16/08/2025: The restaurant is centrally located in a pedestrian zone and offers delicious food at reasonable prices. The service is fast, friendly, and they make every effort to communicate with guests in English. As a tourist, I felt very comfortable here and would like to thank them for the excellent food. I particularly recommend the pizza Diavola and the pasta dishes, which were very delicious. I had tiramisu for the first time, and I really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the pizza carbonara the day before, but others in the group did, and as you know, tastes differ – all the other dishes, however, were excellent.

24/07/2025: Good pizzas and delicious cuisine. Comfortable atmosphere. Tables are well-spaced. Now also offering excellent artisanal gelato from Gelateria Arnoldo. In the warmer months, there are plenty of outdoor tables shaded by centuries-old trees in a pedestrian area with plenty of space. A lovely children's play area is just 50 meters away. Also open in the morning as a bar.

04/09/2025: The freakish camping I have ever been to. Avoid if possible! I have email them to book places for 2 tents, no answer. I have called with 2 months in advance of arrival and the answer was "for the 1st of September for 2 tents you don't need any reservation, just come here". And yet, when we arrived the guy taking care of accommodation said we needed at reservation.....and it was 19:00. Somehow he wanted to look like he was doing us a big, big favor and he shoved us a place (gravel+mud) where we could camp. It was a place for only one car and a tent and he charged us for 2 tents. Probably he doesn't know his own camping site or he was ill-intended as we discovered that there were plenty of free spots later. We asked him to do the formalities faster since we wanted to catch the 20:04 tram 2, but he kept on smiling and moving like a replay....We stayed just for one night since we were treated like this. The only good take-away is the view from the parking or the top spot of the camping, but you could have that from the Obelisco di Trieste itself. Anyway, the guy is a freak, better avoid!

03/09/2025: An old campsite that certainly doesn't deserve 5 stars for its amenities (be careful, always bring your own toilet paper to the restroom), but 10 stars for the view and friendliness. We were very satisfied and here

04/10/2025: We stopped in about half an hour before closing time in the afternoon, but they were very nice and we didn't feel like they were leaving and couldn't do it just because of us. We have eaten at several Rossopomodoro restaurants over the years. We used to prefer this restaurant chain because of the gluten-free pizza. Surprisingly, there was a separate menu for gluten-free dishes here, meaning we found a larger selection than in their other units. I was completely satisfied with the pizza again. Thank you for the excellent quality. (The bathroom wasn't the most perfect, there could still be some improvement in its cleanliness.)

24/09/2025: We came here in 2024 and revisited in 2025. Not much had changed. The food is hearty and well priced.The Lubjanska (*spelt badly) was really good. They do good German beers, including Oktoberfest beer. The othe half tried to drink them out of prosecco ,(two years in a row). The staff are helpful and friendly making it s pleasure to visit. Al Vecio Canal has got atmosphere but is so unpretentious that pretentiousness walks on the other side of the canal to avoid the place. It's a rock bar, kinda, with locals/regulars.

16/05/2025: Il locale è molto bello, su due piani, con un arredamento molto curato, ed è solo per questo motivo che ci sono stata quattro volte. Aperol spritz, Hugo, o altri cocktail da aperitivo sono SEMPRE annacquati. Una volta può capitare, due forse anche, tre è difficile, quattro significa che è deliberato. Ovviamente il costo è uguale agli altri locali dove uno spritz aperol contiene anche la giusta quantitò di prosecco e aperol.

05/07/2025: I am sorry to have to write a negative review because it is absolutely not my habit to do so, but I think it is necessary. I spent about €60 on take-out food and given the very positive reviews, I had high expectations, but I was unpleasantly disappointed by the quality of the food purchased. The meat and vegetable meatballs were almost tasteless, full of bread, meat and vegetables almost non-existent. The chicken cutlets were very dry and even difficult to chew. Finally, the parmigiana had a particularly acidic sauce, making the entire dish not at all appetizing. I did, however, appreciate the breaded courgettes and aubergines. I would like to point out that my comment is intended to be constructive and not "destructive", but I was unpleasantly disappointed by the purchase made.

04/08/2025: Cute local coffee with nice terrace. Tasty coffee and croissants for a very fair price. We had 3 big capuchins, a juice, and 5 filled croissants for only 15 eur.
