19/10/2025: Lovely place. Fast and courteous service (perhaps a little too fast given the cold food). It's a shame about the bench seating, which isn't ideal for those with back pain, but certainly very rustic.

24/11/2025: We were a party of four. The atmosphere was elegant, very warm and welcoming. You felt at home and at ease. The dishes were good and satisfying. The only surprise was the final price of the dinner, which in our opinion was rather expensive. That's the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars.

09/11/2025: What can I say? The pizza was delicious, the dough was truly light and easy to digest. Then the dessert was superb, both in quantity, quality, and price... A portion of 8 pancakes with Nutella was only 5 euros, and there were 4 of us eating. Highly recommended, go and try it.

30/11/2025: We ate two truly excellent pizzas. The owner was extremely courteous and told us many details about the business and the history of the establishment. The wood-fired pizza is made with dough that rests for three days before being used – you can really taste the difference. The cappuccino was also superb.

IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER: Dear owner of Baschera, I would like to express my regret for the negative experience, made worse by the unprofessional attitude of the waitress, Chiara, and the owner's unwillingness (she turned her back on us, smoking a vape inside the restaurant) to directly confront the diners. The problem lies not only in the mistake—not having informed half of the group about the conditions of the "athlete's menu"—but in the owner's failure to immediately admit it, instead displaying arrogance and demanding full payment. The acknowledgement of the mistake came only after the negative review, which speaks volumes about the desire to address the issue transparently. Furthermore, according to the waitress, Chiara, the "discount" offered on the €440 total spent by the group would have been only €15. This treatment appears completely inadequate compared to your magical expectations and the type of service promised. It is therefore essential to review the menu communication methods and give customers the opportunity to make an informed choice, given that the famous athlete menu was NOWHERE mentioned. Otherwise, you risk engaging in a practice that could be perceived as unfair, if not misleading. A healthy dose of humility in acknowledging mistakes and respectfully handling customer interactions would certainly do you good. Professionalism is measured by these aspects, not just by positive reviews, which can easily be false. P.S.: I advise the owner to be present on the most important evenings of the week, so as to monitor the cashiers and the phantom owners who are off duty, and thus be able to give a TRUTHFUL response to my review. Unfortunately, several employees were smoking e-cigarettes inside the establishment; it seemed like a common occurrence. I hope this review helps you improve and be more honest with your customers!!

18/12/2025: My first time there As soon as you enter, you're greeted with a warm smile from a waitress. The food is excellent, the rest is superb. A must try (let me start by saying that everyone has their own taste buds).

17/12/2025: A magical place and exquisite food. The local cured meat platters and beef tartare were excellent. The staff was courteous and helpful, although we waited a bit for our food, perhaps because there was a company dinner in the other room.

04/08/2025: I took a week-long vacation in July 2025. It was a wonderful holiday for me. The breakfast was plentiful and varied, catering to all tastes, as was dinner. The owners and staff were very friendly and eager to accommodate every need. The hotel is very close to the city center yet away from the hustle and bustle. Ample parking. Bike rental available (which is a plus), and it's very close to the Alpe Adria cycle path. I highly recommend it.
