08/02/2025: Ristorante carino e molto ampio. Abbiamo mangiato una fiorentina alla brace per due.... veramente ottima e molto tenera con contorno di patate al forno molto buone accompagnato il tutto da un vino rosso della casa consigliato dal ristoratore veramente buono. Posto Consigliatissimo!!!

08/02/2025: Very welcoming location, very kind staff, excellent food, I really enjoyed myself. Their grilled meat was delicious, I've never tasted anything like it, and the pasta was also delicious. We ordered a mixed grill and were really satisfied. Friendly and friendly staff, they made us feel very comfortable. The place was also very clean. 🥰🥰🥰

16/02/2025: rude and bored staff, dishes as if they were small tastings, ravioli number 3 and certainly reheated, lukewarm second courses and absurd prices for what they offer, but perhaps they believe that people are really stupid? boooo it won't happen again!!

17/12/2024: Pleasant place, I had never been there, it was recommended to me, a stone's throw from the famous caves, I ate quite well but I reserve the right to test it a little better. Something didn't convince me. Good service, room a little cold but we know, these days, heating costs money...

18/03/2025: Located next to the Pescina square. The hotel was a pleasant discovery. Comfortable, well furnished and comfortable rooms. The guys who welcomed us were also kind and helpful (leaving us the booked room before check-in, thoughtfulness that is appreciated). Good and varied breakfast. Well done.

24/02/2025: Really nice hotel located in the center of Pescina. Clean and spacious room, excellent breakfast and very kind staff. It is located in an ideal position for visiting the attractions of this part of Abruzzo. A beautiful discovery!

05/11/2024: Tappa ideale per chi va o rientra da Campo Imperatore, negozio a gestione familiare con griglie esterne dove ognuno si può cucinare la carne, fra cui i famosi arrosticini, che si compra all interno. La fila non è velocissima, dovuto più che altro al numero di persone che si presentano nei giorni festivi.

16/10/2024: Location incantevole, spazi immensi che solo a guardarli ti fanno venire fame. Come per magia, appare questa macelleria, un luogo conviviale e ben organizzato. La fila, spesso lunga, è però scorrevole e ben gestita: basta prendere il numero e si procede rapidamente. Dopo aver acquistato carne, arrosticini, formaggi, costolette e altro, puoi uscire e trovare i bracieri già caldi, pronti per cuocere i prodotti appena comprati. Le braci vengono mantenute costantemente accese, quindi non c'è attesa. Sale e graticole sono disponibili sui tavoli. Oltre alla splendida cornice del Gran Sasso, questa macelleria offre a chi arriva fin qui l'opportunità di godersi un pranzo con i fiocchi..

01/03/2025: Put aside the long wait at the checkout, put aside having paid around 9 euros for a juice and a small red pizza (probably dating back more than a few days ago and of dubious taste), put aside the discreet tall tales about not having to provide the Wi-Fi password ("no, otherwise the POS won't work" and, secondly, "it doesn't work"), I absolutely cannot accept that, at half past twelve, after about 30 minutes of sitting down, I am ordered by what I think is the owner to leave because “people must eat”. Now, I'm on holiday, I opened my PC on the table as I need to quickly view some files for work. At least where I entered, there is no separation between the area for catering and the area for quick bar consumption: I don't feel out of context at all, I haven't been there for long and I've eaten too (and with what a quality/price ratio!). I kindly put up my heels and decide to leave with the knowledge that the structure itself is the one who has lost out, shortly thereafter my group of travel companions would return from the slopes and most likely they would spend lunch time right there with me (eating among other things, as requested by the owner). Sin. I hope that new businesses emerge in the surrounding area more dedicated to catering and customers than to making money.

23/02/2025: Small rustic self-service restaurant, unfortunately very crowded on weekends. The quality of the food is quite good, the portions are generous.

21/03/2025: Conoscevo il posto , elegantino ma senza grosse pretese. Ora è diventato troppo sofisticato calcolando che si tratta di un ristorantino molto carino all'interno, ma parecchio trascurato fuori. Il menu gourmet è costituito da piccole porzioni non in linea con i costi e nemmeno con i prodotti locali . L'eleganza che si vuole dare al locale, cade poi in errori elementari, come non apparecchiare la tavole con tovaglia o tovagliette, ma lasciando che tutto si poggi (pane compreso) sul tavolo ricoperto da una lastra. il menù va necessariamente letto con il qrcod. Peccato che il mio telefono non abbia questa abilitazione. Non esiste la carta dei vini, e le bottiglie a disposizione vengono elencate dall'austero cameriere (o proprietario?) senza che se ne possa conoscere il costo. I piatti buoni, ma non entusiasmanti. I mammoli di patate viola vengono serviti con un sugo che si avvicina alla brodaglia in un piattone dove galleggiano pochissimi "mammoli". Niente di entusiasmante la tagliata di fassona, buona la scamorza con frutta secca. Rapporto qualità prezzo negativo.

04/02/2025: I was with my wife on a trip from Rome to Tagliacozzo and while exploring I was interested in the menu and style of this restaurant. I called while I was traveling and so we reserved a table for our lunch on Sunday 2 February. Very welcoming atmosphere. Understated elegance. Pleasant furnishings with refined objects scattered but neatly around the room, including designer wines. Quite an intimate place with a few tables, a beautiful entrance with fireplace and Provençal sideboard and another fireplace in the main room. Courteous and professional staff. Interesting menu (we ate tortelli with porcini mushroom filling, fresh mushrooms on a bed of saffron and morsels of meat, I think it was scottona with plums and a cherry juice garnish. A classy dessert, cheesecake with icing sugar, all with a Montepulciano cellar Ulisse; the owner also offered us some frappe). Fair price. The restaurant is in a small village just outside Tagliacozzo which can be admired from the terrace in front, where outdoor tables are set up in summer. Not even 1 hour from Rome at low traffic times. A pleasant surprise. Parking just in front of the restaurant. We had our little Chihuahua with us and they had no problems. However, I always recommend that you inform the owners out of politeness when traveling with animals or children or disabled people to enable them to best assist you.

The only reason why I give 4 stars and not 5 is for the fact that on an account of 12 people it becomes a problem to pay for just one card transaction (despite it being well written in the place). I hope that the evaluation is taken in a constructive way and not as a criticism with the intent to belittle.

29/03/2025: Dinner with friends, in this place recommended by our hotelier. We missed polenta with wild boar ragù sauce and pappardelle with mushrooms. Two excellent dishes, with a good portion. Friendly staff and average prices. Advised!!
