Cena tra amici locale caratteristico cibi nella norma, il grosso problema che siamo usciti dal locale ed abbiamo dovuto portare a pulire tutto ciò che abbiamo indossato quella sera.

Triestina emigrata all'estero quando torno a Trieste ho solo voglia di mangiare pesce alla triestina. Come ho gia scritto in una recensione di un po' piu di una anno fa, torno volentieri in questo ristorante perché fa cucina casaliga "alla vecia": semplice ma efficace. Ne restano sempre di meno purtroppo. Non cambiate!!!!

In a very touristy area of ​​Trieste, you are surprised to find yourself in a small, familiar but certainly pleasant restaurant where the gastronomic offer is convincing. Out of three dishes, 1 of the three wasn't particularly interesting, but oh well. The other two, however, were rather convincing. The management? Evidently the managers are not particularly interested in being much more courteous than they should be. Essential, minimalist, even with some traits of grumpiness. Who cares, all in all we had a pretty good lunch

Simple, unpretentious but very well looked after restaurant, excellent fried calamari and sea bream fillet that tasted just like the sea. Kind and helpful even for those arriving late for lunch. Advised!

Don't look at the fake reviews, I always come to eat here and have never been disappointed. The quality is there, then if a person is frustrated and wants the red carpet...go to Cannes for the festival.

03/12/2023: Ristorante a cui non si può dir nulla se non CONSIGLIATISSIMO. Ambiente disteso e familiare, personale cortese e simpatico, conto adeguato ma soprattutto cibo a dir poco delizioso! Abbiamo iniziato con due primi: un tagliolino con granchio alla busera e un raviolo ripieno di baccalà in crema di cipollotto e crumble di mandorle. Entrambi fenomenali ma il tagliolino e una vera goduria. Come secondi abbiamo scelto i moscardini serviti su un crostone di pane con il loro guazzetto e una coda di rospo con carciofi spadellati, entrambi eccellenti. Con vino, due caffè e due amari offerti abbiamo speso 45€ a testa. Assolutamente prezzi onesti vista la quantità e la qualità delle pietanze. Ottimo! Immancabile tappa se si è a Trieste!
