03/09/2025: Fantastic, excellent cuisine, super fresh fish: I had spaghetti with clams (no tomato sauce), an incredible amount of super fresh clams. My wife had fish skewers and fried fish—a bit of both allowed, excellent. Then I had tiramisu, and my wife a mix of ciambellone and cherry tart. It brought a tear to my eye because both the pasta and desserts were just like my mom used to make 🥲 delicious, delicious, delicious! Highly recommended. If I'm in the area, I'll definitely be back. Very fair pricing.

01/09/2025: 2 hot and cold appetizers (but it was worth 1), a mixed fried fish dish, half a liter of house wine, and 1 coffee, €70. Too much for having eaten so little, and the clams were all closed.

06/10/2025: Marco is an excellent host. He offers a culinary experience not just a meal. His menu offers an incredible diversity to satisfy every visitor. Not only are the menu options perfectly paired but Marco personally recommends a wine that pairs well with each selection. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the gelato! I have travelled all of Italy and own a home there. His gelato is hands down the absolute best I’ve ever had. If you are looking for an experience off the beaten path, try 53040 in Cetona, Italy. The setting in this ancient village in the background accents the experience with a flair of Italian culture and truly Tuscan cuisine!

06/10/2025: My family and I were staying in Cetona from Canada. I have Celiac disease which can make eating a little more challenging in new places. We specifically chose the Pizzeria for its gluten free options and they did NOT disappoint!! From the appetizer to the pasta to the dessert this was hands down one of the best meals I’ve had during my time Italy. The atmosphere was cozy and oozed local charm, the service was wonderful. If you’re in the area I definitely recommend!!

05/11/2025: A fantastic location that reflects the Hyblean style, with friendly and professional staff. The gluten-free options for celiacs on the entire menu are not to be overlooked. We had dinner with an appetizer and main course (on the staff's recommendation), which turned out to be delicious!

16/11/2025: A lovely restaurant near the Central Station. The restaurant is large and bright, spread over two floors, with numerous waiters and maître d's. The menu is extensive, with a wide selection of appetizers, first courses, and second courses. I had the chateaubriand with a side of vegetables, and for starters, the octopus with potatoes and goose pâté. Both were delicious. To finish, I had the deconstructed cannoli. This restaurant is recommended for those who want to eat well and have a wide selection of dishes.

The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome, especially since, in our case, we didn't speak Italian; they understood us perfectly. THANK YOU SEBA!!! 28/09/2025: A stay filled with warmth and kindness From the very first moment, we were welcomed with open arms. The owners of this beautiful family run inn were waiting for us outside with so much warmth and joy, which immediately made us feel at home. Knowing we were arriving late, they even offered to take us to a nearby pizzeria for dinner such a thoughtful and caring gesture. The rooms were newly renovated, spotless, and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and I was touched to receive homemade gluten free options, which were not only thoughtful but also incredibly tasty. What made this stay unforgettable was the kindness of the family. Their hospitality, from beginning to end, was beyond perfect. They truly remain in our hearts, and we are so grateful to have found them along our journey. We sincerely wish them all the success in the world, and we wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for more than just a stay an experience filled with love and care.

27/10/2025: We stayed at Hotel Ristorante La Sorgente for 5 days, and I can confidently say that the family running the business is amazing. Tina, Davide, and Linda are very friendly, kind, warm and overall lovely. They went out of their way to help my wife and I during our stay whenever we needed help. The views from the hotel are wonderful, and the rooms are very clean and always smell great. The road leading up to the hotel is windy and fun to drive on, and it's only 10 minutes or so from the downtown core. Overall, I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

23/10/2025: We loved the food at this restaurant. Everything was fast and delicious. Sitting by the sea, it was very romantic. At first, we were hesitant about the film around the tables, but then we realized it was a great idea, as cars drive nearby, and the film allows you to eat without breathing in exhaust fumes. The only downside is that the toilet stall doesn't close, but I think this is temporary and will be fixed soon. 😇Otherwise, everything is fine. Good luck to you 🎉

01/10/2025: A truly positive experience. A very cute place with a spectacular wine selection. And most importantly, it wasn't touristy!!! Excellent, plentiful food at very fair prices. The raw ham and appetizer selection were excellent. The owner and staff were kind and helpful, even joking around with our 6-year-old daughter. What can I say? See you next time in Catania!
