26/12/2025: We ordered the Black Mamba menu for the second time, as well as the pulled pork (extra pulled). The sandwiches were generously generous and flavorful. I highly recommend it. I never have time to take a photo and post it because of how delicious it looks. It really amazes me that people can write negative reviews for a sandwich like this.

19/12/2025: Have a daily pasta and risotto menu as a starter, then top it off with delicious homemade cakes and cookies. Coffee, hot chocolate, juice. Some of the cakes are "adult" version - rum!

19/10/2025: As a Trieste native, Pane Quotidiano is always my favorite spot for coffee, always perfectly frothed. Today, Gabriel served me for the first time, and he even surpassed my already high standards for this chain. Extremely friendly despite the crowd, and the latte was excellent. I'll definitely be back.

10/11/2025: Ice cream at €27 per kilo in November seems excessive to me. At an ice cream shop in Montecavolo, while cycling by, I read they sell it for €19 per kilo.
19/08/2025: A simply exceptional gelateria! The gelato is among the best I've ever tasted: creamy, delicious, and made with quality ingredients. Every flavor is a discovery! But what makes this place truly special are the owners: kind, welcoming, and always smiling. Over time, they've become much more than acquaintances... they're like a second family. Visiting them is not only a pleasure for the palate, but also for the heart. Highly recommended!

01/03/2026: Unfortunately, it's gotten worse in many ways. The atmosphere remains nice, but the service is a bit too improvised, with wait times that are too long even for Trieste standards. The food quality is definitely low. In my case, the tuna tataki tasted rancid and overcooked, perhaps to hide its awful flavor. The worst thing, however, is the handling of this complaint. The waitress, the only one who really puts in the effort, comes back from the kitchen and reports the chef's verdict: "The tuna is fine as it is, but if you want, I'll make you something else." If this is the quality, it's better to say no thanks. The dish was returned to the kitchen as it arrived, obviously at full price. We won't see you again.
21/02/2026: We went there about ten days ago with a friend.
It was a Wednesday evening, and there were no tables in the restaurant except for us.
The guy was polite, although he could use a bit of a raise in his voice.
The food was decent...
The midges at the table ended the evening by keeping us warm.
I'd describe it all as: "I want to, but I can't."
Too bad, we had much higher expectations.
