After a walk among the hills of the Karst plateau, you cannot miss the classic stop at the Icecafe ice cream shop in Basovizza and taste the legendary Mozart flavoured ice cream which varies on the palate between intense chocolate and aromas of amaretto, considered by us to be the best of the Trieste plateau, some even want it to be a UNESCO heritage site, try it and believe it.

A monthly must-visit for me. Small but welcoming, it has plenty of outdoor space, excellent ice cream with a wide variety of flavors, focaccia, sandwiches, and not to mention the warm strudel. I often enjoy these delicacies, especially the traditional Kranz, which is amazing. I always stock up! 😂 A good black, as they call it, is an excellent coffee for me! The staff is always friendly and smiling. In short, it's worth a stop!
