I migliori ristoranti in Trieste

03/03/2025: Sono stata a pranzo la domenica prima del Carnevale. Immaginavo sarebbe stato caotico, ma è un eufemismo. Sala piena con tanti camerieri che andavano su e giù (alcuni anche un pochino maldestri), per pura fortuna però troviamo un tavolo. Per prendere l'ordinazione i tempi di attesa erano tutto sommato giusti, ma il servizio era pessimo sotto ogni aspetto: posate e tovaglioli, quella che definivano "tovaglietta" sembrava più un volantino pubblicitario. 2,50 euro per un coperto inesistente in poche parole. Tempi di attesa biblici (almeno un'ora e mezza) per le pizze. Mio figlio ha ordinato una pasta con salsa di pomodoro, arrivata quasi subito (10 minuti) mentre gli altri a bocca asciutta. I camerieri non si sono nemmeno premurati di portare del pane o dei grissini (ripeto, 2.50 euro di coperto!). Altra gente, seduta ai tavoli da molto (in attesa) e altrettanto spazientiti hanno preso e se ne sono andati, a maggior ragione. Inoltre, nell'ordine, si sono pure dimenticati una pizza (ahimè, capita, ma nemmeno una parola di scuse). Pizza con buoni ingredienti ma la pasta cruda, gommosa. Mangiato solo per fame (dopo un'ora e mezza, almeno quello). Il tocco finale è stato il momento del saldo conto: quasi 30 euro a testa e il titolare pretendeva conto unico perché "tanto pagate in contanti vero?" Ahi ahi, dopo che i miei amici hanno fatto notare la pessima esperienza riusciamo a pagare separato. Arrivato il mio turno, evidentemente perché sono donna (al mio amico non ha fatto commenti) il "gentil signore" mi viene a dire che siamo degli scostumati (davanti a mio figlio, tra l'altro). Che faccia tosta. Ho lavorato in ristorazione pure io per anni, e la giornata no può capitare a tutti. Però, nemmeno un "mi scusi, oggi siamo incasinati", uno sconto per il servizio pessimo, un bicchierino della casa o qualsiasi altro gesto di cortesia. Zero. Terribile. E poi i maleducati saremmo noi. Per il caffè ci siamo affidati a buone caffetterie in città, lì non meritava un minuto di più. Ps. Ci sono, a Trieste, molte altre pizzerie che meritano per gentilezza, servizio e qualità. Qui mai più, piuttosto un kebab al volo.

02/04/2025: In quattro amici siamo stati in questo locale di sabato sera, prenotando telefonicamente un paio di giorni prima, attratti dalle recensioni, dalla vicinanza al nostro alloggio (dopo una giornata intensa di visita di Trieste non volevamo allontanarci ulteriormente) e, non ultimo, dalle portate proposte nel menu. Il locale è ampio non troppo rumoroso e con uno stile vintage molto apprezzato. Servizio celere e cortese. Le portate sono abbondanti e gustose. Abbiamo assaggiato un pò di tutto e il mio consiglio è il Tris di baccalà come antipasto (mantecato, fritto e in polpette), i paccheri al ragù di branzino per primo piatto e come secondo ho solo il Fish & Chips alla triestina come termine di paragone, con calamari, alici impanate e sardoni fritti... buono anche se non ho gradito troppo il metodo di frittura delle patate. Dolci classici con lo strudel di mele a farla da padrone. Ottimo il rapport qualità prezzo. Si mangia bene e si spende il giusto. A cosa di riferisce il "ma..." del titolo? Purtroppo arrivati nell'appartamento ci siamo accorti, tutti e quattro, che il copritovaglia giallo posto sul tavolo aveva sporcato i gomiti dei nostri golf e camicie trasferendo il colore sui tessuti. Poco male, si lavano, ma rimane il fastidio. A parte quest'ultima nota, locale consigliatissimo.

19/03/2025: Bodenständig, freundlich, preiswert. Grosse Portionen, alles gut, aber nichts Aussergewöhnliches. Man wird satt mit gutem Essen, aber kein „Esserlebnis“.

08/03/2025: Beautiful place, it's a shame that the staff serves those who arrived later first than those who arrived earlier.

30/10/2024: The best ice cream in Trieste but, above all, friendly and always smiling staff. In particular Betty who pampered us by advising us in the best possible way. Compliments. We will return again.

06/04/2025: Wir haben bei unserem Campingaufenthalt gleich bei unserer Ankunft super leckere Pasta gegessen. Es war so gut, dass wir an den beiden folgenden Tagen ebenfalls Fisch und Meeresfrüchte genossen haben. Typisch italienische Küche, angenehm entspannte und sehr sympathische Bedienung.

07/03/2025: The place itself is very beautiful, convenient to public transport that takes you directly to the center of Trieste, the only flaw is that it is in an incredible state of disarray. Having said that, the managers are very helpful, polite and friendly and it is right to give them a note of merit. Personally I was placed at the entrance next to the reception and the place was excellent!! I will definitely return, but it's a shame it isn't better kept!!

02/03/2025: We paid a disproportionate price for a rosbif and a medium quality cut!!!! Super not recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

02/03/2025: I find the price of €31 for a cut of beef and €26 for a roast beef exaggerated without showing the menu with the price list. I didn't say anything but I will never set foot in this place again.

30/03/2025: Very good and the waiter was very kind in advising us what to eat. I will happily return!

11/03/2025: Given that I really like Lebanese food and I often eat it out and about, here at Yalla I ate the best chicken wrap and kebab wrap I've ever eaten in Italy. The meat is cooked very well, the sauces are good, the choice of gherkin is spot on and the price is super accessible. I was very impressed and I wasn't weighed down after eating! Recommended and I will definitely return when I return to Trieste :)

06/02/2025: Sono stata più volte in questo ristorante con mio marito, figlio sua moglie e nipotina. Abbiamo mangiato sia carne che pesce tutto buonissimo. Deliziose le tagliatelle al ragù di cinghiale 🐗 raro da trovare. Buonissimi i dolci. Servizio gentile e veloce. Vista panoramica su Muggia da togliere il fiato. Conto onestissimo almeno per noi che proveniamo da Venezia. Consigliatissimo. Bravi continuate così.

03/01/2025: I haven't eaten such good sandwiches in I don't know how long, and I speak as a Turin native. The boy who serves at the counter and at the tables is so kind and polite that even a quick lunch snack is pleasant. Highly recommended for those coming from outside Muggia and Trieste in general, you won't regret it!
