Next2 In Positano

The appetizers were amazing and made me really look forward to the rest of the dishes. However, my expectations were too high. In comparison, the first and second courses were rather mediocre. The lamb chops I ordered for the second course were half burnt. I hope they can improve on that. There weren't many customers at the time.

The best restaurant I tried in Positano! Sophisticated food, extremely tasty, and a true gastronomic experience, unlike most restaurants in the region. The service was impeccable: attentive, kind, and without any rush. We were able to enjoy the meal calmly, without pressure to free up the table. Everything was delicious. An experience I would certainly repeat and highly recommend!

An absolute gem in Positano! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with the warmest hospitality and truly exceptional service. Every member of the staff made us feel special, and their attention to every detail was outstanding. The food was simply incredible—every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavor, and prepared to perfection. The wine recommendation was fantastic and elevated the entire dining experience. Dining at Next2 was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. If you’re visiting Positano, this restaurant is an absolute must. Without a doubt, the best restaurant in Positano, and one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. Highly recommended!

Great service, food, and atmosphere. The type of elevated dining experience you come to Italy for. Can choose to spend a lot or a little. I think the service matches regardless.

Had our final dinner of Positano at Next 2 and was wonderful! No clue how this restaurant hasn’t earned a Michelin star yet! Very creative dishes and all were delicious. Had a great local white wine from Ravello as well. I feel like the price was very reasonable for the experience! $220 euros for a bottle of wine, 4 split dishes and a cream brûlée. They also provided the small bites to start and finish along with bread service and homemade smoked buffalo butter, which was not only delicious the 1st offering of butter in Italy in two weeks! Eat here if you are looking for a special 2 hour dinner.

My wife and I had a lovely dinner at Next2 - one of our top dinner spots in Positano. It offered a perfect blend of excellent food, friendly service, and classy atmosphere. While Next2 isn’t cheap, we felt it was well worth the price. The food was amazing. We ordered the burrata with tomatoes for an appetizer (10/10), seafood risotto (9/10), gnocchi with fresh truffle (10/10), lamb chops (7/10), and chocolate dessert (9/10). Everything tasted delicious and was served with beautiful presentation. The cocktails were good but nothing memorable, which I expect for a €20+ cocktail. The waiter paired our meal with a bottle of orange wine, which was excellent and fit our meal selections beautifully. The service was also exceptional. The waiters and table runners were attentive, kind, funny, and genuinely seemed excited to serve us. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we ended up having a 3.5 hour dinner here! If you’re looking for an elegant, “special occasion” night in Positano with decent views of the water, Next2 is it!

The sea bass was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I greatly appreciated how accommodating the staff was with my gluten-free needs. Excellent food and service!

THE best meal and experience we had in Italy. We started our trip in Rome and then stayed in Positano for a few days, this is the best experience (mid 30s couple). Service is beyond incredible, welcoming, caring but delicate and not overwhelming, a white tablecloth restaurant without the uptight atmosphere. The balance of the flavours, the right twist on the traditional meals, the coherence of the decor (+ the view obv).. all excellent! A week back and this is still the only meal we talk about.
