05/09/2025: Guys! 4.7 points. Are you guys??? We went to this restaurant today because of the many good reviews. It's out of the way, no outside seating - yes, we knew that. Narrow street, no parking - the four parking spaces up there seem to always be occupied (I was there yesterday - they were all full too). No problem, back to the roundabout and then up the hill on foot, no problem. Once inside, however, climbing the tiled stairs wasn't exactly inviting. Upstairs, the smell of cleaning products and filth was off-putting - but you were hoping for some good food... The waiter, a funny guy. A bit too funny... was he trying to distract you? The food arrived quite quickly: the pizza was hot but soggy. The taste didn't live up to expectations (4.7). The mixed salad - absolutely nothing special, leaves carelessly thrown into a bowl. Then my "tentacoulo gigante" (squid) - how I was looking forward to it! A small pile of short squid arms arranged on two slices of bread, which served as a place to absorb the fat. Unfortunately, the pile was cold - how on earth could the giant cool down so quickly??? The accompanying fried potato chips were still hot - but dripping with grease... and half burned... The whole thing had a Gorgonzola flavor: not positively Gorgonzola-like, but rather undefined, unfresh. I couldn't help thinking of Verleihnix, the fishmonger in Asterix and Obelix... mentally, my gigantic fresh fish flew through the window... quickly paid, and off I went. On the way down, a quick trip to the bathroom, which was just as fruitless... (a chamber of horrors). Having accomplished nothing, we left the place and ordered a double espresso at the hotel. (To be fair, I have to say that the draft beer, water, and canned colas were quite good.)

01/09/2025: The sweet and sour vegetable main course with 4 vegetables and 20g of polenta certainly can't be considered a main course, especially at the modest price of €15. It's a shame, because the staff was friendly and the view is wonderful.

16/08/2025: A family-run trattoria serving quality local produce. The maccheroni al torchio with game ragù is excellent. The wine list is impressive.

27/07/2025: For me, it's the best trattoria in the province. Simple, welcoming, and authentic. The food is excellent. I'm celiac, and they have options for me, too. A place where you feel at home, simply inimitable.

12/07/2025: We slept in the room adjacent to the restaurant and had a great time. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast, freshly prepared in the room, was a wonderful experience, thanks in part to the fresh, high-quality ingredients. The dinner at the restaurant deserves special mention, with excellent dishes at a fair price. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. We'll be back... recommended.

03/09/2025: We all had a very full meal and enjoyed the atmosphere. There was a wide variety of dishes, the atmosphere was great, and the service staff was very polite. The hostess was very welcoming ❤️

07/09/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant to break up the journey from Rome to Bari, and I chose it for its excellent reviews and traditional local dishes. The approach was friendly and attentive, right from the phone call to make the reservation, which continued throughout the fast, attentive, professional, and friendly service. All the dishes are worth trying! We opted for the cod with cruschi peppers and a selection of delicious vegetable sides, made with fresh ingredients, full of flavor and beautifully cooked. Tomatoes and bell peppers are the main ingredients, along with the dairy products. Delicious homemade honeycomb bread accompanied everything. We'll be back!

20/09/2025: I had dinner with my mother, a true Ciociara daughter, and we enjoyed the thin pasta with meat sauce, which were on par with the ones my grandmother used to make for me.

12/09/2025: For a good experience, I recommend sticking to the excellent first courses and the house wine, which are excellent value. Avoid the appetizers and main courses, as in my opinion, they aren't as good in quality and quantity as the first courses (hence the three stars). The manager is friendly, so I'd like to offer two pieces of advice: provide detailed receipts detailing the various costs to avoid misunderstandings, given the monumental number of bad practices, especially near tourist destinations, and leave a courtesy light in the bathroom to prevent the step from causing dangerous tripping. I'm surprised the restaurant has over 1,500 reviews and an average of 4.8 stars, numbers that are rare, even in major cities.

06/09/2025: Great place for vacation. The hotel has all that is needed to make your stay wonderful. Close to the sea, extremely friendly staff, great meals, extremely friendly behaviour towards children, funny evenings with typical italian shows.. 3 swimming pools, one of which is on the 6th floor with incredible view... Well the stay is not cheap. But you get what you pay for.

08/08/2025: For the fourth time at the Bibione Palace... Today I had a "super" experience with the gentleman at the towel counter. At least since today I know he can speak, since he normally can't even say good morning, even if you, as a guest, say it to him aggressively. There are four of us and we had six towels (we had received them the days before without any problems). This was such a big problem that I was told in an unfriendly manner, "only one towel per person, those are the rules." Understandable, given a "bargain price" of over €5,000 for eight days with half board; washing one more towel is a real pain. He could have simply explained in a friendly manner, like the employee who came to see me afterwards, that I should get another token at reception, then it wouldn't have been a problem.

31/08/2025: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! The staff is welcoming and very kind! They make you feel at home... The house appetizers are really good and the portions are very large! I WOULD GLADLY GO BACK!!!

