08/10/2025: We were greeted with simplicity, kindness, and care. While ordering, we were repeatedly warned that the portions were generous, so as not to overdo it. This attention to detail is truly rare and delightful, both for its respect for the customer and its ability to prevent waste. The quality of the ingredients is truly excellent, and the recipes are traditional but with some truly original combinations. I recommend booking; on a Monday night, the place was fully booked. 03/10/2025: We ate at this beautiful place for the first time on my birthday. What can I say? It's truly a beautiful, well-kept, clean, and quaint place. The woman who served us was incredibly kind and available to answer any questions and offer advice on the food. We ordered several items to try as many dishes as possible...the inevitable pizzoccheri, fabulous risotto with bresaola and bitto, a stunning cold cuts and cheese platter, sciatt (my favorite dish) among the best I've ever eaten, and then the polenta taragna, to die for, all washed down with the truly delicious house wine. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough dessert because the portions are so generous. I highly recommend it to anyone who, like me, loves Valtellina and its traditional dishes. I'll definitely be back soon. I'm curious to try the other dishes, which looked really inviting. So, see you soon, and thanks again for everything.

Nor is it a given to find yourself in an environment where the courtesy of Luca, Carolina, and Alessia lets you savor the dishes with genuine pleasure. We ate very well, yes, but we also had fun. 13/10/2025: Sapio is a must-visit for those seeking an authentic fine dining experience with meticulous attention to detail. The minimalist and refined setting exudes a sense of calm and elegance that immediately puts you at ease. The staff is impeccable: kind, attentive, and always discreet, never intrusive. We chose the seafood tasting menu: a true journey of flavors, harmonious and surprising from start to finish. Each course was a small masterpiece, enhanced by a rich and well-selected wine list. The price is slightly above average for a Michelin star, but absolutely justified by the quality of the experience and the caliber of the cuisine. Sapio maintains a rare balance between elegance, creativity, and hospitality. Definitely worth a try.

06/10/2025: Going to Sapio is an experience in itself, and chef Alessandro Ingiulla, with his elaborate and sometimes seemingly simple creations, turns dishes into true delights. So if you want a different experience, book a table at Sapio.

05/10/2025: Nice, welcoming place, impeccable service. I was there recently, a large table was organized, what can I say? Excellent food, but very small portions, especially for the appetizers. Otherwise, everything else was good.

24/09/2025: We were looking for somewhere to eat without having to go in to the centre of Lecce and found this place on Google and decided to give it a try and we were very glad we did. It’s located down a quiet country road just outside Frigole and looks quite unassuming but don’t let that put you off. The owner gave us a very warm welcome and the option to eat inside or out and then explained the menu to us as well as suggesting wine to go with our food. The food was excellent, something a little different but delicious. It was a quite Tuesday night so not too many other diners but I can imagine at the weekends it gets full with local people.
