Beautiful campsite located in the valley between Opi and Villetta Barrea. The Sangro River flows along its inner boundary. The river branched off to power the mill. A truly beautiful, completely flat site where children can have fun riding bikes and playing safely. Tents and campers are welcome. The entire area is lit by lanterns scattered throughout the campsite. The old mill also has a bar and a restaurant/pizzeria serving excellent cuisine. Prices are reasonable and affordable. Drinkable water is available from the fountains scattered around. Camper loading and unloading areas are easily accessible. Hot showers are included in the price, and bathrooms are clean. Recommended.

Passing through Opi for an overnight stay, we dined at this traditional restaurant. It offers a typical mountain atmosphere in front of a roaring fireplace. The asparagus, pecorino, and sausage were excellent, as were the arrosticini, and my wife absolutely loved the chocolate cake. The hostess was very kind, and the waiter deserves special mention, a very polite and precise young man. We'll definitely be back.

15/04/2026: As a regular customer, I'm always delighted to come here for its quaint location, warm and welcoming atmosphere, excellent cuisine, prompt service, and very fair prices. What can I say? A place I'll gladly return to again and again.

26/03/2026: I come here often, especially for takeout. Their delivery is always on time. The pizzas are excellent.
20/01/2026: Thin pizza with a super-digestible dough; excellent toppings. Very tasty too (which doesn't hurt).