30/08/2025: Today we returned to this magnificent place for lunch and were impressed by the consistently high quality of the authentic cuisine, made with top-quality ingredients. It was a symphony of flavors, and we also thoroughly enjoyed the rabbit, even though it's also our signature dish from the Murgia Barese area. A must-visit for anyone interested in Ischian cuisine!

05/09/2025: We decided to dine at Agavos, drawn by the Fork discount, but above all by the reviews and the charming location. Our expectations were not disappointed, but actually exceeded by the experience we were greeted with. A relaxing atmosphere, meticulous attention to detail, excellent cuisine, professional and friendly staff, and finally, a quality music selection. After dinner, we spent time chatting with Paola, the restaurant manager, and Chef Joseph. We met two extraordinary people who do their work with great passion and dedication, and that always makes the difference. Thank you for the unforgettable experience you gave us!!

13/09/2025: The hospitality and service were excellent. We ordered the cantuccio appetizer, beautifully presented and prepared with fresh fish. The octopus with fresh porcini mushrooms was excellent, the fried mushrooms were exceptional, and the paccheri with sea bass and vegetables in a white sauce were delicious. Everything was simple but refined and high-quality. Prices were in line with the service offered.

13/09/2025: Tonight I dined at Cantuccio Insaporito in Vado Ligure, and I left feeling truly satisfied. It's one of those places where you enter already convinced it will be a pleasant evening: the atmosphere is welcoming, well-maintained, and decorated with tasteful materials. The chairs—note: very comfortable—make all the difference, especially after a long day. The dishes are prepared with refined care. This evening, they featured a seasonal ingredient that I particularly love: fresh porcini mushrooms. The porcini and octopus dish was absolutely memorable—perfectly balanced, with intense yet not overpowering flavors. The appetizer offered a selection of tastings, all of the highest quality. I was particularly impressed by the oyster: fresh, well-cleaned, and served just right. The seafood pasta dishes are also very rich in seafood—you can taste the quality, well-measured, and well-prepared catch. The wine list is extensive and comprehensive: there's something for everyone, with labels that also draw on local producers, showcasing the local area without overdoing it. Although the price is in the mid-to-high range, the quality and experience more than justify it. If you need to choose a restaurant to celebrate something or simply treat yourself to a dinner that leaves you with no regrets, this is the place to be.

29/08/2025: Simple but welcoming and very clean place. Fresh seafood specialties and delicious oysters from the best selections (try their San Michele...). Good wine list and Champagne suitable for the type of menu proposed, some imported directly. Good variety of raw fish also proposed in recipes with reinterpretations of regional Italian specialties (the parmigiana: caramelized aubergine with burrata and red prawn, an absolute must try) It does NOT make first courses such as pasta and risotto but there are several valid alternatives. Friendly and very knowledgeable staff. Good value for money

06/08/2025: A lovely, simple, and welcoming place, with a delicate aroma of grilled food welcoming you as soon as you enter. Excellent service from friendly, talented staff. The food is fantastic, each dish better than the last, thanks to the excellent ingredients and the various expertly crafted combinations, making for a fantastic experience. The only things I didn't appreciate were the oddly laid out menu, which forced me to flip back and forth (and I ended up ordering the wrong thing, luckily everything was delicious). The lack of a coherent reading of the dishes, and the acoustics, which become quite loud and annoying when it starts to fill up. Perhaps sound-absorbing panels on the ceiling and in some corners would improve the situation. In any case, a place worth trying and definitely returning to. 5 out of 5 stars without a doubt.

16/06/2025: Posti come questo sono quelli che mi fanno amare la Toscana. Nel bel mezzo delle campagne senesi si trova questa oasi di relax, a pieno contatto con la natura e gli animali. Io ci sono stato solo per cena, ma le premesse sono ottime anche per passarci qualche giorno in più. In una calda serata primaverile mi sono goduto una gustosa cena nel loro splendido giardino in un'atmosfera rilassante. Il menù lo comunicano il giorno stesso, io ho comunque optato per la fiorentina che si è rivelata da dieci. Ho provato anche un piccolo antipasto con crostini misti molto saporiti anche questi. Da sottolineare anche la birra e il vino di autoproduzione. Sono stato davvero bene e se dovessi ripassare in zona sicuramente ci farò un pensiero.

20/09/2025: Excellent food at Da Piero! The tuna tartare appetizer was fresh and delicious, and the grilled octopus was perfectly prepared. The crowning glory: a tiramisu that was probably the best of my life. Top-notch service and excellent value for money – a clear 5 stars!

19/09/2025: We had a lovely dinner here. The food was excellent albeit a little retro in style (as we have found in a number of smarter restaurants on Elba - lots of purées / arty smears etc). Good wine list and lovely setting too - a really warm, welcoming room - beautifully lit and stylishly done. We were very well looked after by Sophie and all staff were friendly and efficient.
