20/07/2024: I went this evening as a half moon, right from the start the starter was miserable. Then we ordered the pizzas (5) we waited 2 hours and there was no trace of the pizzas we asked and they told us "still 30 minutes" in the in the meantime other people had come after us and the pizza arrived immediately. So we had to make do with paltry appetizers. In all it cost us €80 (which in another restaurant we would have eaten more and better) Complete by saying that it was the worst experience of my life I will not go back. And while we were eating these miserable things there were people smoking under a tent that seemed to be arranged at the last moment

10/08/2024: I hadn't been there for a while and I came back by chance looking for an evening in the open air. I will happily return for the excellent food, the freshness and the beautiful view. I ate a pizza but I saw some interesting dishes passing by, including mussels and seafood appetizers. All accompanied by good service and hospitality

10/08/2024: The service is terrible. It was an unpleasant experience. The staff treated us terribly and they were not friendly at all. The food was actually good but I was afraid to ask something from the waiter. I guess they don’t treat well to the tourists, but only tourist come to this place. So I don't recommend this place.

02/08/2024: Not recommended at all. We went there because it was recommended but the food was very fair. We order a tomato salad and a house pizza. The tomatoes didn't taste like anything, it was like eating plastic and the pizza (which in Naples is all delicious) wasn't very good either, especially the dough. The place was empty and they had the music very loud, I was playing with my filka and we could hardly even talk. And to finish, they charged us €5 for the shelter and didn't give us bread or anything. After all, there are much better and better priced restaurants. Shame we wasted one of our meals there.

07/08/2024: Great setting on the beach overlooking the sea beautiful view. Pizzas are the best on the island so far. Food is great here. We go nearly everyday for lunch & though the service is correct they treat us like tourists the male waiters are sometimes quite rude & unwelcoming, not commercial at all which is ashame. Apart from this we go for the good food & great setting.

06/08/2024: Ho provato questo ristorante solitamente a pranzo durante la giornata in spiaggia per un piatto veloce. Venerdì scorso telefono e richiedo un tavolo vicino al mare , ma mi viene detto che non è garantito per le troppe prenotazioni.Giunti a destinazione il titolare ci riserva il tavolo come volevamo..Abbiamo cenato io e mia moglie e vi garantisco (conosco l' isola da circa cinquanta anni e questo ristorante merita il podio della baia !!!! Cucina ottima, dai fiori di zucca ripieni di ricotta, alla impepata di cozze. Frittura di paranza perfetta accompagnata da un' abbondante porzione di verdure grigliate. Ospitalità rara sull' isola dal padrone di casa a tutta la brigata con gentilezza da vendere. Ci torneremo spesso soprattutto di sera, ristorante "sano" in tutto. Da proporre e riproporre . Grazie di tutto.

28/07/2024: I give everything 5 stars and it's the second time I go to eat and I won't leave it all fresh anymore we had a wonderful evening we really felt at home I recommend it to everyone and don't read the negative comments because people are jealous it's not true what they write proves to be believed, compliments for everything

21/08/2024: First time in Naples and I can assure you that we had a great time at Mario's, excellent food, excellent fresh fish, we ate there for three days then the kindness of everyone was stratospheric, advice to give us if you pass by there, everything was fantastic... it will be our stop as we return to Naples

30/06/2024: Big sign on the wall; 0,33 cl sodas: €1,50. Took 2 sodas and a Twix milkshake. She demanded €7. I was puzzled and asked how much for the Twix drink? €4 was the answer. I switched the Twix with another soda. Now it was €6. I said it didn’t add up. “Old sign” was the excuse.. 🙄 I’ll survive paying €1,50 extra, but can’t understand why on earth anyone would risk a bad review for €1,50?! Well, here you have it.
