous, and the morning pace slow but pleasant. It's the kind of place I'd happily return to for a relaxed breakfast or to start a day of work or a stroll.

The staff is incredibly warm, attentive, and always there with a smile – you immediately feel welcome and completely at ease. The ice cream? Simply world-class! Super creamy, perfectly balanced in flavor, and noticeably high quality – you can taste the quality with every spoonful. The drinks aren't just "okay," they're truly top-notch: lovingly prepared, perfectly served – a delight from coffee to cocktails! Here you can see: Onda Verde 2000 is run with passion. A place to feel good, enjoy, and come back. Thank you for this quality and the great team! 10 out of 10!

29/11/2025: A truly awful experience. I went to a friend's 18th birthday party, and at the end of the evening, my friend discovered that her wallet, inside her bag, had been found open. The incident itself was unpleasant, but what made it worse was the total lack of support from the staff. Another detail that left us perplexed was the fact that, when we left for a moment, all the bags were on the chairs; when we returned, however, my friend's bag had inexplicably been moved to the table. This also didn't help us feel at ease. At the end of the evening, when I asked for information and tried to see if anyone could help us, the waitresses reacted with a bewildered and defensive expression, as if they felt accused without anyone pointing the finger at anyone in particular. Personally, if I were sure I hadn't done anything, I wouldn't react that way: it made the situation even more unpleasant. I also asked if there were internal cameras and was told no, which I found rather odd. In fact, shortly afterward, a relative of ours contacted the venue by phone and was told that there were cameras, but that they were only activated at night. A contradiction that didn't help us feel at ease or even remotely protected. Overall, the staff's attitude was completely indifferent and showed no desire to manage the situation, nor to offer support or even empathy. Added to this was their rudeness: the staff began cleaning the room while the guests were still inside, creating an atmosphere of haste and unwelcoming atmosphere. This lack of expertise, in a private event, is truly unacceptable. An unpleasant incident can happen ANYWHERE, but what makes the difference is how it's handled, and here it all fell flat. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this venue to anyone.

29/11/2025: AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!! During an 18th birthday party, a friend of mine found her wallet open in her bag, and the staff offered no help. When we returned from a quick outing, her bag had been moved by the staff without explanation, and the waitresses reacted defensively to our simple questions. Requests about the cameras received contradictory answers, which made us feel unprotected. Furthermore, the staff began cleaning the room with all the guests still present, displaying little politeness and professionalism. An unpleasant incident can happen anywhere, but here the management was nonexistent. I will not return, nor will I recommend it. BE CAREFUL!⚠️

10/11/2025: The most surreal experience of my trip to Naples. It was raining heavily, and since we had an early flight the next day, we decided to grab some dinner there so we could go to bed early. The food was poor quality and the service was lacking. When we asked for the bill, the waiter said the card machine wasn't working and took my husband in the car to the ATM 😅. An hour later, they returned. The first ATM wasn't working, so they went to another one. They got back in the car, and it turned out it was out of gas. The waiter asked my husband for €5, and when they finally got gas, the battery died 😂. They had to push the car (the waiter must have been around 70 years old), and it wouldn't start. They called the restaurant, and another gentleman came to help them. An hour later, my husband returned with the waiter, we paid the bill (€120), and they gave us a complimentary limoncello. The story is true 🤣. If you want to have a fun night out and get a scenic drive around Naples (a bit pricey, though), you can go.
