07/05/2025: Nulla da dire sulla qualità del cibo, forse l'atmosfera non è proprio caldissima ma il rapporto qualità/location/prezzo non è proprio il massimo. Per 1 piatto a testa + 1 antipasto condiviso + 3 dolci in 5, spendere 40 euro a testa mi parrebbe tantino in centro città ... figuriamoci a Gaby.

09/08/2025: Great experience... charming place with tables inside and outside, clean, minimal bathroom. But everything is accessible. There were two of us, so we ordered two first courses and two second courses. 1 liter of wine, half of which was sparkling, a liter of water, soda, a coffee, and two grappas. Total: €86. Large portions and fabulous food. Alessia, the waitress, was lovely, efficient, and attentive. And then you're practically on the beach! They accept credit cards and issue invoices. It's worth a try!

12/06/2025: The owner was welcoming and friendly... A very fragrant risotto, with citrus notes, perfectly creamed with pears, parmesan cheese, balsamic vinegar and prawns shaded in brandy... An original and surprising combination for the palate! Very tender Milanese cutlet, enclosed in a crunchy and golden breading, with rocket and cherry tomatoes, tasty and delicate side dish of seasonal vegetables... The dessert (tiramisu) was excellent. Worth it. We will propose again as soon as possible...

26/05/2025: Very friendly restaurant. Warm welcome! It's very good and very tasty. You can go there with your eyes closed... While passing through Milan, we dined there three times. Very reasonable prices.

04/07/2025: Since they took over, there has been a difference and you can see it, feel it, taste it! They are 2 sunny, prepared girls and the ice cream is extraordinary. I have tasted practically all the flavors! Stracciatella and salted caramel remain my favorites. I have not yet tasted the milk and mint ice cream. But there will be an opportunity. Really good girls, keep it up

30/06/2025: we made the birthday cake for an 18th here. Even though our requests were complicated they did everything to satisfy us and succeeded completely!! it's no coincidence that for our birthday cakes they are always a guarantee 🙏🏻

02/08/2025: A restaurant that almost goes unnoticed, but luckily we got in. The owners were very friendly and helpful, even though we arrived close to closing time. The dishes were truly well-prepared, tasty, and reasonably priced, with a special mention for the tuna steak. Definitely worth returning if in the area.

Excellent wine list and excellent quality of dishes. Price in line with the area and cuisine. We spent about €170 for two, including: 1 appetizer, two first courses, 1 second course, 2 desserts, and a bottle of wine. Recommended for a quiet, refined dinner! Suitable for couples and small groups

31/07/2025: Il Bucaniere ha una terrazza su 3 lati e mangiando all esterno si mangia praticamente in mare. Davvero notevole e suggestivo. La cena è stata buona. Il pescato del giorno con l ombrina davvero ben cotta. Consigliato. I prezzi sono corretti considerando la vista sul mare e il cibo offerto

I was there last night (after trying a few restaurants in the Orta San Giulio area) and I can say that, in the area, it's the best both for its generous and very good dishes and for the price! I highly recommend it to everyone! We'll definitely be back. WELL DONE!

07/08/2025: Very good, artisanal food. Friendly service. The only flaw is the lack of list of ingredients on the menu (which is written on chalkboards). The tagliatelle with venison ragù cannot be served over a layer of melted butter: instead, change the name of the dish and specify that it contains butter. When it was served, the dish was returned and replaced with a cheaper one, but this substitution wasn't noted on the bill; there could have been more attention. When we pointed this out, we were told that the ragù dish had to be thrown away (which wasn't true) and therefore should be counted. Assuming it could have actually been thrown away (which clearly wasn't the case, as the dish at our table wasn't even close), there could have been more flexibility in handling the inconvenience. I repeat: the ingredients must be listed; just because you're at a remote mountain hut in Trentino doesn't mean food safety guidelines apply.

27/07/2025: Very nice place, with friendly staff willing to explain in detail any questions you may have about the dishes. We asked about the spaghetti alla poveraccia and were told that they were "nice big" clams, so we decided to order for four of us. After a 20-minute wait (which we had already been informed of when we ordered), a waitress showed up with a large pot and the portions to be served at the table. All was well, except that the "big clams" were simply lupini beans, and the pasta must have been literally 20-30 grams per person. Furthermore, despite these meager portions, the waitress left the pot at the table with an extra forkful per person and some lupini beans, which she could have put directly on the plates to prevent them from getting cold. A real shame, because you could taste the quality of the preparation. It would have been much simpler and more practical to bring the dishes already prepared to the table in adequate portions for the price of 18 euros. Customers should also be told that if more than one person at the table orders the same dish, a single dish will be made to share for the number of people who chose it. What a shame.

27/07/2025: Personale eccellente ed educato, cibi molto buoni. Spaghetti alle vongole si ma non vongole di coltivazione, ma vongole pescate! Fritto misto buonissimo! Prezzi nella norma. Lo consiglio.

22/07/2025: Sono stata in questo ristorante a laigueglia una sera di luglio. Rispetto allo scorso anno è cambiata la gestione, il cibo è nella norma ma nulla di eccezionale. 3 gli inconvenienti: - non trovavano la nostra prenotazione perché avevano capito Sara anziché Chiara; ci mettono quindi su un tavolino fuori dal dehor sostenendo che non avessimo prenotato. Peccato che il tavolino era traballante e ho dovuto farmelo cambiare; - come secondo ordiniamo un fritto di calamari e gamberi ma il cameriere capisce fritto misto, il cameriere mi dice che gli avevo detto fritto misto al momento dell‘ordinazione, assolutamente no mai mangiato fritto misto in vita mia figuriamoci se lo ordino, onde evitare polemiche non me lo faccio cambiare (anche perché non me l’ha proposto) lo mangio lo stesso … anche se non era quello che avevo ordinato. Consiglio un mini corso di italiano. Sinceramente non lo consiglio e non ci tornerò. 2 antipasti 1 fritto misto acqua 59€ direi caro
