30/07/2025: Good pizza, reasonable prices, clean and tidy. A pleasant place to hang out, minus the lack of non-alcoholic Spritz.

21/07/2025: Crostino is a place I go to often because it's convenient for us students at lunch. So, offhand, I'd say their pizza slices are truly excellent: you can taste the quality, and they have the perfect balance of crispiness and softness! That said, I wanted to add that the guys are amazing! Not knowing where to host my graduation reception, I turned to them, and they were incredibly helpful and accommodating, allowing me to organize a truly wonderful event. Truly, truly amazing!

20/10/2025: Very friendly place, delicious Ljubljana, honestly the best!!! I recommend trying the light and tasty alternative Ljubljana, truly excellent🤩

21/09/2025: I enter this bar-restaurant, order a five-euro drink, and the owner refuses to let me pay by card and won't let me consume what I ordered. Among other things, she arrogantly and rudely says that she makes the law. Perhaps she doesn't understand that it's 2025 and that the law allows for the possibility of paying any amount with electronic payments. I strongly advise against coming here and will report the incident to the relevant authorities.

08/10/2025: A real locals’ bar — laid-back, full of life every single day! The vibe is unbeatable, the prices are shockingly good for a big city, and the atmosphere? Pure Trieste! If you don’t come here, you’re missing out on the best spot in town. I’ll be back. Again. And again. And again!

05/10/2025: The place is always packed. Finally, after several attempts, we managed to find a spot for an aperitivo. The cicchetti are excellent! Wide selection of wines. But don't go there, or we won't find a seat ;-)

12/09/2025: Delicious gelato, counter service, and shaded outdoor seating on the avenue and inside. The price per scoop is questionable at €2, but still within the norm.

14/07/2025: Excellent gelato shop. Never disappointed (including the cakes and cassatas)! In my opinion, one of the best in the city. I really don't understand the negative reviews (perhaps it was bad luck that we made a mistake with the daily dough? Guys, those who work make mistakes!). I live "there" and go there often. The prices are high, but they are everywhere these days, and gelato, like pizza, is becoming a luxury item. My only real criticism: the sign, which is against the law, regarding the minimum spend for using a debit card. Considering the ridiculous percentage banks impose on such low fees, it's more bad publicity than anything else. I'd remove it and accept a loss of 10 euros (maybe) a year in exchange for the absence of negative reviews and a bad impression.

30/09/2025: It's nice to sit here. The prices are reasonable. The service staff has a mind of their own. A smile costs nothing...and can even end wars.

26/09/2025: We returned after a bad experience due to the crowd and poor service. The burgers were very good, as was the rest of the menu. The girl who served us was very kind and impeccable. I highly recommend it.

19/09/2025: Great atmosphere. Knulp is a place where you can read, relax, work, study, or have a coffee or beer. They organize many interesting evenings, from book signings to concerts. A truly great place!

15/09/2025: Terrible experience at a paid concert (with an entrance ticket): my reservation was NOT recognized, and after an hour they forced me to get up because some rude guy had booked, even though he DIDN'T pay!

17/07/2025: I've been there a couple of times and have always had a great time: excellent food and cocktails, fast and friendly service. The only downside is the dim lighting, so much so that I had to use a flashlight to get my phone to scan the QR code.

07/07/2025: Big disappointment, I found this bar based on reviews and I liked it. I look forward to it all day and then in the evening I find out that it's not there at all and that in the meantime they changed the status on Google to Closed? Maybe I was just unlucky, but when I was looking for it, it definitely wasn't there yet and the bar seemed open.

14/09/2025: Welcoming and well-maintained place, everything spotlessly clean. Excellent dishes, from appetizers to main courses! Unfortunately, we skipped dessert, but I know they also make Neapolitan pastiera...I've already tried it and it's superb! Our compliments go to the young chef Brian, with a solid A+. TOP for the cuisine and for his willingness to share the history of the place and its surroundings. I definitely recommend it 👍

13/08/2025: We had dinner today. I highly recommend it: the food was excellent, beautifully presented, and served by a friendly and knowledgeable waiter. The wine was also excellent, an Istrian Malvasia, pleasantly described as sharp with an apple aftertaste. Thank you for a pleasant evening.

03/11/2025: They kick you off the terrace if you don’t order food, drinks are not allowed... and the canal is filthy and smells bad, so even if I ate something, I’d probably throw ...Terrible… Thanks for the hospitality...

My wife's Trieste goulash was also delicious 🤤 The service was excellent, friendly, and pleasant 👍 We didn't check previous reviews and went to the trattoria with a completely open mind. We were not disappointed and would gladly return! Grazie 🇮🇹
