23/12/2025: Not to be missed. Amazing Fassona tartare, not to mention the Mortazza focaccia. Unbeatable value for money. Informal and impeccable service. Worth a subscription. 12.23.25: Even in winter, it's a welcoming little place. The tagliata steak is excellent, and the Montepulciano by the glass is a must-try! 😄

03/03/2026: Baita Paradiso – The ultimate dream pit stop on the Roccaraso slopes! ⛷️❄️ If you're in Roccaraso and skiing on Pizzalto, you can't miss Baita Paradiso! Located halfway down the slope, it's the perfect place for a regenerating break between runs. Here, relaxation meets fun: the food is excellent, with hot, tasty dishes perfect for recharging your batteries, and the well-stocked bar is perfect for a drink overlooking the mountains. The atmosphere is always lively, with music, shows, and a warm welcome that instantly makes you feel on vacation. Whether you want to relax in the sun or dance in your ski boots, Baita Paradiso is the perfect place. A must-see for anyone who wants to experience the mountains with gusto and joy!

31/03/2026: Such a great place! Owned by a husband and wife for 42 years! No menus, ask them for something or the Nonna that waits tables will tell you what they have. Absolutely delicious homemade food, can't say enough about the lasagna and bolegnese sauce. We are going back for more before we leave! Don't miss it!!!

13/11/2025: The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, the food is very good, and the staff is friendly and helpful (the lady who welcomed and served us was very kind). The only thing I would recommend adding is the option to consult the menu (there isn't one, and the lady lists the available dishes verbally) to make choosing easier. Regarding the price, there were three of us and we paid about €35-€36 each (water, a liter of wine, three first courses, three second courses, three side dishes, two desserts, and three coffees).

18/03/2026: Upon entering, the owner was present and didn't even acknowledge us with a greeting or welcome, which I consider essential to making customers feel welcome. I had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant, where unfortunately the experience didn't live up to expectations. The food, compared to other times, didn't seem as fresh as it should be, and this negatively impacted the overall quality of the meal. Furthermore, I found the presence of a desk in the dining room, used for accounting and business conversations, inappropriate. In my opinion, in a restaurant setting, these aspects should be kept separate to ensure a more welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The atmosphere was rather awkward. I'm sorry to leave a negative review, but I hope it can be a starting point for improvement.

09/03/2026: This was my first time at this restaurant and I had a very bad experience. The food was poor, the prices were excessive, and the waiter was rude. After this experience, I will never go there again.

30/01/2026: A stone building with arched vaults, and an open wood-fired oven that warms the atmosphere with its flames. Everyone is very friendly, from the owners to the wait staff. Every time we go, there's always a surprise off-menu item served at the table free of charge, small appetizers that give that family feel. The pizza is very light in dough and generously topped. Very digestible!!! A favorite place worth returning to again and again! I forgot that besides pizza, they also serve appetizers, first courses, side dishes, main courses, and desserts.

07/02/2026: The food was plentiful but of poor quality, and the place was old and very dirty. But what was most surprising was the staff's lack of kindness: a bunch of rude people who had no idea how to treat people, even customers. An unpleasant experience.

31/01/2026: A true gem in the heart of Roccaraso! If you're looking for the true essence of Abruzzo cuisine, La Capannina is an absolute must. We were welcomed with an old-world warmth and professionalism: the staff is exquisitely kind, always attentive to every detail and capable of making you feel at home from the first moment. But let's move on to the highlight: the food. * The house antipasto is a triumph of local flavors: a lavish platter of local cured meats, quality cheeses (the fresh ricotta is sublime!), artisanal pickled vegetables, and incredibly flavorful sautéed mushrooms. * The first courses are pure poetry. We tried a fresh pasta with incredibly creamy porcini mushroom cream, a dish that exudes mountain flavors and tradition. * The meat, cooked to perfection, confirms the high quality of the ingredients used. Even the simplest dishes, like the hamburger and fries, exude an authentic, captivating flavor. * The atmosphere is rustic and welcoming, as you'd expect from a high-end retreat in Roccaraso. Excellent value for the quality offered. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back to indulge in the flavors of Abruzzo again.

11/04/2026: Disgusting, endless wait for poor and disappointing quality.

15/02/2026: Even today, for a family lunch for four, we renewed our choice to return to Signora Stefania's Mordi & Fuggi restaurant. Despite the room being packed to the rafters, the courses were served quickly. What can we say about the pappardelle with "real" truffle and the Pachino and Saffron Gnocchi, simply sublime, and what can we say about the arrosticini of both meat and liver with onion and chili pepper, nothing short of "divine". And what can we say about the grand finale, the dessert, an incredibly good crème brulee, with a crunchy crust and a creamy, sweet center, certainly the best I've ever eaten. I recommend everyone to experience the taste of this restaurant where passion for cooking is an art.

18/09/2025: I've rarely eaten so badly in my life. Meatballs that even now, five hours later, I can't digest, not to mention the pizza, one of the most horrible I've ever tasted. I'm sorry, but I don't want to feel bad because of others, and it's not fair. If you care about your stomach, don't go.

30/07/2025: I went to Monthy's Irish Pub with high expectations, but unfortunately I was very disappointed. The place is small and noisy, more focused on live music than quality service. The staff, while friendly, were inattentive, and service was slow. The food was tasteless and overpriced, with a beer selection that didn't live up to expectations. The price doesn't justify the quality. I won't be returning, nor do I recommend it.

31/05/2025: We ate caccio pepe fries, a double burger, and tried arrosticini at friends' restaurants. The quality of the ingredients was top-notch, the products were tasty, and the quantities were satisfying.
