10/09/2025: HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! I went to get a coffee at the counter, then I got in line to pay (I was first in line). A lady who had ordered food jumped the line and paid, without even looking at us who were in line. Then there was another lady behind who had ordered food and then went to the front. I immediately stopped her and said, "Look, there's a line here." She said, "Hey, I was here." I said, "Yeah, but the line is here." (In a calm tone.) Do you think you're right? I asked her, and she dared to say, "Do you want to fight?" This sentence really left me speechless. Plus, the clerk played along, saying, "Yes, unfortunately, that's how it is." Remember, there are cameras, guys. Don't go there because they're playing favorites, making other customers feel bad!!!

20/08/2025: We dined at the Società Nautica several times during the week of Ferragosto. The new management is truly amazing: their friendliness, warmth, and hospitality made us feel at home! The dishes were incredibly fresh and plentiful. The lagoon appetizer, as pictured, was exceptional. The young waiters were very kind and attentive, and the owners truly pampered us with their delicious Sicilian cannoli. We were fortunate enough to participate in a themed evening with truly pleasant and relaxing musical entertainment. We hope this new management continues like this and we hope to see you soon! 14/07/2025: Excellent gelato shop. Never disappointed (including the cakes and cassatas)! In my opinion, one of the best in the city. I really don't understand the negative reviews (perhaps it was bad luck that we made a mistake with the daily dough? Guys, those who work make mistakes!). I live "there" and go there often. The prices are high, but they are everywhere these days, and gelato, like pizza, is becoming a luxury item. My only real criticism: the sign, which is against the law, regarding the minimum spend for using a debit card. Considering the ridiculous percentage banks impose on such low fees, it's more bad publicity than anything else. I'd remove it and accept a loss of 10 euros (maybe) a year in exchange for the absence of negative reviews and a bad impression.

06/06/2025: Great ice cream shop! Friendly staff and creamy and delicious ice cream. I'm lucky to have it close to home so I go often :) Highly recommended!

01/06/2025: Deze plek was een enorme aanrader. Het volledige terras zat vol maar de vriendelijke obers deden toch hun best om snel een tafeltje vrij te maken. Het is hier enorm leuk buiten zitten op een gezellig pleintje in een levendige stad. Het eten was bovendien heerlijk voor een correcte prijs!

28/05/2025: Esta es una hermosa trattoria cerca de las tiendas de antigüedades y la plaza principal. Somos vegetarianos tan difíciles de comer en Trieste. ¡L’Antiquario fue un placer! Nuestros entrantes eran flores de calabacín fritas y hojas de salvia. ¡La cesta de pan también tenía un pan precioso! Tuvimos los ñoquis con pesto casero con ricota - precioso - y nos llevamos a casa el insalato con queso, semillas, col rizada, repollo rojo, así que ya estamos llenos y el insalato era ENORME! Precio muy razonable también. Definitivamente volveremos

31/05/2025: The owner is very nice It reminds you of the classic Roman village .... The place is messy, and not very clean, cobwebs on the ceiling in the veranda, etc. and it seems a bit out of the ordinary with electrical cables and slippers a bit flying on the ceiling in the veranda where in the summer it is used as a place for tables. The food, well, the first few times it was good and plentiful, the last few times I'm sorry but the carbonara was too oily and heavy so much so that when we returned at night we all had a stomach ache and a feeling of thirst. To be reviewed a bit everything ...

27/05/2025: I just took 3 fried meatballs and 3 breaded eggplants for takeout... The meatballs: the first one had pieces of hard plastic inside one of the pieces of dark meat and the other one was thrown away... The eggplants: the first one completely without salt the second one tasted rotten I think and the third one together with the second one I threw away. Let's hope we don't get sick. I think places like this should close. Obviously one star because zero is not possible.

04/06/2025: Based on the good reviews from the last few weeks and the friendly advice from the waitress in the afternoon, we decided to reserve a table for the evening. This was recommended to us as it gets quite busy in the evenings. When we got there in the evening, our expectations were disappointed. We only wanted a drink, but when we ordered we were given strange looks and asked several times if we didn't want something to eat. From then on it became very uncomfortable and the waiters' attitude was very cold and rather unfriendly. We had the feeling that if we hadn't made a reservation we would have been sent away immediately. We found it a bit cheeky that we still had to pay the 2 euros for service, even though there was no service at all and every place was cleared away as soon as we had ordered. There are much better places in town for just drinking and relaxing.

28/06/2025: This morning I went to the opening and I saw them taking the bread, that is, preparing the orders with their hands without a protective glove, my order was already ready!

25/06/2025: Good morning.so... You enter, (Baiamonti) and there are THREE barmaids at the counter, and THEY DON'T PROVIDE ANY SERVICE (they say hello when asked) and then they talk about their own business... zero service, in fact I'll call it ARROGANCE. but who do you think you are??

28/08/2025: I do not recommend this pizzeria.. Only one waiter spoke English, he did not let me order just one pizza for the table, they threw us out where we were waiting in the rain... Definitely avoid this pizzeria, for this price you will get better pizzas and better service

27/08/2025: We visited this restaurant in the evening, hungry. The burger helped with my hunger, but it worsened my depression because, contrary to all expectations, the Tropical Schmashed Burger didn't take me out of my comfort zone; it was just a burger. On top of that, despite my social anxiety, I had to order a double drink, and I even got the wrong one. If you're hungry, you're welcome to stop by, but if you're looking for spiritual enlightenment, you'll unfortunately be left empty-handed.

19/06/2025: Very close to Porto Vecchio!! So if you find yourself near there, and want a pizza, plz go! They’re very friendly. The pizza is above average! Many seats to sit! Many options! Good price! Pay by card friendly.
