12/02/2025: A place where you feel at home in a few minutes. Giampiero transmits his passion to you through fantastic steaks, mouth-watering even for my son who doesn't have any! I recommend him wholeheartedly, because as soon as you open that door you will be overwhelmed by his affection and kindness!! All the products are 0 km, and everything is delicious. Go there and you won't regret it.

17/01/2025: 6 Gennaio 2025 Abbiamo prenotato per le ore 20,00 QUESTO RISTORANTE tramite conoscenti, in attesa di andarci visitiamo il Borgo innevato trovandolo molto caratteristico. Intorno alle 19,00 decidiamo di anticipare l’entrata in ristorante sperando che il proprietario non ci facesse difficoltà per questa variazione di programma e meraviglia della meraviglia, ci accoglie un signore di nome Andrea che non soltanto ci accoglie ma per farci stare ancora più caldi accende il camino arricchendo la stanza già ricca di colori con il suo dolce tepore. Il locale è bellissimo e accogliente. Il proprietario Andrea ci ha messo subito a nostro agio e in attesa che Barbara la moglie continuasse indisturbata a preparare le pietanze ancora non pronte e a noi riservate, ci intratteneva dando informazione sul posto e delle abitudini della gente che ci abitava servendoci nel contempo anche del vino rosato acqua e pane al forno cosparso con olio d’oliva. Racconto questo ed è il pensiero di tutti noi per la simpatia di Andrea sempre molto gentile, attento e sempre con il sorriso. Adesso passando alle pietanze, chi cucinava, era Barbara la moglie mentre Andrea ci serviva dandoci spiegazioni dettagliatamente su ogni piatto e dove e chi gli avevano fornito i prodotti. Gustando i piatti particolari con i prodotti del posto siamo stati riportati indietro alle nostre tradizioni contadine e per questo ringraziavamo la sig.ra Barbara che con passione e amore ci aveva fatto provare piatti speciali con abbinamenti azzeccati, assaggi gourmet con la compagnia dei buoni vini della casa. Abbiamo passato una serata magica e speciale con la compagnia di Andrea a Barbara. Io non so quando, ma ci ritornerò, per questo lo consiglio a chi vuole mangiare bene e conoscere Andrea e Barbara persone veramente eccezionali.

17/01/2025: Posto carino, lui simpatico, peccato che poca scelta e troppo formaggio, ridicole le porsioni, ti riempie di pane: 1+1 spicchio di formaggio, un cucchiaio di ceci, uno di rapa, un cucchiaio di pomodoro secco, mezzo bicchiere di pasta e lenticchie, 20g di gnocchi, una fetta di primo sale, una fetta di torta, con un cuchiaiono di panna, e un liquore. Un po di vino. RIDICOLO!

02/02/2025: Today my boyfriend and I had lunch at this wonderful restaurant. We tasted the fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and truffles and the pappardelle with wild boar ragout, and they were delicious, the best we've ever eaten! Even the very tender kebabs. Plus the staff was very friendly so we will definitely be back soon!

22/01/2025: Locale molto carino a due passi dalla fontana delle 99 cannelle, molto accogliente. Ottima la carne con grande scelta di tipologia e di frollatura. Molto buoni anche i primi. Ho trovato sfiziosa la schiacciata aglio olio e peperoncino. Personale molto gentile e preparato. Vale la visita.

21/01/2025: La sera di capodanno ho prenotato all’ultimo e il proprietario,nonostante il ristorante al completo ha trovato un posto per noi,personale cordiale e gentile,prezzi adeguati alla qualità del cibo che viene offerto,alta qualità della carne,che dire..abbiamo mangiato benissimo e siamo stati bene,torneremo sicuramente!!

18/01/2025: il servizio è rapido e buona l'accoglienza, magari un po' freddo e frettoloso nel servire, ma comunque sempre professionale. I piatti sono abbondanti e interessanti le proposte alla carta. menù semplice che rispecchia le tradizioni. il locale molto bello, eviterei il tavolo fronte bancone bar e cassa.. proprio davanti l'uscita dalla cucina. i piatti sono gustosi con i prodotti della zona .

08/02/2025: Bella scoperta, il titolare Sandro in particolare e tutto lo Staff, sono gentilissimi. Cucina tradizionale ben rivista, prodotti di alta qualità, anche il locale è accogliente, con volte a cielo di carrozza. Non posso indicare il prezzo, ero ospite. Consigliatissimo.

