20/11/2025: Villa Romano is a guarantee. I celebrated my graduation party here, a significant milestone celebrated in a fantastic location. From the first meeting, even before booking, I sensed the professionalism of Marco and every single member of his team. Their strong point is their welcoming atmosphere, which truly makes you feel at home. Everyone smiles, every single waiter—a truly excellent team. Everything was impeccable, the food was excellent, everything was exactly as described, with attention to every detail. The attention to detail was simply marvelous. We will definitely be back to experience another Villa Romano event.

14/10/2025: I didn't like the practically mandatory "aperitivo in cantina" tax upon arrival, costing 40 euros for two people. And then the restaurant was hosting a wedding, so our four-course menu lasted four hours. That's practically one course per hour. It was endless.

20/11/2025: Eating at this restaurant is a truly unique experience. The place itself is unusual, and the owner even more so. The concept: - No menu; the menu is presented verbally, and you choose between three primis and secondis. For the antipasti, you'll have several dishes laid out on the table in a relaxed, informal style. * A nice touch is the middle course with a spoonful of gorgonzola! - Prices range from 50 to 60 euros per person, including wine. Please note: cash only! Everything was delicious, and Luciano's wonderful atmosphere was a real highlight! A must-visit, but book well in advance.

16/11/2025: I recommend booking well in advance, otherwise you won't find a table. The menu is fixed, with variations for first and second courses. It's not à la carte! Everything is included, even wine...basically, it's all you can eat. Excellent restaurant, well done!!!

12/10/2025: We had dinner at Don Peppe and it was absolutely delicious. The building is beautiful with a cozy atmosphere. Chef Vincenzo and his staff were incredibly welcoming and were happy to accommodate our request to get the pistachio pasta without prawns. The deserts we had were incredible and we could not more highly recommend Don Peppe. This is a small restaurant so it is best to make a reservation to ensure your seat.

11/11/2025: This restaurant deserves a 5 in every way. Every dish is an explosion of flavors in your mouth, and there's a research and attention to detail that doesn't go unnoticed. Kudos to the entire staff, especially Matteo. And as I told you in person, if I lived in Pescara, I'd come there for lunch and dinner every day. You're the best 🤩🫶

Located on a beautiful street in Bari Vecchia, Il Fortino awaits you with very courteous and welcoming staff, and with Mrs. Enza who makes her customers feel at home. 28/08/2025: I took a four-day surfing course. It was a great fit for my level, and I learned a lot. Now I feel more confident on my own. 😊 We also went sailing with a skipper for two hours. Very enjoyable and well-informed! The center is really great because you can try out so many things there, and the spot is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There's also a restaurant with delicious food.

27/08/2025: Massive thanks to the team at Windsquare Watersports for helping us get a great sail on the Hobie Tiger F18. John really couldn’t have been more helpful — great communication and absolute enthusiasm for sailing (and that’s from the perspective of being an RYA dinghy instructor myself). The F18 definitely needs some prior experience if you want to sail it without an instructor, but the team can get you to that stage if that’s what you’re aiming for. We sailed three-up as a family, and between us have many decades of sailing experience. We all agreed that the sail on Garda with the F18 was one of the best sails we’ve ever had! Windsquare is a fantastic place to go for all levels of instruction and hire on Lake Garda. We researched carefully before we went and absolutely made the right choice. Now keen to do some more F18 sailing...it really is a buzz! (BTW reading a review below...we waited during the morning until John thought conditions were right as there was thunder and lightning brewing...we were more than happy to take his advice; they are the experts on what's happening on on the lake and it's a really nice place to hang around anyway + with the free parking)

The batter was perfect, but above all, the most delicious and surprising dessert I've had in the last 20 years. The service was impeccable, anticipating our needs. 29/10/2025: The pastry shop is amazing. We've always had good food there, both for lunch and dinner. The aperitivo is also good. It's a little more expensive than average in this area, but it's worth the extra cost.

My only regret after a very nice evening was paying €15 for 15 slices of cake, equivalent to €1 per slice (the cake was purchased from the local pastry shop, after all) seems very, very excessive, and in any case, you should at least be polite enough to mention it beforehand. .

The restaurant was spectacular: delicious dishes, high-quality ingredients, and excellent service. A place we will definitely return to. Highly recommended!

23/11/2025: A delightful discovery. I was in Mandello for a visit to relatives, looking for somewhere to have lunch, and without a reservation (Sunday lunchtime), they sat me at a comfortable table near the counter. The dishes are few, but truly well-made, featuring local flavors (Minsoltini, Persico, Lavarello, etc.), but with a contemporary twist. The portions are fairly generous, the wine list is decent (it's an Osteria, after all), and the service is fast and always smiling, despite the restaurant being full. My compliments!
