Traditional cuisine, delicate and tasty. The mixed starters and the possibility of making a mix of first courses and desserts are excellent. All the desserts are also very good. Nice atmosphere, even if the place is small and difficult to access (a narrow street with stairs). Excellent value for money. The owner is very nice and friendly and takes care to explain the individual dishes.

Let me start by saying that it is not the first time I have been there but today I decided to share my experience. Suggestive location, at the foot of Montevergine, in the historic center of Mercogliano, literally built on the rock (also visible on one wall of the restaurant). Good choice of wines and fair prices. Spectacular appetizer, refined combinations but which do not differ too much from the Irpinian tradition, same thing for first courses, second courses and desserts. Polite and knowledgeable staff, they tell you everything you need, course by course. No one gives you success and that of this place is more than deserved. Obviously I will be returning soon and I can only recommend it. PS: the first ones you see in the photo had been divided in half, so they are bigger in reality.

Tutto perfetto, ormai siamo clienti affezionati da tempo

Nonostante l’occasione fosse un matrimonio e quindi un menu concordato, abbiamo fatto un viaggio in Irpinia tra sapori e ingredienti genuini e del territorio, cucinati con passione e competenza. Antipasti veraci e buonissimi, maccaronara incredibile, forse solo la carne di maiale è stata un gradino sotto il resto. Vale la pena salire tutti gli scalini che portano al ristorante…

Osteria tipica irpina ubicata vicino al Municipio di Mercogliano..buoni i vari antipasti serviti e la zuppa di castagne...da migliorare i primi (nella maccaronara si sentiva troppo l aglio)...prezzi nella media tranne il vino della casa servito in brocca a 16 euro al litro ( 1/2 litro 8euro). Caffè offerto.
