08/08/2025: We found this place for an evening meal. It's very quaint and has a homey atmosphere. The owner is helpful and very friendly. We had a great time and will definitely return on our next vacation in the area. It's very quiet and the meat is good. Gluten-free options are also available. The wait is a bit long, but you can tell the meat is cooked to order and not reheated. 🙂

08/05/2025: I had the pleasure of sampling their dishes with friends. A generous appetizer with authentic, local ingredients was followed by an excellent pizza. The place was welcoming and the staff were knowledgeable.

29/10/2025: I'd go so far as to say it's the best pizzeria in town. The crust is crispy and incredibly light, and the fried foods are delicious too (especially the arancini). The prices are incredibly affordable, especially considering the quality. Highly recommended.

04/09/2025: I'll start by saying I've never stayed at this campground, as I was met with rudeness and arrogance at the entrance. I was near the campground and called to ask if there was space and the rate. I was told there was space and that they don't usually give out rates over the phone, so I had to check their website. I opened the website and saw that the rate for two people with a camper was €25/night. I arrived at the entrance, handed over our documents, and the person at reception told us a completely different rate. For two people, electricity, and a camper, the rate was around €35. I pointed out that the price on the website was different, and was told in a rude and unpleasant tone that the price on the website was incorrect, that the rate was the one she had just quoted me, and that I was free to go elsewhere if I didn't like it, citing the fact that the website was managed by an external company. So I wondered, why do you send someone back to the website when they call? At this point, after such treatment, I decided to go elsewhere. If we'd been treated more politely, we definitely would have stayed. I won't be going back.

30/11/2025: I went there but I will go back to visit the places and trails again because I didn't have the chance to move and visit the places.

11/10/2025: Excellent hospitality, super authentic food, Oops wine... the house wine was delicious, the location was clean and typical of the area, and last but not least, our four-legged friends were welcome.... Highly recommended...

09/12/2025: We returned to Il Tratturo Restaurant in Roccaraso after trying it in previous years, and it proved to be a sure thing. The place is pleasant and well-kept, and the food reflects the local tradition—everything is truly delicious. The staff is kind and attentive, and helps make the experience even more enjoyable. Recommended without hesitation!

26/09/2025: We found this inn by chance, looking for a convenient place to stay for visiting Campo Imperatore and the Gran Sasso by motorcycle. Upon arrival, my wife and I were a little disappointed when we saw the place from the outside, but we dropped off our bags and set off. When we returned that evening, we found a simple but beautifully renovated room. The welcome was excellent, the room with bathroom was clean and very tidy, and the bathroom was perfect. The dinner, what can I say? Wonderful, with excellent house wine. I definitely recommend it.

01/10/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance on our way back from a trip to L'Aquila, looking for a place to have lunch, but were discouraged by the late opening hours. I only noticed this restaurant because I looked around. The very young, yet very knowledgeable and competent owner not only welcomed us with a smile despite the late hour, but also listed the dishes for us so much that just listening to him made your mouth water! Wow, these dishes are a delight... from the amazing cured meats where you can taste the real quality, to the first courses... my homemade gnocchi had enough bite to make you close your eyes with every bite! This lovely restaurant where quality and passion reign supreme was an incredible discovery! Bravo!
