22/11/2025: We had the tasting menu and matching wines and every course and every wine was superb. They stick to local wines and foods and the preparation, presentation and taste were exceptional. I can see why Michelin rated them and I think they deserve a star. It was a quiet night hr but we were treated with good attention and the pace was excellent: not too fast or rushed. The highlight was probably the dish from locally foraged mushrooms: probably the best mushrooms I’ve ever had and that includes porcini and girolles. The umami was fabulous. To be fair each dish also went so well together that you felt this was a well curated menu with the richness increasing as you progressed: starting with a lightly marinated raw scampi dish and ending with a marscapone and jelly with carob wafers.

24/10/2025: A real treat - we managed to walk in without a booking in October and had some amazing food. Delicious natural wine, one of the best desserts I’ve ever had and really helpful, friendly service.

21/09/2025: We stumbled upon this lovely restaurant by chance, and the staff were very friendly and professional. We had a truly excellent appetizer of culatello and parmesan biscuits, followed by a porcini mushroom, stracchino, and asparagus risotto that was exquisite. The staff were very kind, and the price was right. CONGRATULATIONS, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

05/08/2025: Uno dei migliori ristoranti in cui abbia mai mangiato a mani bassi. Fortunatamente ero ospite, ma i prezzi per i menù degustazione sono assolutamente alla portata di (quasi) tutti! Al di la del cibo che era sensazionale, la cosa che più ci ha colpito è stata la professionalità dei giovani in sala. Un servizio stellato, ma con una leggerezza che fa sentire a proprio agio nonostante il livello della ristorazione. Veramente complimenti! (Carta vini molto interessante!)

27/07/2025: Abbiamo avuto il piacere di tornare alla Trattoria Contemporanea di Lomazzo per festeggiare il nostro anniversario di matrimonio, e devo dire che è stata una piacevole conferma di quanto già avevamo apprezzato in passato. L’atmosfera è accogliente e raffinata, perfetta per un’occasione speciale come questa. Il personale è sempre gentile e attento, rendendo il momento ancora più speciale. La cucina, come sempre, è deliziosa: piatti curati, sapori autentici e presentazioni eleganti. È stato davvero un modo splendido per celebrare il nostro anniversario, e sicuramente torneremo ancora per rivivere questa esperienza così piacevole. Consiglio vivamente questa trattoria a chi cerca un luogo intimo e di qualità a Lomazzo!

26/10/2025: This review is for Zeus Sky Bar only as we didn’t eat at the restaurant. We arrived without a reservation about an hour before sunset (in June), and were seated straightaway. I’m not exaggerating when I say the view is absolutely breathtaking, even all the stunning photos shared here cannot do it justice- it has to be seen to be believed. We did the 20€pp aperitivo option, which included a signature cocktail and a selection of antipasti. The cocktails were beautiful and delicious. We stayed long after sunset and loved it so much that before leaving, we booked a table for our last night in Sestri Levante, a couple of days later! We fell in love with Sestri Levante on this holiday, and this rooftop bar really shows it off in all its glory.

17/10/2025: A pleasant and relaxing experience, with professional, polite, and always helpful waitstaff. I was particularly impressed by Mirko, a young, polite, and very helpful man. I will definitely return next year with my wife and son to sample the restaurant's specialties and enjoy the refined, warm atmosphere.

20/10/2025: We chose Palia's Hotel as a strategic base for exploring Calabria's parks by bike, and it was a great choice. Ample parking, including a covered car park, a private garage for bicycles (with tools for minor maintenance available), comfortable and clean rooms, and the kindness and enthusiasm of Roberto (the owner), who, along with his wife (an excellent pastry chef), recommended and prepared superb breakfasts for us, making themselves available for any needs we had. It's a shame they no longer have a restaurant, but the bar is well-stocked, and there's a large display of excellent local products you can purchase to create a wonderful memory of these beautiful lands. Thanks again.

Pasta al ragù per il bambino con all’interno un filo di metallo probabilmente lasciato da qualche spugna usata per lavare le pentole, visto ad occhio nudo appena portato il piatto. Tagliatelle con spezzato di manzo immangiabili, l’unico gusto che si sentiva era il rosmarino. Pasta scotta. Gnocchi al ragu’ d’anatra dove il ragù in realtà era mantecato. Petto d’anatra dove l’unico gusto che si sentiva era la salsa che sovrastava qualsiasi altro sapore. 110 euro in 3 per aver mangiato in modo terribile. A mai più!

14/07/2025: We stayed at this agriturismo for only two nights, but everything was top-notch. The location is perfect for visiting the parks, the rooms, and the breakfast were all fantastic. The owners were welcoming and discreet, the food was excellent, and we'll definitely return. Highly recommended.

18/11/2025: I had dinner with my son at this place, which I can barely call a restaurant because it's more welcoming, familiar, pleasant, and authentic than your average place to eat. It's a small, intimate space where a few diners are welcomed warmly and in a genuine, family atmosphere, allowing them to fully experience the history and history of plin and tajarin. Furthermore, the space is inspiring and artistically decorated. Excellent food, wine, and service. Worth a try.

15/11/2025: Not a huge place, but definitely full of character. The agnolotti are exquisite, as are the meats, and the entrees are original and delicious. The zabaglione is amazing. The service was simply perfect: welcoming, precise, and attentive. Excellent!
