29/08/2025: A refined and established restaurant committed to serving high-quality dishes. Yesterday, my mother accidentally saw the owner's purchase order. Apparently, the price of the salmon they buy is about three times higher than that of regular salmon. It's no wonder the dishes are so high-quality. 👍

04/09/2025: We had lunch here after visiting the cave to shelter from the approaching storm. Honestly, we didn't have high expectations, but we were extremely satisfied. Amazing pizza, top-notch meat...the desserts...are definitely worth trying. We'll be back!

13/08/2025: I'm annoyed that I even have to give it a point. The lady of the house immediately turned us away (two people + dog). She blamed it on "no reservation," but we realized she simply didn't want us to stay. We'd been told about similar scenarios at the hotel before.

20/08/2025: A very pleasant surprise: traditional dishes were well-prepared and plentiful. The homemade gnocchi with various seafood sauces were sublime. Highly recommended, but be careful with reservations given the small size of the place. P.S. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to finish the gnocchi with prawns... It usually never ends like that!

19/08/2025: Renzo is a character, friendly, joking, he makes you feel at home, the location is beautiful and welcoming, the menu is very fresh fish, nothing frozen, not even vegetables, in fact there is no à la carte menu it depends on what is fresh, the first courses are plentiful, the price is reasonable, we know that good fish is expensive especially if it is the catch of the day, overall an excellent rating

10/05/2025: Ci siamo entrati per caso, perché vicino al ns Hotel, la migliore cena con piatti tipici e vino 🍷 del posto, piatti semplici ma squisiti e gustosi. Assolutamente consigliato

06/05/2025: Locale molto carino, pulito e curato scovato grazie al classico passaparola. Accoglienza cordiale e simpaticissima. Ottima preparazione del personale in merito alla carta dei vini, alle materie prime e all'utilizzo delle stesse. Non essendo del posto ci siamo affidate a loro sia per la scelta dei piatti tipici locali che del vino ed era tutto eccezionale. Ottimo anche il rapporto qualità prezzo. Nulla da aggiungere. Super consigliato.

20/08/2025: The area is nice, as is the bar, but the Spritz was actually okay for a teetotaler, so watered down was it. Not to mention the matches weren't fresh.

12/08/2025: Lyfe is a must-visit in Trieste! A refined atmosphere, a welcoming terrace, and always smiling staff. But the real highlight are the aperitifs: delicious, rich, and generous, accompanied by fresh and plentiful appetizers that alone are worth the stop. Whether it's a glass of wine, a perfect spritz, or a creative cocktail, you always leave satisfied and with a smile. A place where aperitifs aren't just a drink, but an experience to share.

25/08/2025: Truly awful pizza. Unleavened dough, almost acidic flavor. It almost seems like it was taken from a frozen food store and reheated in the oven. High price.

17/08/2025: Thanks so much to Georgio for a wonderful night! By far the best atmosphere we found in a bar in Trieste during our short stay. Georgio was kind and great craic and then he found out we were Irish he played us some Rory Gallagher. It's cash only, not a cocktail vibe but beers and spirits aplenty with good rock and soul music played from CDs. A few sore heads the next day but the memories remain ! X

07/09/2025: This is the second time, in six months, that I've decided to sit down for its prime location. After a while, my previous assessment of the staff and service is confirmed, disappointing and unprofessional. Not a smile, not a word of politeness from the maître d' at the entrance who indicates your seat. The staff can't recommend cocktails or anything else other than bringing you the menu. Delivery is rushed with little attention to the customer. Seats and cushions are stained with crumbs from previous occupants, tables are unstable, and prices don't justify the poor service (€9 for a slice of cake; for the same price and in a historic location, I've had professional and privileged service at Caffè Sacher or Caffè Tommaseo or S. Marco). A real shame for a renowned café with historic value and a refined interior.
