10/11/2025: As soon as you sit down, you know you're in a temple of fine dining! Niko Romito is a genius in the kitchen! His sister in the dining room is his right hand! One waiter, however, was particularly arrogant...and a three-star establishment can't afford that! A customer has the right to eat as many dishes as he wants...after all, we traveled 800 km...just for dinner! It's a shame...but I also understand that trained staff aren't easy to find! Still, one of the best three-star establishments ever! Worth the trip!

Exceptional vegetarian cuisine, rich in aromas and flavors, perfectly complemented by the owners' empathy. Seats are limited; reservations are required well in advance.
27/11/2025: Wonderful experience. I visited the restaurant for lunch with friends. An unusual vegetarian meal, with touches of plant-based ingredients that enhanced the dishes. Locally sourced products. Guided by the very kind Andrea, who explained the dishes and the ingredients used, we were treated to a tasting experience that truly immersed us in the local area. Highly recommended.

20/11/2025: Evening with friends We had a wonderful time! The owner knows his stuff!!! Everything was delicious, from the appetizer to the delicious steak with potatoes, everything was divine. Speaking of wine... a nice selection that enhances the flavors. The house dessert was delicious, and the liqueurs were superb!! Great atmosphere! Highly recommended!

13/12/2025: A very pleasant experience. Even though we arrived a little late, around 2:15 PM, we were greeted with extreme kindness and courtesy. The staff who served us was exceptionally kind, knowledgeable, friendly, and never overbearing. We shared a house appetizer, all quality cured meats, with excellent local cheeses and jams, accompanied by exceptionally fresh bread. Then we each had a first course, including a dish of the day, which was plentiful and also excellent. The price was absolutely reasonable for the service and quality of the food. We really appreciated the tranquility and relaxation of the place, which immediately put us at ease even though, as mentioned, it wasn't very early. Furthermore, the village is also very charming for a stroll through the historic streets. A pleasant addition is the fact that they also have a wide range of homemade jams, legumes, and oils for sale, which make excellent little souvenirs. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely return if we're in the area again.

05/10/2025: Today I had the pleasure of lunch at Emiliano's La Fuocina, and it was a truly memorable experience. I tasted a full-blood Wagyu "Italia" rib-eye steak that was simply extraordinary: a unique, tender meat, perfectly marbled, with an intense and refined flavor. An absolute delight, never tasted before! And not just the meat: the appetizers and first courses were also meticulously prepared, balanced, and bursting with flavor. All this was accompanied by attentive and friendly service, which made the day even more enjoyable. This restaurant is absolutely worth a try, and I recommend it without hesitation to anyone who loves good food and authentic gastronomic experiences.

19/11/2025: Truly excellent osteria. I went to eat with a group from a course. There were a lot of people that day, but I have to say that the waiters, the cooks, everyone was very quick with their service, and I have to say that it was the first time I've seen it. It seems to me that the osteria is family-run. The menu included an appetizer with cured meats, cheese, very good spiced mushrooms, etc., then the first course was chitarra pasta with saffron, ricotta, and truffle, which I must say was very good. Then the second course was meat with arancini and chicory, then the house dessert, and we were also offered gentian at the end. I didn't spend much, so I'd say I'd return.

In my homeland (Puglia) this kindness has become utopia! I would like to return to those magnificent places to savor those cured meats, those fantastic first and second courses... congratulations again! ❤️

27/09/2025: If you're passing through Roccaraso—winter after skiing or summer after a hike in the Monte Greco woods—don't miss the opportunity to have dinner (or lunch!) at Chi Chi Bio. I stumbled upon it almost by accident and had an excellent food and wine experience. Quality food, knowledgeable staff, and a reasonable wait. I highly recommend it.

13/10/2025: What can I say, where to begin... We arrive for lunch, although it was more of a kidnapping than a lunch. The table is medium-sized, and the first thing we ask is if they have vegan options. Otherwise, I would have easily looked for another place for myself and another person. I say yes, and so we all sit down. An eternity passes before anyone comes to ask if we want a drink; no menus are available. Another eternity passes before they come to ask us about appetizers, which we obviously couldn't choose since the menus were never brought to the table. I remind the waiter that I'm vegan, asking what the vegan options are, and the answer I get is "I DON'T KNOW, VEGETABLES," in a tone that's annoyed to say the least. The famous vegetables arrive: some tasteless grilled peppers and mediocre eggplants—these are the vegan options. Congratulations. Another eternity later, another waiter arrives (or maybe the owner, I don't know), asking us for our starters, again without having had a chance to consult the menu. Once again, I naively ask what I should choose, and he replies, "You have to tell me what you want," which I would have done if I'd only known what was on offer, but without a shred of a menu, it's hard to ask for anything. When I reiterate which foods I don't eat, he even rolls his eyes at me, astonished. We settle on pasta with porcini mushrooms, a mediocre dish like the rest of the dishes, which also left me feeling nauseous for the rest of the day, and perhaps it's best not to investigate the reasons. The other diners fared better, but they too were offered samples of three starters, but only two of them arrived. When some asked for second courses, the initial response was "we have meat," further information was provided upon prompting, shocking. Now I wonder how it's possible, in 2025, to approach customers like this. I've rarely seen such ignorance and rudeness from someone offering a service, or at least supposedly so. Not to mention that all it would have taken was for them to immediately say, "No, they don't have vegan options," and I would have saved myself an absurd amount of money for dishes that should shame the people who prepared them, and you for having a clearly unwelcome customer at your establishment.
