01/12/2025: I ordered delivery this evening and asked for a change by calling the restaurant directly because they wouldn't let me do it via the app. They were really kind on the phone and the pizza was really excellent.

10/10/2025: As a Neapolitan and pizza lover, I can say that the food here is truly delicious. The pizza by the slice is also worth it. I recommend it...5 stars!!!

13/07/2025: I’m sitting in the village of Prosek, sipping real Prosecco — turns out this is where it originally comes from! However, the name Prosecco was officially registered elsewhere, so locals here are only allowed to call their wine Prosekar. There’s something called an Osmiza — a tradition that allows locals to sell their homemade wine and food, but only for a very limited time during the year. You can find a list of open Osmizas online, but it’s always best to ask locals which ones are authentic and not for tourist. Let me tell you — the wine was absolutely incredible. They should bottle it as perfume! A glass of their homemade Prosekar was just €3.50. We also shared some local meats — Prosciutto Arrosto and Ombolo — and for dessert, a panna cotta that was out of this world. We spent about an hour there, chatted with the locals, made some new friends.Not a tourist in sight — just a truly local experience.

25/12/2025: Christmas Eve, €50 per person Seafood buffet, risotto as a first course, bluefin tuna and mashed potatoes, panna cotta and dried fruit as a second course, wine and water included. The salmon was fabulous; we didn't like the tuna because it was too seasoned. Service was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable.

14/10/2025: Good, fast, classic, traditional Italian food. Workers from the factory next door. A 10 without a doubt.

30/11/2025: What a cozy little place! If you like the mixture of modern days' furnitures, due to the gallery and its poles a bit industrial lines and a warm, jazzy background music with nice, old objects around, this is your place. The service fee surprised me a bit, but that might be just a cultural difference. I like to tip, it's just weird when the amount is fixed. But if you don't want to pay 0,60 Euro for that, you can have your coffee by the bar with the locals. 😊

08/12/2025: I've been coming to this Osteria since I was little, and the quality of the food has always been high. In my opinion, the best gnocchi in the Trieste area!!

06/12/2025: My son had been pestering me for a week. Then I gave in: "Let's go to Tormento, son." From the name, I was about to brace myself for the arrival of instant Maalox right after the first bite, but... the packet of Maalox remained untouched. The sandwiches are tasty, large, well-filled, and above all, greasy enough that you're forced to juggle the napkin to save your jeans from painful stains for your wallet. The skill of some of the patrons in avoiding tormenting drips is commendable. The people at the tables are calm, and in this day and age, that's not to be taken lightly. The waiter doesn't even think about technology. He's equipped with a notepad and pen, and with these alone, he takes your order without hesitation. The environment is simple and without the glassware of the Cracco Restaurant it makes it even more pleasant. However, I believe that in the kitchen there is a lady who knows how to do her job well and who loves it and I imagine her with a smile just like Sora Lella's.

12/11/2025: A couple of cold drinks in the afternoon. Free nibbles with them and the service was with a smile. Recommended.

06/04/2026: Good pizzeria for the quality of the food... in my opinion a little expensive, the buffalo mozzarella and raw ham pizza with charcoal dough was over 15 euros... otherwise the food was quick and the staff was friendly.

31/03/2026: I ate pizza, good ingredients but the dough was mediocre, sorry, rubbery.

09/03/2026: Only the setting mitigates the staff's inefficiency and unpleasantness. The price is also... unpleasant! €4 for a coffee... served lukewarm 🤬

19/02/2026: One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. A truly wonderful surprise! Fair and fair prices for the quality offered, and the staff is motivated, kind, and attentive. The cuisine is excellent: excellent risotto, top-quality meat, and very good wine. As a celiac, the absolute best thing was being able to eat practically the entire menu without any worries. Everything was available gluten-free, and even the desserts were almost all gluten-free (except the biscotti). A rarity and a huge added value! The place is rustic and welcoming, with a family atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Thank you so much to the entire team for a wonderful evening!
