Historic venue. A very unique place with top-quality seafood. We were recommended the Granzievola, which was truly sublime. One small negative: it's a bit unpleasant to pay €4.50 for a bottle of water, but it's still worth 5 stars because it's truly high-quality.

The starter (gnocchi with squid) was disappointing. The texture was overly thick and felt heavy from the first spoonful. The fish that followed was much better. It was fresh, well cooked and easily the best part of the meal. The service left a mixed impression. The staff were polite enough, but everything happened too quickly. Courses arrived before there was time to settle into the previous one, which made the whole evening feel rushed. What stood out most was the seating arrangement. Several guests who were clearly visiting from abroad were placed in a small, old‑fashioned back room, while others were seated in the more comfortable main area. The difference was noticeable and created an uncomfortable atmosphere. It gave the impression that not all guests were treated with the same level of attention.

A unique fish restaurant in Trieste. The dishes are explained at the table, which alone creates a special atmosphere. The quality of the fish dishes is outstanding, and the portions of each course are perfectly balanced. Furthermore, the service is excellent. A real insider tip for fish lovers.

Located in the city center but on a quiet street, it has retained its old-world charm. The staff is friendly and professional, quick in serving and attentive to the customer's needs. The meals are generous and of excellent quality. We had spider crab as an appetizer, and calamari and cuttlefish for the main course. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. The wine selection was extensive; we enjoyed a glass of Canus Sauvignon Blanc and a glass of Vitovska Kante, both paired well. We didn't order a starter or dessert, but looking at the selection at the nearby tables, it looked very inviting. We'll be back next time we visit the city.

Well, the people of Trieste aren't exactly known for their friendliness. But in this restaurant, there's a wonderful hostess who, with courtesy and attentiveness to her guests, offers advice and guidance on the menu. The fish is incredibly fresh and well-cooked according to tradition, with more than generous portions.