04/02/2025: Siamo stati per tre cene di fila presso questo splendido ristorante e quindi abbiamo assaggiato tutto il menù. I prodotti veramente di alta qualità consigliatissimi i primi soprattutto i maltagliati fatti in casa con zafferano salsiccia e tartufo veramente ottimi per non parlare degli gnocchi al sugo di cinghiale e i ravioloni con gorgonzola e noci spettacolari. Gli antipasti caldi di carne particolarissimi ed eccezionale il tagliere con affettati e formaggi veramente speciali non il solito tagliere. Il personale estremamente professionale e attento alle esigenze del cliente sia la nostra cameriera che il proprietario veramente una persona speciale, il nostro cane labrador Olaf è stato trattato con i guanti bianchi con piccoli assaggi di tagliata. Ringraziamo ancora tutto lo staff e il proprietario per la gentilezza e sicuramente quando torneremo a Celano saremo lieti di tornare in questo splendido ristorante. Fede, Gabriele e Olaf

02/02/2025: Ristoro "La Foce" is a place that seems to have come out of a fantasy story. This food and wine pearl is hidden in an unlikely and wonderful medieval village, Scontrone, near Alfedena. Enrico, the owner, is an exquisite person of rare kindness who welcomed me and my wife late and made us sit. A delightful, warm, welcoming place. The furnishings are splendid and we immediately felt at home. Flavors that recall smells that bring back memories of places and the magic of some dishes are the experience I love to have when I evaluate a restaurant. Unfortunately today the biggest problem is the loss of the symbolic value of food. Most restaurants have become commodities, soulless consumer goods, just like the junk food they produce. But today I had the privilege of knowing this place where my emotions were amplified without limits thanks to two wonderful people who care about the bystanders. The owner Enrico and the chef Francesco, as well as the mayor of Scontrone, are geniuses, creators of emotions, an illuminating beacon who should certainly be a reference for all those who claim to love cooking, the real one. Respect for tradition, wise use of raw materials and mastery in combining them. This and much more is "Ristoro La Foce", an incredibly welcoming place, full of love, purity and true feelings that tell the food and wine history of Abruzzo. Dishes rich in flavors that persist on the palate but above all in the soul and heart that fill the voids with intense emotions. Art, mastery and passion are the tools that live in the hands of the chef and shine through in all the dishes. Dishes that fully respect the flavors of the raw materials which are enhanced by a combination of perfectly calibrated elements. We start with two appetizers that would make the most famous chefs pale. Béchamel croquettes and "La Foce" balls. An explosion of taste, delicate flavors that unfolded in the mouth, leaving not only the palate but above all the heart enraptured. We continued with 2 first courses. Cazzerelli with Beans and Tortelli "La Foce". Cazzerelli with beans are something indescribable. A flavor that made me remember when my mother used to prepare pasta and beans for me. I think this is enough to explain everything. The Tortelli "La Foce" are something similarly absurd. They were so good that I didn't even have time to think about what they were made of. It was impossible! There are two predominant elements: the preparation technique and the excellent quality raw materials. The technique is a broad and expert demonstration of knowledge of what the verb "cook" means for an Italian chef. This quality standard allows the customer to fully enjoy the flavors with perfectly balanced combinations that make every bite unique. The secondary elements are never placed to cover the main element of the dish but always accompany it, in order to allow the palate to distinguish the flavors from one another. The cellar is perfectly structured and offers a wide choice of world-class labels. The combinations, expertly recommended by Enrico, prove decisive in enhancing the flavors which, in the mouth, appear clear, full-bodied but at the same time delicate and persistent. A wonderful discovery, a new place to cultivate where you can go to enjoy a food and wine journey of the highest level. Balance of flavors and elements perfectly linked together with lightness and body, masterfully balanced. Everything is more than perfect. A temple of absolute taste.

14/01/2025: We ate typical Abruzzo cuisine prepared with high quality raw materials in this restaurant. Very nice, simple place with an extraordinary view of the village of Calascio. They welcomed us and made us feel at home, a polite and professional presence. We especially thank the kind gentleman, I think the owner, who delighted us with piano sonatas during lunch.

26/01/2025: Sin duda este restaurante entrega en todos los sentidos, un chef que entiende el producto de calidad y la perfección pura y simple en el plato. El personal es increíble que te hacen sentir como en familia. Gran llamada, pero después de viajar por el mundo durante más de 30 años siempre persiguiendo el efecto de la experiencia de comida Majella ofrece mucho por encima de las expectativas. 18/01/2025: I was in this place for the first time on November 1st for lunch and I must say that the opinions are more than positive, ample parking, a very clean place, courteous staff and excellent dishes, all good, genuine and plentiful, with an honest bill. I will be back soon and it will be my regular place at every opportunity!!! Congratulations to all the staff!!
