22/05/2025: I have been to this restaurant several times and each time I leave more and more satisfied. Varied menu that changes regularly, fresh and divinely prepared products, with unexpected combinations. The portions are also right. Excellent service, welcoming atmosphere with a beautiful open kitchen. Excellent quality/price ratio, I highly recommend!

19/05/2025: Il locale AL CANTUCCIO è grande poco più di un salotto di casa, ha circa 10/12 tavoli, da qui il nome AL CANTUCCIO: quindi il primo consiglio è quello di prenotare per tempo se volete andarvi per cenare. La settimana scorsa (infra settimana è più tranquillo ed è più facile trovare un tavolo per 2/4 persone anche il giorno prima) ci siamo trovati in 2 coppie ed abbiamo trovato posto facilmente. Si trova nel centro di Rho, in Via Garibaldi, 57 a pochi passi dalla Chiesa di San Vittore. Entrando ti accorgi subito che parte della clientela è habitué, altro fattore positivo. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e tutto quello che abbiamo ordinato è risultato di qualità eccellente. Parlando con l’affabile proprietario Davide ci ha riferito che i piatti realizzati prendono spunto dalle basi della cucina Artusi e vengono cambiati mediamente ad ogni stagione. In 4 abbiamo ordinato 2 piatti a testa: Spada Affumicato, Aringa Affumicata ed un Primo di Pasta con pesce, per poi passare ai secondi con Ombrina, Insalata di Polpo, e Coniglio, il tutto innaffiato da 1 Litro e Mezzo di Bianco Mosso della Casa, 4 dessert e caffe. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo, dal mio punto di vista, è risultato ottimo: Euro 37,50 cadauno. L’aspetto importante è che si mangia davvero bene spendendo il giusto (a pranzo tra l’altro promozioni di lavoro, ma rispettando il menù giornaliero a 19 Euro). Davvero una bella serata, presente un parcheggio pubblico a 50 metri, gratuito dopo le 19.00. Vi invito a provarlo se non lo conoscete ancora.

25/05/2025: Il nome che si sono dati rispecchia a pieno il loro modo di lavorare. È un’altra storia di nome e di fatto. Ma andiamo con ordine partiamo con il contesto: parliamo di una festa per una comunione preparata mesi prima. Ci propongono 2 menu equilibrati che appunto raccontano il mare o la terra con una strizzata d’occhio alla tradizione. Abbiamo scelto il menu di terra. Antipasto ricco fatto di prodotti di altissima qualità. Mozzarella, crudo, salame. Si passa al caldo e qui la tradizione esplode con eleganza. Parmigiana di melanzane esplosiva lo dobbiamo dire a mestiere. Ancora millefoglie di zucchine e per finire una sfera di scottona su purè di patate e qui abbiamo fatto il botto. Si passa ai primi con trofie con zucchine e salsiccia e al secondo primo risotto zucca e provola. Lo chiamerei la delicatezza dopo tanta forza dei precedenti piatti. Ma non ci fermiamo ancora il secondo un filetto di maiale cotto a bassa temperature che si tagliava con la forchetta il coltello diventava un fastidio sul tavolo. Frutta accompagnata con un vesuvietto di gelato ripieno di limone, ma che cosa straordinaria. Tutto innaffiato da un aglianico con una struttura importante che ben sposa i piatti descritti. Personale dolcissimo e simpaticissimo, non invadente, ma sempre presenti e pronti. Prezzo assolutamente in linea con i prodotti e il servizio offerto. Bravi e complimenti. Da ritornare per nuove emozioni!

05/06/2025: Really nice place located under the Bracciano castle, combinations of flavors not obvious, I appreciated it a lot. Young chef but with experience and creativity. The girl who served us was not only good but also nice. A perfect dinner for me.

03/06/2025: These guys and this Chef deserve 10 and honors. First of all the welcome, the patience, the kindness and the professionalism. Then each dish was a work of art, an unexpected combination of flavors, a couple of examples: tacos with shrimp, truffle and stracciatella; octopus with berries. We were a group of ten and it was Easter day. So this difficulty coefficient alone makes everything much more appreciated. We ordered à la carte, almost everything is cooked fresh so it is possible to make special requests. Just one note: having only one bathroom for the entire restaurant on such a busy day it would have been necessary to clean the toilet at least every two hours, if not more often. Unfortunately most people are uncivilized, but that is not a good reason to leave the floor wet with urine and covered in pieces of paper for those who care about hygiene and also respect others. Under the sink in the anteroom please put a paper basket. Thank you

28/05/2025: Definitely not for us - family of 6 (kids 25-25-22-13). Only 2 could eat the food, and went someplace else after paying $200 for a meal we couldn’t eat. Do your research.

03/05/2025: In the center of Turin, right under the mole, in a nice and informal environment, you can find all the typical dishes of the Piedmontese tradition, made to perfection and leave fully satisfied. Absolutely worth trying.

28/05/2025: Primi Maggio, partiamo col dire le cose carine sulla nostra cena… a mio marito è piaciuta la grigliata che gli è stata portata, anche l’antipasto non era male. Io e mio figlio, ingolositi dalla bistecca, abbiamo pensato di dividerla in due. Un kg. di carne al costo 70,00 €… Non ho mai visto una bistecca così grassa e nervosa, io mangio veramente di tutto ma non ce l’ho fatta. A parte che non ti chiedono se vuoi la carne più o meno al sangue, però ho dato per scontato che fossero degli integralisti della bistecca… errore blu!!! C’era una parte al simil-sangue, una parte cotta e una al sangue! Arghhh… Quindi parlate chiaramente se volete una bistecca, che non sia ultra grassa e che sia al sangue.

11/06/2025: Restaurant located in an internal street, perpendicular to the lakeside. Outside tables scattered on this narrow path. Which, despite the sadness of the bordering walls, they managed to embellish and camouflage. Average pizza. Good restaurant, very courteous staff. Unfortunately, I think due to the large number of users, the waiting times are medium-high, but we are on vacation! May common sense prevail! Fair prices

11/06/2025: I've tried a few restaurants in Gardone. This is by far the most beautiful restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine, even though it's not directly on the lake. It's still cozy and not a tourist trap. They also don't employ cheap labor from faraway countries like everywhere else.

03/06/2025: We passed by the restaurant and asked if there was still a table available for two. It was outside, but the weather was good enough. The dishes were very good. The staff was friendly and helpfull, nice place in Cannobio tot have dinner but a reservation upfront is a good idea.

17/05/2025: I went to the business brunch today with a dear friend as a guest. We were amazed by the delicacy of the food, the beauty of the place and the meticulous attention to service. The boy who served us throughout the lunch deserves a special mention because it's been years since I've found so much passion and care in the service. I sincerely hope that his professionalism will be adequately recognized because in addition to the undeniable mastery of the chefs, our experience was magical also thanks to his thoughtful care. Moreover, attention (unfortunately in 2025 not yet so obvious) to intolerances and food choices is truly commendable.
