12/08/2026: Stumbled upon this restaurant and very glad we did. The food was absolutely amazing, we had the meatball trapizzino as well as the double cream one with anchovies and they were both delicious. We liked it so much we are still thinking about it days later alongside their tiramisu and croquettes (we tried one of each)! It was a very reasonably priced and the waitress was lovely. If you’re in Trieste we’d definitely recommend taking them time to visit.

12/08/2026: Typical spot where you can get the ends of an open-faced, stuffed pizza. Molto buono pasta, a great place to stop. The waitress was friendly and attentive.

02/08/2026: Very good food and reasonable price. The whole family loved it (10 and 13 years old). Nice change to our pizza and pasta of the last week during our Italian trip.

29/07/2026: We were delighted with all the dishes, and after dinner, the staff also treated us to local liqueurs and fresh cherries. I absolutely recommend this place!

06/08/2026: Truly an excellent experience! We visited this seafood restaurant, very fresh and perfectly cooked, with beautifully presented and flavorful dishes. The menu offers a wide selection, but since there were four of us, we opted for a Joy platter, accompanied by a bottle of wine. The platter contained scallops, gratinated mussels, scallops, breaded fillets, fried calamari, and pistachio prawns, all accompanied by sweet potatoes. Everything was truly delicious and plentiful. The staff was kind, attentive, and always available. The atmosphere was elegant and welcoming, ideal for a dinner as a couple or for a dinner with friends. The quality/price ratio was also excellent. I recommend it to anyone who loves good seafood and a relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely be back.

11/08/2026: Update: We returned after a year, and it's still the same. The cannelloni are delicious 😁 Great place, very atmospheric. The food is very good. The prices are higher than in other places, but every dish here is delicious. I hope we can come back for something delicious...

05/07/2026: During a trip to the region, we chose this restaurant somewhat randomly for dinner, and we were delighted. The service and atmosphere were friendly, and the food was truly excellent. I highly recommend the ravioli with lavender sauce—a real treat.

18/08/2026: We arrived early and were greeted with amazing hospitality and service from the team at Ristorante Tommaseo. The food was excellent and the surroundings were very luxurious. We had a very lovely evening and would highly recommend.

19/08/2026: A small trattoria, seating about 25, very charming and well-maintained. The service is truly exceptional, and one of the restaurant's strong points: they explained the entire menu to us with great expertise and passion, explaining the dishes, ingredients, seasonality, and catch freezes. Since we weren't familiar with mussoli, they even brought them to our table to show us and explain how they're cleaned and prepared. This is an uncommon level of customer service. The sardoni in savor and creamed cod were excellent, as were the linguine with scampi and the chicche with sea bream and zucchini. The portions were adequate and the flavors very balanced. We finished with a traditional dessert and were kindly offered two glasses of local passito. €80 for two, including wine, was absolutely fair. Excellent cuisine, but above all, the service truly deserves its 5-star rating.

11/12/2025: A traditional osteria where you feel at home even if you're a tourist. Exquisite traditional and seafood dishes and welcoming staff. We returned the next day. Good value for money.

05/08/2026: At Bella Trieste, I had lunch at this truly special family tavern. For my first course, a plate of cacio e pepe ravioli, accompanied by crispy pancetta to savor it all, truly excellent. Continuing with the meat theme, baked turbot with potatoes, delicious! Excellent food, friendly, super welcoming, and professional staff, who made me feel at ease throughout the entire lunch. I recommend this tavern for anyone looking for a cozy place with traditional specialties. I'll definitely be back!
