04/05/2026: We had a pizza (shallow with a thick crust). Very good. Fast and friendly service. There were 8 of us and we were all served at the same time. Recommended. We had booked to be sure of the time.

02/05/2026: Beautiful restaurant, excellent variety, delicious dishes. I ordered the fried fish and I recommend it to everyone. The staff was kind and helpful, but the only flaw, unfortunately, was the homemade desserts, especially the millefeuille with berries. The cream was shredded and inedible to say the least.

13/05/2026: This is a restaurant with retro decor. It is a friendly local place but service is vety efficient. They have a small menu but with help from the waiting staff we made good choices. The pasta dish was very tasty. We followed with beef and pork, both regional dishes and very good, served with nice vegetables. Wine selection also very good. I would reccomend this restaurant.

09/05/2026: I stopped at this restaurant during a brief stop in Trieste. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The dishes are carefully prepared and the ingredients are excellent. They also offer vegetarian options. The kombucha is excellent and recommended as a lunchtime accompaniment.

05/05/2026: Routes, not always simple, characterised by gravelly sections, but it is worth the effort to explore them.

01/05/2026: Escape to beautiful nature, 10 minutes drive from Koper. The circular route takes about 2 hours, mostly in the shade. Very exposed during strong bora winds, as they blow right across the valley.

09/05/2026: Excellent food and very friendly staff. An intimate and welcoming family-run restaurant. The space is small, so I recommend making a reservation.

01/05/2026: A small side street, Vespas whizzing by... the tables are carefully decorated with greenery, intimately lit, very, very cozy. Excellent service, high-quality food. We hadn't expected so much personality in such a small restaurant. We tried many restaurants in Trieste, but this one was among our favorites.

03/05/2026: We had a delicious pizza, with generous toppings. The place is small and charming, with excellent table service.

28/04/2026: A pizzeria straight out of the 70s. The portions were truly minuscule. The gnocchi, which cost a whopping 15 euros, were clearly store-bought, and we could even hear the microwave. The meat in the Bolognese sauce was practically nonexistent. We left hungry.

26/12/2025: Starting from the premise that this was our favorite seafood restaurant in Trieste, this evening we were unfortunately disappointed by the introduction of some changes: - The linguine with spider crab was decidedly devoid of spider crab meat. - Fried shrimp were usually accompanied by battered vegetables. This time, they were replaced with fried mashed potatoes, and in smaller quantities. - The melon liqueur, usually offered on the house after the meal, has disappeared, replaced by a liquor menu presented before dessert. We would like to clarify that our comments are not directed at the kitchen. We noticed no changes in the flavors, cooking methods, or timing. Our comments are addressed solely to the manager. A shame, really. We'll be back when the spider crabs return to the Cassettin rocks. Until then, we'll set sail for new food and wine destinations.

08/04/2026: Heaven on earth for celiacs 🤩🤩🤩🥰🥰🥰🥰. I arrived in Trieste very late a few nights ago and as always when I travel my fear is not finding anything or almost nothing AIC certified. But, thanks to an Instagram profile I follow, I discovered this wonderful place 🥰. What can I say! Excellent and super nutritious breakfast, welcoming place with attention to the smallest details, kind and qualified staff from those behind the counter to those serving at the tables, a huge selection of products obviously gluten-free but also dairy-free. I will stay for a few days in Trieste and it will be my place of ❤️.

08/04/2026: Excellent experience, finally a top-quality place. All the products are gluten- and lactose-free, from the pastries to the bread, with a truly wonderful variety and always fresh. The quality is top-notch: you can immediately taste the care taken in the raw materials and preparation, unlike packaged or standardized products. The staff is extremely kind, professional, and respectful, always available to explain and advise with expertise and courtesy. The atmosphere is very pleasant, welcoming, and relaxing, and it's truly a pleasure to return each time. It's become my go-to: I go there with pleasure and trust, knowing I'll always find excellent products and impeccable service. Highly recommended. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

21/04/2026: We had a magical evening at the Osteria. The atmosphere was truly wonderful, and the food was fantastic! Many thanks to the incredibly friendly waitress and the amazing (small, but all the more authentic for it) kitchen. We'll definitely be back!
