09/03/2026: We had rabbit, chicken, and an omelette for lunch. I didn't like anything. Poor service. We left with the dishes still on the table, abandoned. The location is a saving grace.

06/11/2025: Dropped in for a spritz and was peckish. So asked for an antipasto tray. This is what arrived and every item on it was so delicious! A must try if you are in Muggia. It’s an easy ferry trip from Trieste.

05/04/2026: ATTENZIONE 💥💥 2 Star camping with 5 Star heart ❤️ Ok Campeggio Obelisco is UNASHAMEDLY 2 Star camping. But when arrive and you are greeted personally at the entrance by Milena with a HUGE smile. You begin to think "Wow how cool is this place😎 ". We arrived Easter Sunday at around 18:00. The restaurant was closed. We went in and asked kindly if we might be able to have something small to eat. At first the answer was "hmm my staff has worked hard all day and has gone home"..but then Lucca, the owner said.."..ahh let me see". We actually received such a nice meal and super drinks with a friendly atmosphere. What could you ask more for?? We already fell in love with Trieste before going into the city ... Apropo : the view above Trieste from here is a view to die for if you know what I mean? SO...If you want to UNASHAMEDLY stay at a an Old School campsite with 2 Stars but with a 5 star heart then come to Campeggio Obelisco !!

08/03/2026: The pizza is good, the ingredients are quality. I'm a regular customer and can't recommend this place enough. However, for home delivery, I've noticed delays of up to an hour on several occasions!

15/12/2025: Review for the restaurant only. Unfortunately, the high expectations we had for this day were not met, especially considering the importance of the occasion: our son's baptism. The appetizer buffet was very limited in both variety and quantity, so much so that some guests were unable to sample anything. The service, despite the courteous staff, seemed understaffed for the number of guests (about 45), resulting in long waits and refills of water and wine, which were only made upon request. The children, who had a special menu, ate later than the adults due to poor timing. During the toast, some guests' requests for additional sparkling wine were denied without consulting us; we would have expected to be consulted regarding whether or not to add it, even if it cost something, something we had clarified was not a problem. Furthermore, some requests agreed upon during the reservation were not honored: the lactose-free menu was not considered, and an elderly lady with several intolerances, who had been asked for strudel for dessert, was unfortunately not served anything. On a positive note: the first and second courses served at the table were very good and appreciated by everyone. With greater attention to organization and service management, the experience could have been significantly improved, especially for important family events.

08/03/2026: Super rich pizza, cooked as ordered, received within the agreed timeframe. Very digestible despite the abundance of ingredients. Although these were more than satisfactory, next time I'll order one with double dough...just out of curiosity. So, see you next time.

20/02/2026: One of the few neighborhood pizzerias that still retains its authenticity. Delicious and unique pizzas. Friendly and attentive staff! Excellent value for money. A pleasant place to spend an evening or order takeout.

24/08/2025: I ordered two takeout pizzas. When I got home, I was particularly struck by the microscopic size of the pizzas: they looked just like children's pizzas, with a smaller diameter. Convinced it was a mistake, I returned the next day to ask for clarification, but the owner confirmed that that's the size of the pizza they serve at their restaurant: "220 grams of dough," she specified. Now, I don't know exactly how many grams of dough are typically used to make a pizza in Italy, but I'd never been served such a small pizza, especially considering the restaurant's price range. The pizza wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best I've ever eaten. In short, a real shame, considering I recently moved around the corner and I'm a big pizza consumer (3-4 a week). I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

23/08/2025: Simply disappointed. The four of us waited 25 minutes before ordering, and we waited over an hour and a quarter. The first course arrived after another 8 minutes, the second after 4 minutes, the third, and finally, after another 18 minutes, the last course, which was fried calamari, which was boiled. Three pasta dishes arrived in over an hour. Half an hour after I ordered spaghetti with clams, the owner told me they were out of clams, so I chose the seafood sauce. It arrived incredibly spicy. I'm sorry, but I'm very disappointed. There were only two waiters in the dining room, and only one cook in the kitchen. It was too slow, too long a wait.

04/01/2026: Title: A guarantee in Trieste! Excellent food and impeccable service We went to Spiller and the experience was excellent in every way. The food is excellent, and, importantly, the portions are generous: you'll definitely leave feeling full and satisfied. The service was impeccable; the staff is kind, attentive, and very fast. The restaurant is very large, spacious, and above all, spotlessly clean, making it a very pleasant experience. The prices are absolutely average and fair for the quality and quantity offered. We'll definitely be back!
