I migliori ristoranti di cucina italiana in L'aquila

25/08/2025: Along the main street in L'Aquila at 4pm and we hadn't had lunch, a platter of 3 salads and one with burrata, 4 craft beers, 3 coffees served in large cups (I had already thought it would be a strategy to pay triple), and 4 desserts. Everything was excellent, the burrata was spectacular. It's a shame I didn't take photos, but it was amazing that we only paid one euro for the coffee and there was no cover charge either, a more than fair price, surprising in this world of thieves, stop by because it's worth it. I'm attaching the receipt in the photo.

21/08/2025: I had lunch today in this cafe, the food is good and high quality, the staff is attentive and kind, the only negative note is the price of a small salad with just mastication and tomatoes I was charged €10 as well as the large salad with various fillings (mozzarella, tuna, salmon etc.) a little more attention!

14/07/2025: Questo posto è veramente una chicca a Roccaraso! Abbiamo mangiato divinamente… consiglio le scrocchiarelle con la cicoria ripassata buonissime!

19/09/2025: Highly recommended!!! Very friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, and super fair prices. Close to the highway, easy to get to. Highly recommended after trekking in the Gran Sasso. :)

05/09/2025: Don't expect a typical restaurant; expect a delicious, honest meal with super friendly owners. Don't forget to ask for the delicious, freshly made cannoli for dessert.

26/09/2025: We found this inn by chance, looking for a convenient place to stay for visiting Campo Imperatore and the Gran Sasso by motorcycle. Upon arrival, my wife and I were a little disappointed when we saw the place from the outside, but we dropped off our bags and set off. When we returned that evening, we found a simple but beautifully renovated room. The welcome was excellent, the room with bathroom was clean and very tidy, and the bathroom was perfect. The dinner, what can I say? Wonderful, with excellent house wine. I definitely recommend it.

30/08/2025: I ordered two pinsa and a tomato pasta dish (for my one-year-old daughter) to take out. The pinsa were very good, and there are many flavors to choose from. The pasta was average. The staff was friendly. I'll have to return with a reservation to fully appreciate the other dishes on the menu. I highly recommend the restaurant!

28/09/2025: I had dinner at La Tana del Lupo in Pescasseroli and had a very positive experience. I tried the Settembrina pizza, which was truly delicious, accompanied by a mixed fry and a beer. The place is welcoming and rustic, though a bit small: when it's crowded, it can be difficult to talk to the person sitting next to you. Service was timely, and while we waited, they offered us tomato bruschetta—a much-appreciated gesture that demonstrates the staff's friendliness and attentiveness. A plus is that dogs are welcome, but I recommend avoiding peak times (especially weekends) because the noise level is very high and could disturb the animals. The bathrooms are also noteworthy: spotless, well-stocked with toilet paper and soap, a rare but always welcome feature. Overall, a great experience: excellent pizza, friendly staff, and a refined atmosphere.

01/10/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance on our way back from a trip to L'Aquila, looking for a place to have lunch, but were discouraged by the late opening hours. I only noticed this restaurant because I looked around. The very young, yet very knowledgeable and competent owner not only welcomed us with a smile despite the late hour, but also listed the dishes for us so much that just listening to him made your mouth water! Wow, these dishes are a delight... from the amazing cured meats where you can taste the real quality, to the first courses... my homemade gnocchi had enough bite to make you close your eyes with every bite! This lovely restaurant where quality and passion reign supreme was an incredible discovery! Bravo!

08/08/2025: We found this place for an evening meal. It's very quaint and has a homey atmosphere. The owner is helpful and very friendly. We had a great time and will definitely return on our next vacation in the area. It's very quiet and the meat is good. Gluten-free options are also available. The wait is a bit long, but you can tell the meat is cooked to order and not reheated. 🙂

The service is excellent, attentive, and very pleasant. The food is the heart of the experience: exquisite and well-executed dishes, prepared with quality ingredients. A place where the combination of atmosphere, music, service, and cuisine translates into an overall relaxing and highly enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!

08/09/2025: Dinner with friends on a September evening; I was amazed by the quality and flavors of the dishes. The parmigiana was exceptional (even though it wasn't called that on the menu), and the other dishes were exquisite. The wines offered were unique and unusual. We'll definitely return.

26/08/2025: Good pizza, I had a calzone with mozzarella, mushrooms, and spicy salami, and a medium lager (the beer was a bit weak, but I didn't ask what brand it was). Fast and friendly service, reasonable price.
