I am a regular customer of the place and I would like to highlight the courtesy of the service staff at the counter.

I frequent Caffè degli Specchi every day, the wonderful historic café overlooking Piazza Unità d'Italia in Trieste. The kindness of the staff, including Mon Desirée, Billah, Saad and Donel, but also all the others, combined with the quality of the products make it an absolute must-see for anyone coming to Trieste.

Recommended for a visit, especially at sunset. It offers a great view of the square and the embankment. A very pleasant and intimate place in the heart of Trieste.

We stopped at Caffè degli Specchi for breakfast during our visit to Trieste, and the experience was very pleasant. We had cappuccinos, freshly squeezed juice, and croissants. Everything was beautifully presented and of good quality. We particularly liked the croissants—fragrant and tasty—while the cappuccino was well-prepared. The real highlight is undoubtedly the location: having breakfast overlooking Piazza Unità d'Italia creates a truly special atmosphere. The service was friendly and reasonably quick despite the crowds. The prices are in line with the location and one of the city's most famous historic cafés. I recommend this stop for anyone visiting Trieste who wants to enjoy breakfast with a truly splendid view.

Good value for drinks or light meals in the main square. Friendly service in a busy spot, great presentation and atmosphere.

A splendid bar in the stunning Piazza Unità di Italia with a sunset view. We ordered some very good spritzes accompanied by chips and some free snacks. The price was €8 per spritz without service, which is very reasonable for the location. Friendly staff.

Milanese beware! Our cappuccino is the equivalent of a caffe latte in Trieste. If you ask for a cappuccino, they'll bring you a caffè macchiato.

A very nice café. The food and service are really good. However, it's incomprehensible that the restrooms are comparatively worn and neglected.

A magical experience in the heart of Trieste It was our first time at Caffè degli Specchi, and we were enchanted. Located in the beautiful main square, it offers a breathtaking view that allowed us to enjoy a spectacular sunset. A gentle sea breeze refreshed us after a day of walking in the sun to visit the wonderful Miramare Castle. We ordered several special aperitifs, all truly excellent and high-quality, accompanied by canapés, chips, and bagigi (a typical Italian pastry) on the house. What made the evening truly unforgettable was our waitress, Mondesir: professional, impeccable, always cheerful and with a smile on her face. Chatting with her, we discovered she speaks numerous languages; she's truly wonderful. Thank you so much for helping us appreciate this place and its unique view. We'll definitely be back!

It’s a terrific place for mid-afternoon APERITIVO in Trieste. Perfectly located in Piazza Grande, the outside seating is a place to relax. THIS IS THE PLACE FOR SPRITZ, the choice is extensive. There is a “Spritz Map of Italy “ based on ingredients they use😎😎😎 CLEVER. For the famished, there is a good menu that looks reasonable. There is also a chocolate and pastries counter. Service is very good.
