26/04/2025: Excellent quality of service, perfect timing (they gave priority to the child's dish without asking), kind and professional. Excellent food (pasta with meat sauce for the child, scrambled eggs with asparagus, gnocchi with tomato and buffalo mozzarella, delicious sliced ​​black Angus cooked to perfection with the side dishes, ... and 2 glasses of house Schioppettino wine. Meat is the house specialty. We also had our dog, they put us at a table where even the dog felt at ease and did not disturb us or the rest of the customers. In short, we stumbled upon it by chance and were very satisfied. Good quality/price ratio

01/06/2025: Deze plek was een enorme aanrader. Het volledige terras zat vol maar de vriendelijke obers deden toch hun best om snel een tafeltje vrij te maken. Het is hier enorm leuk buiten zitten op een gezellig pleintje in een levendige stad. Het eten was bovendien heerlijk voor een correcte prijs!

28/05/2025: Esta es una hermosa trattoria cerca de las tiendas de antigüedades y la plaza principal. Somos vegetarianos tan difíciles de comer en Trieste. ¡L’Antiquario fue un placer! Nuestros entrantes eran flores de calabacín fritas y hojas de salvia. ¡La cesta de pan también tenía un pan precioso! Tuvimos los ñoquis con pesto casero con ricota - precioso - y nos llevamos a casa el insalato con queso, semillas, col rizada, repollo rojo, así que ya estamos llenos y el insalato era ENORME! Precio muy razonable también. Definitivamente volveremos

23/06/2025: Fabulous location, limited but special menu, service a bit poor. After years I revise my review. I called to book explaining that I didn't know the exact time because I had to wait for the end of the swimming competitions, approximately 8:30 pm, I was answered in an irritated way that they close at 9:30 pm so "it's not the case". I called another restaurant in Sistiana and they answered me "but yes, come even at 9 pm as long as you don't run on the coast, there are no problems" So with a nice A NEVER AGAIN, I strongly advise against this place.

23/06/2025: Very fresh fish, grilled, fried or served with pasta as a first course. Breaded mussels from their farm are a specialty.

26/05/2025: A very cozy cafe-bar in an impressive Art Deco style! The iconic interior alone is (almost) a tourist attraction. The outdoor seating area on the piazza (not far from the Maria Theresa Thaler—that's something, too :)) is also very cozy, especially in nice weather! The Aperol Spritz are delicious and, by Trieste standards, almost inexpensive. So you (or at least I) are happy to turn a blind eye if the staff isn't particularly attentive (but always very friendly!) ;)

01/04/2025: Today was the best day of my life, my friends and I went to eat at this kebab and we were enchanted. The kebab we tasted was full of flavors that tickled our taste buds. The sandwich was crunchy and the meat was spiced just right. The owner was very nice and the atmosphere was perfect. PS: sandwich>piadina

31/05/2025: The owner is very nice It reminds you of the classic Roman village .... The place is messy, and not very clean, cobwebs on the ceiling in the veranda, etc. and it seems a bit out of the ordinary with electrical cables and slippers a bit flying on the ceiling in the veranda where in the summer it is used as a place for tables. The food, well, the first few times it was good and plentiful, the last few times I'm sorry but the carbonara was too oily and heavy so much so that when we returned at night we all had a stomach ache and a feeling of thirst. The owner, Andrina, assisted us with our dilemma and gaining a room for the night. She was outstanding in her customer service and assistance to resolve our immediate problem. 27/05/2025: I just took 3 fried meatballs and 3 breaded eggplants for takeout... The meatballs: the first one had pieces of hard plastic inside one of the pieces of dark meat and the other one was thrown away... The eggplants: the first one completely without salt the second one tasted rotten I think and the third one together with the second one I threw away. Let's hope we don't get sick. I think places like this should close. Obviously one star because zero is not possible.
