04/04/2026: Today I had lunch at this little restaurant and I must say it was truly a wonderful discovery. The food was delicious, and you could clearly taste the quality of the ingredients used: everything was fresh, carefully prepared, and meticulously cared for.
An added bonus is definitely the owner, an extremely kind and welcoming person who conveys a true love for his work and for what he offers his customers. You can sense the passion behind every detail. His wife, on the other hand, is an excellent cook.
It's the kind of place where you immediately feel at ease and leave wanting to return. Highly recommended!
15/03/2026: A wonderful Sunday spent at this little restaurant in the village of Sessanio.
We ate divinely, delicious, locally sourced vegetarian food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. All this was accompanied by the very kind Mr. Andrea, who expertly explained the origins and ingredients of each dish, expertly prepared by his wife, Barbara.
An experience to be repeated, definitely recommended for anyone looking for a different culinary experience!

10/11/2025: As soon as you sit down, you know you're in a temple of fine dining! Niko Romito is a genius in the kitchen! His sister in the dining room is his right hand! One waiter, however, was particularly arrogant...and a three-star establishment can't afford that! A customer has the right to eat as many dishes as he wants...after all, we traveled 800 km...just for dinner! It's a shame...but I also understand that trained staff aren't easy to find! Still, one of the best three-star establishments ever! Worth the trip!

The attention to detail is paramount, as is the care and freshness of the dishes. 08/02/2026: Three stars for the place, which is a bit small and the loud noise doesn't help much. Otherwise, everything is delicious, from the appetizers, the cured meats, the cheeses, the excellent first courses, and the tasty second courses. The dessert experience is heavenly, delicious, and unforgettable. If you're in the area, I highly recommend it.
01/02/2026: A well-maintained restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a stunning view of Rocca di Cambio. The food is excellent, starting with the Rocche antipasto, which offers not only uniquely flavorful cured meats and cheeses, but also hot dishes. The first courses are also delicious, such as the polenta with porcini mushrooms and truffles, a true revelation. The lamb shank, too, was a first, with an intense yet delicate flavor. And to finish, the desserts included a delicious apple tart, the Scomposta, and finally, a proper tiramisu, with excellent flavor. Aside from a small mix-up during service, I can say we had a wonderful time and are sure to return when we're in the area again.

21/03/2026: Wonderful secluded but in-town quiet location, the rooms are very nice, very clean and spacious, they include a small but efficient kitchenette, the bathrooms are also very spacious and comfortable. Overall an excellent place to stay, they also have a great restaurant where you can enjoy the local delicacies.
17/03/2026: We ate very well, the place was a little uncomfortable but beautiful, all in wood.

06/04/2026: I booked for Easter just by looking at the reviews, since I'd never been to L'Aquila, and I wasn't disappointed. Excellent food, with a focus on local ingredients but also innovation, delicate and refined flavors, and excellent, attentive, and friendly service. Excellent, one of my best Easter lunches.
N.B.: The dulcis venia was a small masterpiece of taste and beauty!

05/10/2025: Today I had the pleasure of lunch at Emiliano's La Fuocina, and it was a truly memorable experience. I tasted a full-blood Wagyu "Italia" rib-eye steak that was simply extraordinary: a unique, tender meat, perfectly marbled, with an intense and refined flavor. An absolute delight, never tasted before!
And not just the meat: the appetizers and first courses were also meticulously prepared, balanced, and bursting with flavor. All this was accompanied by attentive and friendly service, which made the day even more enjoyable. This restaurant is absolutely worth a try, and I recommend it without hesitation to anyone who loves good food and authentic gastronomic experiences.

09/03/2026: We had lunch at Le Gole restaurant and had a very pleasant experience. We were warmly welcomed and the service was attentive, with reasonable wait times between courses.
The value for money was excellent, and we truly rediscovered the flavors of yesteryear, the authentic, traditional ones.
A special thank you for the complimentary bottle of wine to toast my birthday: a truly kind gesture that made the lunch even more special. We'll be happy to return. 🍷

The rooms are spotless and cozy, and the breakfast is exceptional!

The room was super comfortable, the breakfast was excellent and varied, the hotel was very central, and the owners were very kind. My daughter couldn't wait to come down for breakfast every morning. 14/03/2026: Lunch with two children. Typical Abruzzo food, with a focus on tradition and a touch of innovation. Everything was excellent, the only flaw being that some of the arrosticini tasted a bit like lamb... Otherwise, everything was excellent: a clean and welcoming place, excellent service. There's no parking, so we'll have to park on the street. We'll definitely be back at the first opportunity.

12/03/2026: A good hotel-restaurant on Highway 17 near Barisciano offering good value. The rooms were basic, but had everything you could need, and the cleanliness was top-notch. Recommended for visiting the tourist attractions in Abruzzo.

The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful, and the service is fairly quick. Generous portions, especially for the starters, and the menu offers a good selection of desserts, especially the fig tart.
