Chef Romito remains the number one in the Italian culinary scene.
When you leave the restaurant, you already want to try it again as soon as possible...
08/09/2025: I'd like to describe in words what I perceived and received from this place, and from the food, of course, which releases a strong and wonderful energy.
What truly amazed me was the coherent union between the environment and the food, which fully captures the meaning of the word "well-being."
The white, the emptiness, the space of the place allows you to appreciate the elements, gives you the time and attention to notice the beauty, just as on a plate you can clearly distinguish the food that stands out and take the time to fully savor the wonderful flavors and be amazed.
Refinement, Elegance, Time, Details, Care, Inspiration, Beauty, Magic, Fragrances, Wonder, HAPPINESS.
I'm posting photos of the dishes that most impressed me: the breadsticks, the mixed salad, the zucchini, the transformation of the fig leaves, the sage, the pepper absolute!
A place to return to! I don't want to define it as an "experience" as something to do once and never again, just to try it.
An intense and relaxing moment in which to abandon yourself with trust, a practice we can repeat to satisfy our spoiled... and beloved inner child!

30/08/2025: At this restaurant, you can savor traditional Abruzzo cuisine in a slightly more refined and sophisticated atmosphere than other local restaurants.
Their game appetizer, featuring top-quality cured meats, is definitely worth trying. It's plentiful and paired with a "cooked" antipasto featuring a variety of delicious dishes.
The first courses were generous, especially the fettuccine with creamy porcini mushrooms and fresh truffle. However, the roe deer-filled ravioli was a bit thick and tough, and the chopped tomatoes on top didn't really add much to the dish.
They also offer a wide selection of meat-based main courses, but we preferred the first courses.
A wide and interesting selection of desserts, including the truly superb amarena brittle.
The girls who served us were knowledgeable, kind, and above all, quick!!
We'll definitely be back one evening to try their pizza, which looks delicious.
28/08/2025: We went to Giardino di Andrea during our vacation, recommended by a family member who frequents the place often. We couldn't have found a better place! The atmosphere is refined yet makes everyone feel at ease. Service is quick, friendly, and attentive, yet not intrusive. The pizza selection is extensive, with fair prices and absolutely spectacular quality! The dough is light, slightly thicker than a classic Roman round pizza. Top-quality ingredients paired beautifully, creating a gourmet experience. We had a truly unique appetizer of game cold cuts. The staff explained everything to us, and it was truly delicious. The fillet steak was also fabulous! The prices are more than fair; in fact, we were surprised by the bill when it arrived, as we honestly thought we'd pay more. This will be a place we'll visit again when we return here on vacation.

30/08/2025: There are places that become habits, and others that, over time, become true certainties. Terrae Madre is certainly one of them. A guarantee that never disappoints.
Whether for a quick lunch, a relaxed aperitif, a more refined dinner, or even just an after-dinner drink, the experience is always delightful when you wake up feeling like you've experienced something special.
The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, the cuisine exudes quality without needing excess, and the prices remain fair, which is not to be taken for granted.
For me, it's now a go-to, the kind of place you'd recommend without hesitation to anyone who asks where to go. An authentic refuge, with taste and consistency, that always makes you feel right at home, with an exceptional staff.

12/07/2025: Sono stata a pranzo di sabato con la mia famiglia. Location eccezionale, con panorama sul paese e tanta tranquillità.
Abbiamo preso dei ravioli ricotta e spinaci, conditi con burro e salvia oppure tartufo. Squisiti direi. Gli arrosticini di pecora erano molto buoni e saporiti. Tutto locale e artigianale, compresi i dolci. Ottima la spuma di zabaione con sbriciolata di millefoglie.
Gestione familiare. Il meno giovane dei gestori ci ha anche suonato il pianoforte. Consigliatissimo!

30/08/2025: Six of us had lunch at this restaurant and tried the cac e ovo (egg and cheese balls), which were truly delicious. Then there were the first courses: burrata and pesto, spelt, ricotta, and walnut ravioli, and chitarra Abbruzzese. Each one was better than the last, well-seasoned, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients! We truly appreciated it and enjoyed it!
However, when ordering, they didn't let us order more than three first courses.
The bathroom location is a bit unfortunate: either you find one free, or you're practically stuck in the middle of the kitchen, surrounded by the bustle of waiters.

The saffron gnocchi were amazing.

28/07/2025: Abbiamo pranzato qui di ritorno da un week end in montagna ed abbiamo apprezzato la cucina ed il servizio. Molto buone le fettuccine ai profumi di bosco, il prosciutto crudo e le patatine fritte artiglianali.
23/07/2025: Excellent hotel and restaurant. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Excellent food and breakfast. Six of us stopped here on our motorcycles. I highly recommend it.

Courtesy, efficiency, and professionalism in a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Pizza lovers must come here; you won't regret it.
25/07/2025: A pizza with my beloved nephew. Right in the center of Sulmona. A welcoming place with the option of eating outside on a patio hidden from prying eyes. The pizza, cooked in a wood-fired oven, is delicious. Thin in the center with a high crust.

14/07/2025: The staff were courteous and the entire young team, both in the kitchen and the dining room, were professional.
The chef combines culinary creativity with a thorough understanding of the ingredients. Each dish was a discovery of taste and smell.
The location is certainly a stunning setting. Recommended for those passing through or working near the park...or simply wanting authentic dining without settling for simplicity but aiming higher.
13/07/2025: I was in Castel di Sangro for a few days' vacation and had lunch at this restaurant. The atmosphere was very nice and relaxing. The food was well-cooked, but the portions were very small. The service could be improved. Prices were moderately high.

07/07/2025: We had a little dinner in this very nice place and we took a cutting board with some very good cheeses and really special cold cuts, too bad there were really too few. The food was pleasant but it didn't excite me as I would have expected from the reviews, a first course for €18 must be delicious, not acceptable. Amazing innkeeper, too bad I can't say the same about the rest of the team.
